Chapter 20

Roxanne POV

I'm so scared I don't even know what to think.

Yesterday once Aiden told me he thought I was pregnant I was so shocked.

I mean I would love to have a kid....a daughter to be more exact.

I was just shocked that I was so oblivious to the fact I could be and I'm a girl.

We were right now heading to the doctor.

I was drinking some ginger ale and eating some chips.

Not the best mix but hey I was hungry don't judge.

"Are you ready?" Aiden asked, squeezing my hand as soon as the car stopped.

"More ready than I'll ever be" I said smiling and he nodded.

He got out helping me out the car while we headed into the building.

I scrunched up my nose as we passed by a sick boy throwing up.

We made it to the desk and already I felt like spewing my guts out.

"Hello how may I help you" The woman asked.

"Um we have an appointment with Dr.Callahan at 8:30" Aiden said.

The woman looked over her clipboard and then smiled.

"Aw you may go sit in the waiting room he should be calling you in a minute" She said and we nodded.

Aiden grabbed my hand and took me to sit down.

We sat down not talking because there were alot of humans present more than werewolves and this

place is owned by them.

Aiden glanced at me smiling and I turned to look at him questionably.

"What is there something on my face" I asked, rubbing at it and he shook his head.

"If you were pregnant I would want a son" He said and I shook my head.

"I want a little girl I would love to doll her up" I said dreamily staring off into space.

Aiden chuckled hugging me towards him resting his head on mine.

"I guess a girl would be nice as long as you don't have her running around with a bow bigger than her

head on" Aiden said.

I rolled my eyes "hmph I wouldn't do anything like that anyway.." I said the other part quieter "..I

wouldn't know where to find one" I said.

Aiden chuckled and I nudged him "Hey it's it funny it's cute" I said.

Before he could say anything my name was called.

"Mrs.Matthew?s" A doctor asked, coming up to me and I nodded.

"Will you follow me" He asked and I nodded.

Aiden and I followed the doctor quietly anxious as ever.

We were taken into a room where I had to do a few tests.

After that we waited in his office while he went to get the results.

I was squeezing Aiden's hands anxiously. I was so nervous about what the results were going to be.

The docter finally walked in taking off his gloves and throwing them away.

He sat across from us and sighed which actually scared me.

"Is everything alright doctor" I asked him and his eyes darted towards me.

"Oh yeah I just had to give someone bad news before coming here" He said and I nodded

understandingly.

"Anyways would you two be happy if you were with a child" He asked and I glanced at Aiden who

nodded.

I nodded at Dr.Callahan and he smiled at us.

"Well then that means what I'm about to tell you won't be bad news" He said and my ears perked up.

I couldn't help the excitement that was coming over me.

I hoped that the news he thought was going to be bad was what I thought it was.

"Well Roxanne you are indeed pregnant in fact 1 month in" He said and I almost exploded.

I dropped up and down happily smiling with Aiden held me chuckling.

The doctor glanced between the both of us and smiled.

"You know that werewolf pregnancies are different from those of humans" He said and I nodded.

"You're usually pregnant for about 6 1/2 months to 7 months before going into labor" He said and I

nodded.

"Also you become fatter a little faster now that you're one month you should start gaining that weight"

He said and I nodded.

After we talked some more with the doctor and he gave us some pamphlets and stuff about pregnancy

we were off.

We were heading home and I couldn't help but smile my face off.

"We're going to be parents" I yelled and Aiden smiled at me.

"I know this is great I can't wait for it to be born" He said and I nodded my head furiously.

Then all of a sudden it hit me we have to tell everyone.

"Aiden we have to tell my parents and the rest of the pack about this" I said and his smile dropped.

We were so excited about me being pregnant we forgot about the people that also had to know.

"We need to tell everyone as soon as we get back" Aiden said and I nodded.

We soon arrived home. The short drive was actually quite draining.

I walked in glancing at the kitchen where everyone was conveniently sat. I looked at the clock Oh it's

only 10 it's breakfast time.

I glanced over at Aiden who nodded.

"Everyone I..." as soon as everyone glanced at me I panicked.

"Aiden has something to tell you," I said pushing him in front of me.

He turned around glaring at me and I smiled.

"Um hey guys uh me and Roxy have some good news" He said nervously and everyone smiled.

"Roxy is pregnant" He said and the room fell silent.

The first one to break the silence as my mom.

"I'm going to be a grandmother" She said and afterwards everyone cheered.

I glanced at Aiden who was smiling at me.

He pecked me on the forehead while everyone came to congratulate us.
