Chapter 12

Roxanne POV

I can't believe I'm turning 18 in only a month. Time has gone by so fast.

I would finally figure out who my mate was the person I would spend the rest of my life with.

I hoped that it was Aiden because that would make me happier than ever knowing I was destined to be

with someone I cared about so much.

It would hurt bad if he wasn't my mate so I tried to push that thought out my head.

I was running my hand through his hair right now.

He had fallen asleep when I tried to force him to watch The Notebook.

His hair was so soft I couldn't stop moving my fingers through it.

Lately he's been getting more confident and don't get me wrong I like his cute little blushing self but I

also like seeing him not being scared of everything.

Nevertheless I would still like him for however he acted.

I looked down at his innocently cute sleeping face.

I'm glad I asked him to date me before Rachel tried to snatch him up.

I laughed a little when my mind drifted back to me, almost snatching her hair off her head making her

scream loud as hell. I wonder if Aiden could hear it?

I felt him moving under me and I glanced down at Aiden before his arms came up wrapping around my

body yanking me towards him.

I was pulled tightly against his chest, my lips against his neck.

I felt my face heat up at how close I was to him.

I tried to wiggle out his grasp but it was no use he was stronger.

I could definitely feel the Alpha in him.

I used my arms to shake him but nothing.

I tried calling out to him but it was muffled against his neck.

I just gave up and decided to just fall asleep since it was night and I wasn't getting out until he woke up.

Even though I was trying to get out I snuggled more against him and soon the darkness took over.

I woke up glancing at the clock it was 10:45 in the morning. Breakfast was almost over.

I then felt something warm breathing against my neck steadily.

I was a little freaked out at first until I looked down and realized it was Roxy in my arms.

She looked so pretty in her sleep angelic like even.

Her brown hair was hanging off the bed and her arms were around my waist.

“Roxy” I said and she replied with a slight hum.

I smiled at her because she was so cute it didn't make any sense.

“Are you hungry" I asked and she nodded sleepily, her eyes were still closed.

“Well I'll go get you some food” I said and she shook her head.

“Why not I thought you were hungry” I asked looking at her confusingly.

“I don't want you to move I'm very comfy” She said and I chuckled at her.

I stayed in the bed with her a little longer until she finally decided to get up.

She rolled on top of me laying so that we were looking at each other.

“You know you trapped me first” She said smiling at me.

“I did?” I asked and she nodded trying to scoot up my body.

Once her face was close to mine she smiled at me.

“So you owe me” She said her smile turning to a smirk.

“I owe you what” I asked and her eyes darted down towards my lips.

“You have to kiss me” She said and I chuckled slightly I didn’t have a problem with that at all.

She leaned her head down pressing her lips against mine.

I wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me.

When I kissed her it was intoxicating. It gave me energy I never knew I had.

It was a sweet and gentle kiss, nothing too rough especially not this early in the morning.

We pulled away gasping for air and she smiled at me.

“That was the best way to wake up. I need a kiss like that every morning” She said and I nodded

smiling at her.

“We've been dating for a week and It’s honestly been the greatest week of my life” I said and she

nodded.

It's been 2 days since we were at the store and I remembered what Roxy said.

I smiled to myself thinking about the fact that she cared for me as much as I did for her.

“Why are you smiling” Roxy asked eyeing me suspiciously.

“I was thinking about how much I liked you” I said and she smiled.

“You like me huh” She asked me and I nodded.

She smiled "I like you too" She said ruffling my hair.

She glanced over at a piece of paper at her desk then perked up.

“What's wrong” I asked her and she pointed at the paper.

“You know how my birthday is in a month or so from now” She asked and I nodded.

“How could I forget” I rubbed her back comfortingly allowing her to go on.

“Well my mom and dad got me a weekend getaway a week from now at a cabin and I wanted to know if

you wanted to come” She asked.

“I'll love too..” I said and she squealed out of excitement practically jumping out of my arms..

"..but on one condition" I said and she raised an eyebrow at me.

“What is it” She asked and I smirked pointing at my lips. I never really smirked but I was doing a lot of

“You have to give me a kiss” I said and she smiled.

I pulled her towards me kissing her. I think I was becoming addicted to her kisses.
