Chapter 47 Epilogue
Five years later
“Karla! you fucking shot me!! and this is my favorite shirt!”
“It’s your fault! and I hated that shirt!”
Karla looked at him furiously but carefully put the gun back inside the secret compartment by the kitchen counter.
“I should’ve hidden all the guns when we’re going normal.” He muttered in annoyance.
“Pfft… there won’t be any normalcy for us. Come on help me up! I’m as big as an elephant.”
Gus the older ball of fur confirmed her words by getting up from his cat bed and slipping through the cat door. He knows for sure that his human couple was far from normal.
Yegor was still bleeding on his arm, but he managed to deal with the pain and help his beautiful wife. She was having trouble getting up from her chair because of the contractions when he told her that he was going out for a meeting with Darko.
On the day that she was scheduled for her cesarean.
“One more child, you say. We’re done after this one, this is the last one…” Karla grumbled while she gets a clean napkin and wrapped his arm to stop the bleeding.
“You’ll live, but now to have to go to a doctor to patch up your wound. Don’t worry I’ll tell the doctor to go easy on you, while you can supervise our baby being born! and make sure they don’t kill me on the operating table!”
“Yes, mam.” He smirked and pull her in for his deep sensual kisses.
“You know you should just tell me that you want me there, you don’t have to shoot me.” The former mob boss put his hand on her back and sensually massage her lower spine making her sigh in delight.
“It’s mandatory!…. You think?!… You make the baby!… you gotta… stick to it till… the end!” she was exercising her breathing. It was their third baby, she knows the drill already.
But it was her first cesarean, somehow with each pregnancy, the baby kept on getting bigger, and by the third, her doctor said that the baby was too big for her to give birth naturally and she was advised for a c-section. And because of that, she was having anxieties, and she was expressing it by shooting her husband for trying to leave her on the delivery date.
“Mommy!”
“Ma!
Their five-year-old and two-year-old greeted when Margot walked into the room with them. She was surprised seeing Yegor’s arm but shook her head when Karla told her why she shot him.
“My handsome boys,” she hugged them while she was obviously trying to hold the pain.
“… mommy and daddy will go to the clinic and get your sister out of my belly, please no more shooting at the grapes okay? play inside and let Margot rest for the day.”
“Okay, love you mom… daddy!”
“Lov ma! …. dad!”
The two toddlers were giggling loudly and screaming for him when Yegor picked them up and crushes them in his heartwarming hug.
Margot looked at the growing family with pride, she was a bit teary thinking that Yegor had grown up to be a very fine individual.
A family man, with a non-mafia business on the side.
“Come on, you don’t want to be late. Your bags are in the car and the driver is waiting on the driveway.” Margot reminded them of their schedule.
Yegor put the kids down and told them that he’ll be back to get them to see their little sister. And the couple was seated on the back of his car ten minutes later.
“I love you, Karla.” He whispered while she rests on his shoulder as they were leaving the vineyard.
The young family has been living in the vineyard villa for five years. They’re living as a couple who owns a very successful winery with acres of plantation lands.
Darko would come and visit every now and then, Yegor would go only if he was ever needed. They have been living the laid-back wine country lifestyle and strangely both of them are very happy and content with it.
“Do you still remember what happened at our wedding?” Yegor starts to reminisce about their wedding, he would tell her stories every time she was about to get into labor.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
The method always works as it took her mind from her pain when she started to think back to the happiest day of their life.
“I love you,” she took his hand and kissed it. He chuckled and kissed her cheek while continuing on his story.
“… I’ve never seen Ardian so furious with Darko.”
“Well, he did shelter Valentina without Ardian knowing…” Karla answered smiling when she realized that her sexy tattooed husband was trying to make her forget about the contractions.
Their talk continues until they arrived at the exclusive clinic that caters to the rich. Yegor never expects less for his forever bride and that was exactly what he said when he marries Karla. He arrogantly said in his vow that he would give her the best that life can offer.
The most expensive suite was prepared for their arrival, the assigned nurse greeted them as they stepped into their grand lobby which looked nothing less than a five-star luxury resort in Europe.
“… please follow me, the doctor will be with you in a moment.”
The nurse looked at his arm and asked if he wants to get looked at, but he refused, telling her that he’s fine.
“Yegor…”
“I said, later. You’re in more pain than me.” He kissed her lips and it shut her up instantly.
“Mr. Egorov, Karla… how are you feeling today? are we ready for your beautiful princess?”
Karla smiled and nodded at her doctor while she sits down on the bed. Yegor had started using his middle name for all administration stuff as advised by their lawyers since they decided to move and live at the vineyard just outside of Paris.
“I’ll see you inside, Yegor… I’ll be fine.”
“I know because I’ll kill them all if anything happens to you.” He whispered making her heart warm on the inside.
Karla smiled and kissed her husband for life, she was about to be prepped for surgery, and Yegor suddenly reluctant to let her go once her doctor explained to them one more time about the procedure.
“Yegor, I’ll be okay. You should get your arm patched up.”
“One of the doctors will do it later after your procedure. I’m okay, they gave me pain meds. I’m good. And you will be too.” He looked at her then to her doctors and nurses, if looks can kill he will be throwing daggers at them just to make sure his forever lover came out of the surgery without any complication.
And all of his worries flew out the window the moment the baby’s cry was heard forty-five minutes later.
“Congratulations, it’s a baby girl.” Their doctor confirmed while the nurses clean and the baby was checked for her vitals by the pediatrician and within moments she was placed into his arms.
“Our little princess.”
“I love you.” She whispered when he showed her their beautiful daughter.
“I love you more.”
Yegor never thought that one day he would live his life with the one woman he hated the most, the beautiful and strongest woman who loved him back and fought to labor three of his children.
That night the parents sleep peacefully with their new daughter securely sleeping between them.
The daughter who would grow up to be the most protected mob heiress of all time. With two protective older brothers, and the most dangerous sets of parents any kid would ever dream of.
