“Maybe we should find you another doctor? I don’t like seeing you like this.” Yegor was holding her hair while she was puking out her breakfast.

“So, you’re really serious about giving everything to Darko?”

“Kiska, you’ve quit your job and now it’s my turn. I will be handing over all operational to him. In our family, no one can quit but I can step down and let my brother take over my job. We’re going to have our early retirement and our forever honeymoon.”

She smiled at the baby daddy knowing he was right, at least he was not lying to her. Years of studying them she knows no one can truly escape their oath, not unless they’re dead.

Karla started eating Margot’s French chicken casserole and sighed in content, as it has been a while.

Her cooking always makes her feel happy.

“Wherever we go, she goes with us.”

Yegor chuckled agreeing with her as he spooned the creamy casserole then started cutting into his steak. They eat while enjoying the cool night breeze, he would give her little touches telling her that he still couldn’t believe all of the years they spent bickering at each other.

“And confiscated your shipments.” She added with a cocky grin.

“Right, I know you enjoy cuffing me to the bed.” He smirked sexily.

She was about to skip dessert when he told her that she’s eating for two.

The couple talk for another half an hour then he walked her back to the master bedroom.

She knows she didn’t have many personal belongings, never felt the need to accessorize her apartment. Karla imagined that it must’ve been a very short moving day for Margot. And she has nothing to hide anymore, but then she remembered about the burner phone which Ardian gave her. She makes a mental note about checking her black travel bag for the phone.
