It has been a month. A month of just me and Madi. We have gained a trust that I never expected. She stays with me by choice now. I haven’t had to lock the door in two weeks. Probably before then, but I stopped two weeks ago. We have even gone out and exercised. Let our wolves out to run. I know that we can return to the pack house but neither of us really wants to. I wrap both my arms around her. “Oh, my God baby. There is no way I could feel any more strongly about a person. Each day it gets stronger. You are perfect for me. I don’t think there is a way that anyone else could be more perfect. I need you baby.” I rub my hands along her back. Can’t she see how perfect she is.

She pulls back from me. “I think I should get dressed.” She doesn’t look me in the eyes.

As she reaches the door I call her. “You’re going to see, baby. I am your mate.” I have never been so sure of something in my life. She leaves me alone in my room. I want to chase after her, try to get her to agree with me. But maybe she needs time, time to see that I am right. I know I am right. I don’t want to keep waiting for what I know.
