Chapter 55
Chapter 55
With Karin causing a scene, it was now 5:30 pm.
“There’s not much time left,” he reminded Vivian. “Ms. Seymour’s makeup…”
Vivian immediately got Larissa onto the high stool.
“I will start now!”
Vivian only did a light makeup look for Larissa. She said, “Ms. Seymour is a natural beauty, so excessive touch–ups are not needed. All she needs is a little powder to enhance her complexion, and she’s good to go.”
Kevan nodded in agreement with her statement.
Larissa started blushing again–in other words, his nod meant that he was complimenting her.
Parting Larissa’s long hair in the middle, Vivian brushed it all behind her head, gathering it all into a low bun.
“This exposes her neck and shoulders. Her neck and shoulder lines are already perfect, and there’s no need for jewelry for emphasis–As a matter of fact, I think wearing jewelry will detract from the overall effect.”
Kevan said, “Very well; leave out the jewelry then.”
Larissa said nothing. Right now, she was a mannequin that they could manipulate however they wanted. At any rate, it was fine as long as Kevan was satisfied with the
results.
Vivian put down the tools in her hand. “That’s right!” she exclaimed. “We still need a pair of shoes for Ms. Seymour!” Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
Larissa’s clothes were the kind that could be easily donned or removed. Her shoes were shallow slip– ons, and were naturally unsuited for the banquet–not to mention the fact that they did not match the elegant dress that she was wearing.
The shoes were all on the second floor. Larissa reported her foot size, and Vivian prepared to head down and pick her a pair.
“I’ll go.” Kevan reached out and blocked Vivian’s way, which surprised both Vivian
and Larissa.
But Vivian recovered quickly and she said, “Of course! You have a good eye, Mr. Rogers. You should have better taste than I do.”
“Yes! We are,” she quickly replied.
Kevan gave her a cool look before putting his hands in his pockets and taking the lead. Larissa followed.
Vivian was waiting for them in the fitting room on the third floor. The empty table was now laden with a massive makeup chest alongside a hairdryer, hair curler, and other hair styling tools.
When she saw Kevan, her eyes gleamed with desire as she fervently wished she could snap pictures of him using her phone so that she could upload them to the studio’s official Twitter account.
She really wanted to show off to the others as well as share how amazingly handsome he was.
But she knew that it was best not to do something dangerous like that.
“Does it fit?” She moved over to ask Kevan, who only gave a grunt of affirmation in return. That disappointed Vivian, because she wanted to take the opportunity to feel him up during the alteration process.
Kevan glanced down at his watch.
