Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 445

Chapter 445

After Jack returned, he spent two days deep in thought before launching another passionate pursuit for

Molly. However, he had to pretend that he was unaware of her true identity as Molly. This way, it would

be more believable that his feelings for her were genuine.

He was not pursuing Molly, but Jade!

Jack was no longer the same man he was when he first returned. Living with his mother day in and day

out had filled his heart with schemes and deceit.

Leo spent a while chatting with Jack in the lobby. After a moment, Leo stood up and said, “Just a piece

of advice. Don’t lose more than you can afford.”

He went upstairs, found Molly’s office area, and called out at the door, “Jade, let’s go home.” This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

The office staff turned to look at the handsome man who had come to pick up Molly. He was another

heartthrob.

“Wow, Molly, this guy is so good-looking. He could even compete with our boss’ son,” teased her

colleagues.

Molly joked, “Get lost. This is not some random guy. This is my family’s big loser.”

She walked over and asked her reliable nephew, “Is he still in the lobby?”

“No matter if he is or not, just follow me out. I want to see if he dares to snatch a woman from me.” Leo

was not one to play the dandy. If he wanted to, no one in the country would dare to claim to be a

playboy in front of him.

A playboy is unreasonable and violent.

In the lobby, Jack was still there. He wanted to approach and talk to Molly.

Leo stopped in his tracks, staring at Jack with a wicked smile on his face. He was becoming more and

more like his uncle. He stood there, and stared at Jack. His smile was not reaching his eyes, stopping

people in their tracks.

Molly got in the car, and Leo left as well.

Once in the car, Leo said, “He probably knows you’re Molly now.”

“How did he find out?”

Leo shook his head. “Where’s Chad?”

“Can’t get a hold of him.”

Leo thought, “Yeah, if Chad could be contacted, it wouldn’t be my turn to warn Jack.”

When they got back to the Cedillo family house that night, Leo told Molly, “I’ll be picking you up and

dropping you off from work from now on.”

“What if Jack continues to follow me?”

“Mia can hit him with her car.”

“Who am I supposed to hit?” A curious voice drifted over. It was Mia. Her hands were covered in

dough. Heavily pregnant, she looked around curiously.

Leo and Molly were taken aback, startled by Mia.

“Mia, what are you doing with your hands like that?” Molly asked, looking at her friend.

Mia pointed towards the kitchen. “I’m trying to cook.”

Leo said, “Who are you cooking for?”

“My husband.”

Leo said, “So you want to become a widow so soon?”

Mia raised her hand and slapped Leo’s new clothes with it.

“Mia, these are my new clothes! If your dough sticks to it, it won’t come off when I wash it.” Leo

shouted. After saying that, he rushed upstairs to change his clothes.

Mia said, “I didn’t even pull your hair. Consider yourself lucky.”

Leo had already returned to his room. He yelled down to Mia in the living room, “Mia, you owe me new

clothes.”

“You said if I cook, people would die. I’ll prove you wrong today. Leo, you better watch closely.”

“Put your those thing you call hands away. Stop wasting food. Just be a rich wife.” Leo shouted from

upstairs.

Mia paused, and then asked Molly, “What does he mean by that?”

Molly explained, “Leo is saying your hands are like feet.”

Hearing this, Mia got even more angry. She shouted, “Leo, you better not come downstairs today.”

“Whose dog keeps barking?” A voice shouted from upstairs.

The Cedillo family’s living room was lively, to say the least. Despite the children’s bickering, the elders

seemed to be enjoying it.

The entire living room and even the front and back yards could hear the constant bickering between the

two. It was clear that Leo was winning this round.

Hansen handed his walking stick to Mia. “Mia, here’s a piece of advice from your dad. Hide behind the

staircase, and wait for Leo to come down and hit him over the head.”

Mia reached out to grab it, but Hansen saw her hands were covered in dough. He immediately stepped

back. “You go wash your hands first.”

Looking at her hands, Mia huffed, “I’m going back to cook.”

After saying that, she went back to the kitchen. Molly, curious about what was happening, followed her.

When Andre returned home, he looked around but couldn’t find his wife, who was usually the first to

greet him.

“Dad, is Mia hiding again and I need to find her?” Andre asked, understanding his playful wife’s nature.

Hansen pointed towards the kitchen. “Your wife is in there, busier than our own chefs.”

Andre smiled and headed towards the kitchen. Once inside, he saw his beautiful pregnant wife

surrounded by people.

The dough on the chopping board was unidentifiable - it could be a bun, a bread roll, or a muffin.

Andre walked over and gently called out, “Mia?”

Mia turned around. Her belly and face were covered in flour. Her hands were also covered in flour and

dried dough.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m cooking for you. Honey, you need to leave for now. I’ll call you when it’s ready.”

Andre, worried, grabbed her wrist, intending to pull her out of the kitchen.

Mia resisted, “Just half an hour more. I’ve been busy all afternoon. Don’t make me quit now. You leave.

Go on.”

She nudged him out of the kitchen, careful not to get flour on him, but some still ended up on his back.

Andre left, with a bit of flour stuck to his back.

Hansen stood behind him, helping him brush off the flour. “You were only in there for a bit. How did you

get flour all over yourself?”

Andre was touched. “It’s alright. Dad, you don’t need to brush it off.”

Leo felt sorry for his new clothes and wanted to argue with Mia the moment he saw her.

An hour later, the dinner Mia prepared was ready.

The Cedillo family dinner: steamed buns, pan-fried buns, roasted buns, boiled and fried.

Soup pairing: bun soup.

Leo asked, “What’s the filling?”

“Any kind you can think of,” Mia replied.

Leo said, “The Majestic Dining Enclave should be open until midnight, right?”

Hansen replied, “Seems like it.”

Naomi said, “Forget about the Majestic Dining Enclave. Let’s eat at home and try the buns Mia made

for the first time.”

Andre picked up one first, tasted it, made sure it was all right, and then let his wife eat.

Andre was the first to eat, followed by Naomi.

Molly said, “Mia, Andre and Naomi really love you with all their hearts.”
