Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 425

Chapter 425

Mia watched as Holly vanished from her sight. Unable to enter through the front gate, she could only

seethe in frustration inside the car. She then looked at Tom, who had started talking to Molly.

“Strange, how did Tom hurt his hand?” Mia noticed the bandage wrapped around Tom’s palm, raising

some questions. “Who hurt him?”

Andre was racing to the hospital. He was driving recklessly, heading towards the maternity hospital.

The hospital’s parking lot was crowded with vehicles.

Molly and Tom were facing each other. Her gaze was fixed on Tom’s eyes, unflinching, unabashed.

Tom answered her earlier question, “It was just a hospital mix-up. Are you really going to keep nagging

me about it?”

Molly gritted her teeth. “You surely have a knack for forgetting. Is it because I look so different from

when I was a kid that you can’t recognize me?”

Tom instantly became alert. “What do you mean?”

“You have forgotten about what happened sixteen years ago, but I haven’t!”

Tom squinted his eyes. Sixteen years ago? Did she remember?

Molly didn’t dare to say much. More words meant a higher chance of a slip-up.

Tom glared at Molly. “What are you babbling about?”

Molly said, “You should know what I mean. Tom, you can’t escape from this. My brother is already

heading to arrest Finley with the police. Aren’t you curious how I regained my memory? You should

thank yourself for that.”

Tom became panicked when he heard about Finley’s arrest. Did she really regain her memory? His

gaze at Molly was no longer hidden. There was a hint of ruthlessness in his eyes. He clenched his fists.

Both Mia and Leo, who were watching from the car, were sweating nervously.

Despite Tom’s guard, Molly managed to lead him by the nose. “You appeared in front of me, and your

leaf tattoo triggered my memory. Tom, you didn’t expect that, did you? You can’t escape from this. With

Finley arrested, it’s about time you, the watchdog, step down.” Molly knew clearly that she couldn’t

mention things she didn’t know about. If things didn’t add up, all her efforts would be wasted.

She was tricking Tom into believing that she regained her memory, even deliberately mentioning Finley

to provoke him, forcing him to reveal his cards.

This gambit was a huge gamble, but it actually worked. Tom impulsively grabbed Molly’s hair and

pressed her against the car, gritting his teeth. “Sixteen years ago, I should’ve killed you and dumped

you in the sea. Molly, you should’ve died sixteen years ago, just like Andre.”

Molly’s scalp throbbed painfully, as if chilli powder was sprinkled onto a wound. It was so painful that

she gasped. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

He admitted it! It was really him!

Molly, enduring the pain on her head, started to laugh. “I don’t think I’ve told you that my name is

Molly!”

Tom frowned, looking at the cunning girl.

If she remembered everything, why did the police go after his boss first instead of him? He was the one

who carried out the deed back then.

Why did she suddenly appear at the hospital to block his way today? It seemed like a premeditated

plan, like she was waiting for him.

Why did she suddenly appear alone to tell him that she regained her memory? Shouldn’t reporting to

the police be the first thing to do after regaining her memory?

All of these made Tom realize why Molly was laughing. He quickly reached into Molly’s pocket and took

out her phone. It was recording.

Seeing her phone being taken away, Molly immediately shouted, “Leo, the phone!”

Leo pushed open the car door and rushed out. Knowing that he couldn’t fight Tom, he still rushed

forward to protect his aunt.

Mia also wanted to go, but she thought of Naomi’s plight. She looked down at her belly. She couldn’t

gamble, because she couldn’t afford to lose.

Leo and Molly were no match for Tom. Mia couldn’t just sit and wait. She opened the car door, got out,

and shouted into the air, “Holly, why are you here?”

Tom turned to look at the gate, but there was no one. At that moment, Leo managed to snatch the

phone and tossed it to Molly.

Tom turned to look at the pregnant Mia. For a moment, the hatred in his heart became intense. The

pain in his palm was something he could never forget! It was given to him by her husband, Andre. Up

to this day, his palm still hurt occasionally.

He couldn’t hold back his hatred for Andre. When he saw Mia, he thought of a way to get his revenge.

He clenched his fist, walking towards Mia.

Molly rushed forward to stop him.

Mia saw him coming and took several steps back. The knife in her hand was ready. For the first time,

she was this close to danger. The fear was evident in Mia’s eyes.

The moment his fist was about to hit Mia, Molly shielded her.

...

Molly’s head was ringing. It was as if her brainwaves were emitting a buzzing sound, or like the eerie

sound in a hollow void. A blow to her head made everything around her sound hollow, as if everything

became quiet, or blurred. Her vision blurred. She couldn’t stand steadily and crashed into a car.

In a flash, she was back to that evening. The wind was strong and the waves were high.

A girl, covered in blood that wasn’t hers but her brother’s. Wearing a princess dress, she looked like a

princess in distress. She was standing on a reef, with the sound of the waves in her ears.

“Throw her down. Let her be lost to the sea.” Those words were spoken by an old man.

The person who executed the order had a leaf tattoo on his arm, and his face overlapped with Tom’s.

Molly was lying on the ground, watching Leo run towards Mia.

Molly seemed to be back to that night. She was young at that time. When she was thrown into the sea,

the waves repeatedly pushed her against the rocks, and then pulled her back into the vast sea. She

yelled “Mom, Dad”, but as soon as she opened her mouth, the waves filled her mouth and nose.

Several times, she felt suffocated and oppressed, unable to break free, until she passed out.

Before she blakced out, she saw Andre and Chad.

As her husband rushed towards her, Mia couldn’t suppress her fear and burst into tears. She rushed

into Andre’s arms, dropping the knife in her hand.

Chad crouched down to pick up his sister. “Molly, Molly?”

Molly’s hand was tightly gripping her phone, refusing to let go.

Tom was nowhere to be seen. The unconscious Molly didn’t know how panicked Chad was at that

moment. All she knew was that she felt safe smelling Chad’s scent.

Molly thought, “Chad, I know who the bad guy is now. You can proceed with your case without any

worries.”

...

When Molly woke up in the hospital room, her whole family was there.

Kendrick, Coleen, and her grandparents, Andre, Naomi... all of her loved ones were present in the

hospital room.

Mia’s eyes were swollen with tears, and Leo was steeped in guilt. Just moments before, Leo’s parents

had taken him aside to give him a stern talking-to.
