Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 55

Happy reading….

“Remember something?” asked Haidar with a smile.

“Y-you….” Hera’s voice was caught in her neck with her mouth and eyes wide open as she stared at Haidar.

“It turns out that God answered my prayer,” said Haidar. “Although a little late,” he continued, shrugging his shoulders with a small chuckle. It’s like laughing at his fate which if you think back on it is quite funny.

Hera was silent. All the memories of that night rolled like pieces of a film that had just been connected to become a complete story. Hera really never thought that the man who was with her that night turned out to be Haidar. The silver haired man. After all, how did Hera know that the man was Haidar because now Haidar’s hair was black.

The smile on Haidar’s face faded slowly when he saw Hera’s worried face. Like she wasn’t happy with the reality she had just remembered.

“Hera, you’re good—” Haidar’s words were cut off when his hand that was on Hera’s shoulder was pushed away firmly. She didn’t look at him anymore, got up from her seat and said, “I’m going in now.”

Without waiting for an answer, Hera immediately stepped into the house. In such a hurry that he disappeared quickly behind the door. Wrinkles are clearly visible on Haidar’s forehead. Confused by Hera’s attitude.

“What’s wrong? Why is Hera suddenly acting like that to me?” Haidar quietly thought.

‘Could it be that Hera was angry because of the kiss earlier?’ Haidar thought widening his eyes for a moment. He was sure Hera must be angry that he had kissed her presumptuously. However, Hera is still Jayden’s wife. Haidar shouldn’t have done that.NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

“Ah, damn it! Even though our relationship has just improved,” Haidar cursed as if scolding himself. He was so reckless and reckless. But Haidar is also not naive. That kiss made him very happy. Even because of that kiss he couldn’t wait to make Hera his own.

Haidar stared intently at Hera’s bedroom door. “I’d do anything to get you, Hera,” he muttered.

Meanwhile, Hera, who was in her room, was feeling extremely uneasy. If she could just disappear from this world right now, she would have done it.

“How am I going to face Haidar now?” muttered Hera in a frustrated tone. She’s really embarrassed. Although not very clear but more or less she can remember how bad he was that night.

“Aish, dammit!” he cursed jumping on the bed and buried her face in the mattress. In the midst of her turmoil, Hera remembered something. The woman touched her lips softly. She could still feel the soft texture of Haidar’s lips. Along with that, her heart suddenly thumped wildly. Hera felt even more awkward. She snorted softly.

“I’m like a teenage girl who has just hit puberty,” she mumbled sadly to herself. How not, Hera is twenty-seven years old and she also has a son. It didn’t seem right for her to feel this way again.

“Then I’ll say goodbye first.”

Hera heard Haidar’s voice. She got out of bed and walked slowly towards the bedroom door to hear the conversation from outside.

Haidar, who was right in front of Hera’s room, smiled.

“Why the rush? Do you have other business?” Andrew asked.

“Nothing. It’s just that it’s very late at night,” said Haidar giving a very classic excuse. He couldn’t possibly say if he wanted to go home because Hera had left him alone in the confusion.

“Ah, that’s right,” said Anne. “Then where is Hera? Why doesn’t she accompany you?”

“She took a break earlier. She said she was tired.” A lie that keeps both of them safe from questioning.

“All right, then… I will take Mr. Haidar,” said Andrew to his wife. The woman just nodded slowly as she watched the departure of her husband and Haidar.

Hera, who had been listening to their conversation for some reason, felt disappointed. Haidar just left? Without any intention of persuading her?

“Tsk!” Hera squeaked annoyed for no reason. The woman sat back down on the edge of the bed, folding her arms across her chest.

Not long after, there was a knock on Hera’s door.

“Hera?” called Anne after opening the door to the daughter’s room.

Hera just smiled faintly as their irises met.

“Are you all right?” asked Anne sitting beside the daughter with a worried look.

“Just feeling a little tired, Mom,” Hera replied with a faint smile.

Anne thought that Hera must be exhausted from her divorce from Jayden. Not completely wrong either. The issue of Hera and Jayden’s divorce really made Hera very tired. It is not an easy matter to be able to file their divorce in court.

The middle-aged woman sighed softly as she continued to stare at Hera who just looked down avoiding eye contact with her mother. Anne pulled Hera’s body for a hug.

“I hope everything ends soon and you find your true happiness,” she whispered softly. There’s still guilt in that sentence. Hera also hugged her mother. She also raised the same hope.

Hera also wanted to get away from Jayden as soon as possible.

Jayden took a deep breath. He stared blankly at the document he had just received this morning.

“It turns out that Hera really wants a divorce,” Jayden muttered under his breath.

Yes, it was a summons for him to attend the first trial of his divorce from Hera in three days.

Jayden slammed the document roughly onto the table, got up from his seat and looked straight at the glass wall to the right of his study. He loosened his tie a little to reduce the tightness in his chest.

Until a knock on the door made his attention turn towards the door.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Jayden,” Roy said as soon as he entered Jayden’s room.

“Everything OK?” Jayden asked without wasting time.

Roy didn’t answer and instead continued his steps towards Jayden’s desk. Jayden’s position was not too far from his oversized chair, so he easily sat back down in the chair and reached for the document Roy handed him.

“We’ve taken care of everything according to your wishes, sir,” said Roy.

Jayden opened and read all the documents. The corners of his lips lifted to reveal the dimple on his left cheek. The man put the document on top of the divorce document. Looking at Roy with such a proud look.

“You’ve always been reliable, Roy,” Jayden said with a smirk on his face.

And if it’s been praised then Roy will only dare to look directly into Jayden’s sharp eyes. The man smiled sweetly and bowed politely.

“Thank you, sir,” he answered proudly.

For the second time Jayden rose from his seat. He grabbed the coat hanging behind him and put it on. Those sharp eyes glared at Roy. Jayden walked first followed by Roy behind him.

“Come on, Roy. We have a family to destroy.”
