Chapter 52
Happy reading….
Haidar was warmly welcomed by Hera’s family. He was being treated like an honored guest making Haidar feel a little uneasy. Although it is undeniable, the man is happy.
“Actually, you don’t have to be like this, Mr. Andrew,” said Haidar with dignity. As usual.
“Precisely if it wasn’t like this it would make me feel like I hadn’t sincerely apologized to you,” Andrew replied.
Haidar could clearly see how the middle-aged man looked so sorry for what had happened the last time they met.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
“It’s not your fault. We all just misunderstood because we fell for Jayden’s trap,” said Haidar, not wanting to make things worse.
“That’s right,” said Hera making Haidar unable to hide his sweet smile. “All this happened because of Jayden’s greed. But in the end it’s all exposed now. So there’s no one to blame anymore.”
“What’s important now is how Hera and Jayden’s divorce ends. So that my daughter doesn’t have to be stuck with that jerk again,” said Anne. She felt so guilty because she was the one who had really forced Hera to marry Jayden. Because Anne thought Jayden was the best man for Hera. But it turns out he was wrong. Anne was really disappointed.
“Of course. I will try not to make it difficult for you in court,” said Andrew, who only nodded her head in response to Hera. She was really happy because now his parents were by her side again. Support all of Hera’s decisions.
After dinner, Hera invited Haidar to sit in the garden behind her house. Andrew had resolved his issues with Haidar and now it was Hera’s turn. In the garden there is a set of chairs and a table that Hera’s family used to relax while enjoying the cool night breeze.
“You feel better now?” asked Haidar turning to Hera who was now sitting beside him.
“Maybe after my divorce with Jayden is over, then I can feel better, Haidar,” Hera replied with a faint smile.
“I hope everything goes smoothly and according to plan,” said Haidar, smiling faintly.
Silence fell for a few moments. Both Hera and Haidar were lost in their own thoughts as they looked up at the sky that was so bright tonight. Even the full moon shone brightly with twinkling stars.
“Thank you for all your help so far, Haidar,” said Hera without taking her eyes off the night sky.
“You’re welcome. I did all these things anyway so you could get away from Jayden so I could make you mine.” Haidar is like that. What is in his mind he will immediately say without thinking. It doesn’t matter if it will hurt or make you blush. Like how Hera felt now.
She had repeatedly heard the words of love from Haidar’s mouth but this time something was a little different. Uncontrollably, Hera’s heart beat faster than normal, making her cheeks heat up.
Looking down shyly, Hera mumbled softly, “You still haven’t given up, have you?”
Haidar turned to Hera. “Why should I give up? When the door is wide open for me,” he said confidently. “You will part with Jayden, your parents also like me just waiting for you to love me.”
Hera chuckled softly at Haidar’s words.
“You don’t believe me? Should I ask your parents directly?” Haidar said making Hera grab his hand unconsciously.
“No need,” said Hera, shaking her head. “I could see it earlier. How my father and mother looked at you. They really like you, Haidar,” she continued making Haidar’s heart warm as a blush spread across his cheeks.
Haidar returned the grip of Hera’s hand making the woman suddenly feel nervous.
“Then when are you alone?” asked Haidar with a pitiful look. It turned out that the man’s pitiful gaze was more dangerous than his sharp gaze because it could make the heart instantly melt because it could not refuse.
But Hera held back as best she could. She should not be hasty in making decisions. It was enough that her relationship with Jayden ended on the divorce table. Hera didn’t want something like this to happen again.
Haidar, who realized Hera’s anxiety, slowly let go of the woman’s hand. Could he be pushing things a bit? It seems so.
“No need to answer,” said Haidar then not wanting to make the atmosphere more awkward. “I know it must be very difficult for you to trust again after this incident. But you know, Hera. I’m not like Jayden. I really love you sincerely. And I hope you can return my feelings someday.”
“I’m sorry, Haidar,” said Hera sounding so sorry.
“No need to apologize. I understand,” said Haidar. The words that made Hera stare into the man.
At first Hera smiled sweetly but gradually that smile faded.
‘Why does Haidar look familiar? I feel like I’ve seen it before but where?’
The feeling is back. The same feeling when Hera first met Haidar. Even though Hera already knew that they had met before at the exhibition, Hera still felt that if that was not the meeting Hera meant.
“Haidar?” Hera called making the man turn to look at her.
“What is it?” asked Haidar slowly.
“Are you sure we never met after that cast?”
Haidar smirked. His eyes never left Hera. Even Hera didn’t realize that their faces were so close. Until Hera could inhale the scent that was so distinctive from Haidar’s body. Sweet Vanilla.
“You think? Do you think we’ve met before?” Instead of giving Haidar an answer it made Hera even more curious about his figure.
Hera nodded slowly. “I don’t know. I don’t know but I feel like we met before that night’s party.”
Haidar chuckled. His hand gently gripped the back of Hera’s hand making the master flinch a little but did not push the big hand away.
Haidar’s hand went wild and swept Hera’s hand up to her neck and stopped at the woman’s nape.
“Maybe we’ve met before, Hera.”
And in the third second Haidar had dropped his thin lips on top of Hera’s thicker ones. Hera rolled her eyes looking at Haidar who closed his eyes as if he was enjoying the meeting of their lips.
Hera could have pushed Haidar’s body away but what happened was Hera let Haidar’s lips start to move and suck on her lips.
Unlucky! It was so delicious that Hera was finally lulled by the arms that slowly wrapped around Haidar’s neck. While Haidar’s hand pulled Hera’s waist to get closer to her.
They kissed long enough that their chest cavities felt tight because the oxygen supply was running low. The two of them let go of the hug and stared at each other in silence, gasping for air.
“Remember something?” asked Haidar smiling meaningfully.
“Y-you….”
