Start With An Unexpected Affair

Veronica try not to make big deal out of her morning sickness, careful not to annoy Kyler, forgiving her infidelity was enough but then he also decide to accept the baby growing inside her as his own.

After that incident, Veronica realize how much of a bitch she has been, giving herself an unreasonable reason to cheat on him. He is a good man and she’s ready to make it up to him and at all cost end the relationship with Conrad.

She got up from the bed and check the time on her phone, it’s past midnight and Kyler isn’t back. Worried, she got down ignoring the tiredness she’s feeling to phone him

The phone rings at the other end but it cut off with no response, she tried again but still the same answer. Feeling impatient, she think to call Alex but the sound of Kyler’s car made her stop and she smile in relieve.

Even though he forgave her and didn’t ask anything about the man she had been with, he seems to be avoiding her.

Unlike before, he rarely talk with her, neither do he touch her and most times, he stay out so late.

Veronica quickly put on a robe over the open lace nightie she is wearing and rush downstairs to welcome him

she try not to hurry her steps on the stairs but just as she is about to reach the last stair her foot misses and she almost fall face flat.

Just in time Kyler swiftly caught her before the disaster could happen, Veronica wrap her hands around him and bury her face into his chest with her chest panting because of the shock.

Yasmin woke up from the sofa she slept off last night, her body feels strained and she knows better not to sleep there another time.

After a long while, the whole house is cleaned and everything is in place now unlike few hours back, Yasmin took a long bath and prepare a light breakfast to eat.

It’s just an hour more before lunch and eating much will only ruin lunch with him.

She check her messages for a while and try watching something to kill the remaining time, when it’s thirty minutes to lunch

she go to pick what to wear and in five minutes she’s putting on a lilac knee-length gown and decide to use a scarf.

She pick up a matching color but as she made to close the closet, she realize something is missing in the line of scarf

She wondered and try not to read much meaning to it. She check her phone and rush out not to be late

When she got outside the house, Mr. Bays’ car is already waiting for her and she slow down on her pace, she entered the front seat and smile when she see him

“Sorry I’m late” she apologize and he nodded

“Where are we going? Do you have a place in mind?’ she asked getting her seat belt

“You’ll see” he told him and smile, Yasmin also smile not sure what is it but let herself relax.

Kyler came down from the car and walk to the familiar car parked in front of him, when the person in saw him coming he came out to exchange pleasantries

“Good afternoon President Black” Thompson greeted

“What are you doing here?” he demandingly asked

“That will be me asking you, this is my employee’s house”

“Why will you come to your employee’s house?” he asked pissed at the answer he gave

“Because we have a special relationship” Thompson answered with a mischievous smile

“It seems like President Black also have something to do with my employee…isn’t that why you are here?”

“I’m sorry but I got a date with her today”

“who says she’s yours?”

Kyler walk angrily back to his car and told the driver to drive off, but when he ignite the car, he change his mind and watch instead

When Yasmin came out of the house and walk to the other car with a smile, Kyler felt pangs of jealousy and almost couldn’t resist the urge to go drag her into his car

His fist tightened in a punch and he ask the driver to also drive out as the other car leaves, the unbearable feeling of her being with another man made him so furious.
