Chapter 143 Call the Police if You Have the Guts To
"Very well, I will inform Miss Evans for you." NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
The receptionist found Hattie and explained the situation to her.
Hattie frowned in response. "What should we do now? Gwenda's going on set with Alisha, she won't be
coming here."
"Just call Miss Evans, Hattie. I think this woman is not to be trifled with."
The receptionist said in a low voice.
"No, Gwenda's schedule's packed and none can be delayed. I've got to find a way to get rid of her."
After careful consideration, Hattie finally decided to meet the woman in person.
...
Hattie walked into the reception room and asked, "Ma'am, may I ask who you're looking for?"
Arely had been waiting for at least an hour but she still did not see Gwenda, and was thus very irritable.
"Is this how Gwenda asks you to entertain me? I've been waiting for an hour! Where is she?"
"My apologies, ma'am. Miss Evans has gone out for business and won't be coming to the studio today.
If you wish to find her, you can call her phone or make an appointment with me."
"What?"
Arely leapt up from her seat when she heard this. "I need to make an appointment to see her?! How
dare she!"
Hattie had never seen anyone so loud before. She was so startled by it that she nearly covered her
ears.
"I don't care. I will see her today!"
Arely said angrily, "Where is Gwenda's office? I will wait for her there. I don't believe that she won't see
me."
With that, she rushed out of the reception room.
Seeing this, Hattie gave chase. "Ma'am, ma'am... You can't enter Miss Evans' office!"
"I am her aunt! Why can't I go in there?"
Refusing any form of reason, Arely was set on barging into the office.
Hattie hurriedly stopped her. "Ma'am, please calm down!"
"Get out of my way!"
Arely continued her infuriating behaviour.
When the other employees of the studio saw this, they ran over to stop her as well, but failed.
Seeing that Arely was about to succeed in her endeavour, Hattie had no choice but to say, "Alright,
alright! I will contact Miss Evans for you. Please calm down, ma'am."
Seeing that her plan was successful, Arely stopped and glared at Hattie, huffing, "Hurry up! I'll give her
20 minutes. If she exceeds this time period, I will not remain so pleasant!"
Hattie had never seen someone so savage like her. She was afraid that Arely may do something crazy,
so she could only call Gwenda.
"Gwenda, there's a person calling herself your aunt here in the studio. She made a ruckus the moment
she got here, saying that you have to get back within 20 mintues or she would barge into your office to
wait for you. What do we do?"
At this time, Gwenda was on set with Alisha while the latter worked. When she heard the news,
Gwenda's face darkened and she said, "I can't go back."
"Then... we're just going to let her be?"
"Call the police."
"What?"
Hattie was stunned. "Call the police?"
"Yes, if she keeps making trouble, just call the police and let them deal with it."
Gwenda said calmly.
"But..."
"Don't worry. When the police gets here, she'll naturally leave."
Gwenda did not want to meet someone like Arely.
Hearing this, Hattie remained silent for a while before saying, "Okay, I'll try to figure it out."
"Good, let me know at once if there's a problem."
"Okay."
After ending the call, Hattie turned around and went back.
Seeing Hattie's return, Arely thought that she had settled the issue and smiled smugly. "All done? Is
she willing to come back now? Humph, as if she could hide from me!"
"Ma'am, please go back."
Hattie interrupted her with a fake smile. "Miss Evans is unable to see you today."
"What?"
Arely immediately returned to her violent state. "She said so?"
"That's right! She told me to call the police if you continue to make trouble."
"Call the police??"
Arely was enraged and she shouted angrily, "What is she trying to do! I am her aunt!"
Hattie pursed her lips and said nothing.
"Fine then! Call the police. Go on!"
