Spoiled by the Silver Fox

Chapter 502

Stephanie and Gillian exchanged a look, then said resignedly, "Ms. Snider, do you seriously believe that?"

"I'm not one for telling fibs... I've told you, I'm not like the others. Oh, and I helped out Sebastian last time when he was in a jam with the Ingram family... You should give me a chance, for your fiancee's sake." "You helped Sebastian? That time with the Ingram family?"

"Yes, at the Ingram family. Jaxon pressured Sebastian to make a choice. Only me, Angelina Peck, and Angela were invited to the Ingram family. Sebastian had to pick one, and he chose me, so I helped him out." At this point, Stephanie felt as if she had swallowed a fly.

How did she help? Did it happen the way she thought it would? So that's why Silver Fox came back to find her so late that day.

"Sorry, Ms. Snider, I'm not interested! Gillian, let's bounce!"

Gillian, having heard their conversation, was completely baffled.

As Stephanie dragged her towards the banquet hall, she still wore a look of confusion.

Caroline Snider, seeing her brush-off, looked disappointed.

Oh well.

Making friends always comes down to fate.

She liked Ms. Bishop, but it seemed the feeling wasn't mutual.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

"Steph, what's going on?" Gillian couldn't help but ask.

Stephanie took a deep breath and said, "Gillian, I'm fine."

"But you seem off..."

"I'm really fine! Today is Maddie's birthday; we should be happy and not spoil her mood... Come on, there seem to be lots of yummy food over there!"

"Alright, we haven't had dinner yet; let's go grab something good to eat!"

Stephanie was bitter inside, but she couldn't let it show.

She didn't want Gillian and Maddie to worry.

Soon, Maddie, having finished her task, came over looking glum and said, "Putnam just texted me. He said he can't make it today."

Stephanie gave a wry smile and said, "If he can't, then he can't. We're here with you; isn't that enough?"

"But... my biggest birthday wish is

for Putnam to be here... to celebrate with me, to blow out the candles

together Steph, today is my 20th e

birthday-such an important

day and the person I like isn't here.

It seems like something's missing."

"Oh, come on, it's your birthday, and we should be happy! Look at Steph; she's so understanding. She's been mocked by so many people, but she didn't talk back because of your birthday!"

Maddie, moved by this, said, "I know.

Steph has Mr. Ingram; she's not

afraid of anything! She would've

talked back before, but she didn't

because of me. Gillian, Steph, I'm so lucky to have you guys!"

"Dope... cheer up! It's your birthday!"

"Yeah, I'll be happy! Come on, I'll show you my room! I redecorated it, and it's beautiful. You haven't seen it yet!"

Her room was princess-style, pink-themed, with all new furniture, satisfying all their girly dreams!

Gillian and Stephanie were both gobsmacked.

This girl clearly came from a wealthy family; their wealth was substantial. The renovation of this room alone must've cost a million.

"Gillian, I've had some food sent up

for you guys; I know you're not used to the outside. There are a lot of annoying people out there; just wait for me here. After the banquet, you guys can stay over!"

"Alright, you go do your thing! You're the star today; you can't be sticking around with us all the time."
