Chapter 10: A mysterious girl
Realizing that there was something in his eye that made Zane lose his sight, he raised his hand to touch it, then he was startled to find that it was a bandage wrapped around his eye. Shocked, Zane threw his arms up in the air, shouting.
“Where is this? Is anyone there? ”
The door opened, and the girl in medical uniform entered, seeing its start, spoke to safety.
“You’re awake!”
Zane said Hearing stopped the action at the nurse’s locator.
“Who is she? This is where? ”
Zane investigated as soon as someone entered, he heard a soft click as he closed the door.
“You don’t remember last night? This is the disease. ”
The nurse answered as she pulled the curtain. According to the feedback, when there is light in the room, even though he can’t see it, he can feel it.
“My eyes?” Zane listened anxiously, he really didn’t know what was going on, he couldn’t see anything. When he brought his hand up to his eyes, something blocked his vision.
“Your boy can’t see for the time being.” The nurse said: “The doctors have put a lot of effort into handling all the work from your eyes. Your eyes will recover soon, don’t worry.”
Zane let out a sigh, he had to work through his brain to process the information that was received into his brain. After a while, Zane suddenly remembered that he should calm down. Zane was reminiscing about yesterday in silence. A lineup.
“Whoa! Where’s your girlfriend? ”
The sudden question jolted Zane awake, clearly seeing the confusion when he heard the nurse speak.
“Who?”
Zane asked innocently.
“You were taken to the hospital, right, girlfriend?”
Bewildered, tilted somewhere as if I remembered, it was true that someone brought it here. But you girl, the body is not like that.
Watching, the nurse smiled faintly at her confusion. Zane could see a slight smile on the nurse’s lips.
“What are you laughing at?”
Zane strangely wanted to know so he asked.
“A strange girl.”
The nurse replied and went to the bedside to check on his wound.
“What do you mean?”
Zane still hasn’t stopped being curious.
“Did you know that girl donated blood for you and paid for the hospital bills? I thought it was your girlfriend. Who would have thought not.”
The nurse said with an affectionate smile that any patient would get from them. It was a warm smile. Zane just remained silent as if thinking.
“There are very few good people these days. The girl from last night was right…” A sign of admiration and laughter at the same time benevolent kindness, and honesty should not be exaggerated.
A comment from the nurse regained his attention. An involuntary smile appeared on his lips at the memory of the sweet voice.
‘Are you okay?’ Then the feeling when that girl’s hand lightly touched him. Remembering made him shiver slightly. Suddenly he opened his mouth to ask.
“Do you know who she is?”
Zane really wants to see that girl again, he finds it curious and above all, to repay the favor.
“Unfortunately not.” The girl shook her head: “We don’t have any information about her. She didn’t sign her name on your admission papers.”
The real answer left Zane at a loss. There’s a little bit of regret. I saw him suddenly quiet and contemplative. The nurse also stopped asking questions and quietly completed the task.
His wound has been examined. The girl gathered her things and turned to the door. Before leaving, do not forget to remind him that the doctor will come in a moment.
The door closed, leaving him alone with his thoughts. Zane analyzes and depicts the events that happened yesterday. He wanted to know who the culprit was and above all about the mysterious girl. Having a feeling of doubt, he was startled by his discovery. Is the girl at the dance and the girl who saved him the same person? When comparing both the voice and the feeling when the two hands make contact are the same.
Feelings can be deceiving and voices can be the same for anyone. A difficult problem to solve.
…
The empty room momentarily gathered a lot of handsome men. After receiving a call from the hospital, all the student council members rushed to the hospital to meet him.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
“So who do you think did this?” The question came from the vice-president Neil.
“I’m sure I’ve seen him before, but I can’t remember right now.” Zane vaguely remembered the masked man: “It was dark and he was wearing a mask. Not to mention my vision was limited.”
“Then it’s hard, everyone knows he could be anyone.” Corbin came to a dejected conclusion.
“Why do you say that?” A question from Arlo, who was considered to be a fool, who was sitting and chewing delicious tangerines in his mouth.
“There are a lot of people who don’t like Zane, one of them is the one who caused this,” Roly answered Arlo’s question. Arlo showed surprise after hearing the answer. Obviously, he’s the carefree type, so he doesn’t usually pay attention to such trivial things. Maybe it’s because he’s the principal’s son that he can sit here? Someone’s thoughts, but in the end, Arlo is someone with special abilities. He can manipulate others and is a good man, always available when his friends need him. It is the strength that compensates for the other disadvantages.
“What are you planning to do now?” Neil asked after silently analyzing something: “We need a plan.”
“On leave!” Zane casually replied without thinking: “This is a rare opportunity, of course, I have to take advantage of it.”
“And you leave things to us to handle?” Neil looked disgruntled, he jumped up from his chair to look at him, but then became speechless, at the publicly evasive silence.
At this moment, the door opened, attracting everyone’s attention. Liam walked in holding something very interesting.
“Look what I found at the crime scene,” Liam said with sarcasm, a little disappointed as he entered the room.
They all looked at what Liam was holding in his hand. The reason for the latter’s presence. Liam visited the scene according to what Zane said on the phone. Of course, everyone was surprised except he calmly received the information, Zane simply couldn’t see what it was.
