“Alex, why didn’t you tell me you were coming here? I thought you were going to marry Kate? Why are you still holding your ex-wife? Are you planning to rekindle the old flame? Or are you planning to marry both?” Flynn raised an eyebrow and asked.

Alex glanced at him dismissively, too lazy to answer his barrage of questions. “Instead of helping me properly arrange the wedding, you’re here gallivanting. Besides, your men almost killed me. What do you have to say about that?”

Flynn wrapped his arm around Alex’s shoulder, grinning as he said, “We’re good friends. Do you need to be so hard on me? Besides, I’ve already had someone teach Frank a lesson. All right, let’s just let this matter rest. Come on, let’s have a drink. Consider it my way of apologizing to you.”

Alex pushed Flynn’s hand away and said, “I’m not interested in drinking now. Kate is still waiting for me in the private room. Let’s have a drink later. Just don’t beg me to let you off then.”
