Phoenix’s eyes were narrowed as he stared deep at Knight whom he had always despised.

Knight nodded lazily as he rough handled Amelia who was quiet all through.

“Yes really surprised, you must have put in enough efforts into making this a very huge surprise, I feel honored!” Knight’s cold eyes met with that of Phoenix and they sent thunders at each other with those freezing gazes.

“You were just too stupid to notice a flaw since you are blinded by your taste and hunger for power!” Alexander smirked as he held the pistol in his hand tightly.

Meanwhile at the mansion, Amelia felt more unease as she kept changing positions and pacing around the room.

She didn’t want to obstruct anything as she only held her phone waiting for that phone call….

That very phone call that could make her racing heart calm down.

She bite on her lips after a while, she checked her phone for any emails or missed calls even if she had placed a ringtone to notify her when she gets a message or call and the fact that the phone was with her.

“Good lord…” Amelia muttered as she felt her chest tighten.

She sat on the couch in the living room, the maids were not seen around the place as they could study the atmosphere.

They’ve experienced such even if they came after a while.

Amelia stood up from the couch again when she held her phone vibrate, she could have just seen the message while sitting but due to the anxiety, she didn’t know when she stood up to check the message.

She held the phone and turn it on to see if it was a message from Alexander and to her dismay, it was a message from istagram.

This was too disgusting as she slumped on the chair with a groan.

She opened her eyes and looked up at the ceiling.
