Sold To The Mafia Lord

Their Hopes Were Dashed

“Sir Knight we have to quickly leave the building! We detected bombs around the place.” A subordinate of Knight quickly reported to knight as Knight immediately frowned as he walked out in hurried footsteps.

“Damn it!! Can’t defuse it??!!” Knight barked as he hurried out of the warehouse “you all are bunch of nonentities and incompetent Imbeciles!!”

Knight stormed out of the warehouse, a place he cherished deeply, with Grey following closely behind. His face contorted with anger and frustration as he watched the men inside quickly evacuating the building. The sight only intensified his resentment towards Alexander, who seemed to have once again orchestrated a situation that forced them to abandon their territory.

As Knight climbed into the car, his voice was cold and filled with disdain. “Alexander has done it again,” he spat. “He always takes pleasure in making me leave my domain. It’s no surprise he left without a second thought. He had already carried out his plans without our knowledge or consent.”

Grey’s fists clenched tightly as he recalled the time when Alexander had forced them to flee the country, subjecting them to a life of hardship and struggle. Now, he had succeeded in uprooting them from their sanctuary once more. The hatred Grey harbored towards Alexander burned deep within him, unresolved and festering.

Knight, still seething with anger, clenched his fist and dialed a number, his voice a venomous mix of rage and desperation. “You fools! Have you completed the task? If you had done it properly, Alexander Ron wouldn’t dare to cause trouble for me! Don’t even think of returning to the warehouse. Stay where you are. Grey will come to collect all of you!”

A tremor of fear resonated in the voice on the other end of the line as they replied, “Sir, we completed the task smoothly!”

Those words began to restore a semblance of composure within Knight. The thought of Alexander brought to his knees, his face twisted in agony, brought a cold smile to Knight’s lips. He nodded grimly before abruptly ending the call. His narrowed eyes betrayed his deep contemplation as he descended into his thoughts.

Knight sat in silence, his mind a whirlwind of plans and strategies. Revenge was a dish best served cold, and he was determined to make Alexander pay for his i nterference. The weight of his anger settled upon him, fueling his determination to reclaim what was rightfully his. He knew he couldn’t let Alexander’s actions go unanswered; it would only embolden his rival further.

Grey, sitting next to Knight, could feel the intensity emanating from his companion. The bond between them ran deep, forged through countless trials and tribulations. Grey shared Knight’s burning desire for retribution. Alexander had disrupted their lives once too often, and now it was time to strike back.

As the car sped along the empty streets, scene described above captures Knight’s frustration with Alexander’s actions and his determination to retaliate. The interaction between Knight and Grey highlights their shared resentment towards Alexander, as well as their commitment to resolving the situation. The calm voice on the other end of the call suggests that the plan to deal with Alexander has been executed successfully, instilling a renewed sense of confidence in Knight.

Amelia and Travis were fully focused on their mission of breaking into the other party’s system. The tension in the room was palpable as they worked diligently to bypass the security measures.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the cyber battle, the hacker responsible for defending the system cursed under his breath, frustration evident in his voice. “This account is such a pain in the ass!” His eyes darted across the computer screen as he continued typing, his fingers moving with speed and precision. In a burst of anger, he slammed his hand down on the keyboard, expressing his annoyance.

Taking a moment to compose himself, the hacker took a sip of his fruit juice, his expression becoming colder as he studied the screen before him. “Let’s see how you’re gonna break through this new passcode!” he declared confidently. A chilling laugh escaped his lips, echoing through the otherwise silent room illuminated by dim red lights.

The setting itself was modest-a humble apartment that resembled a small studio. His belongings were scattered haphazardly across the room, a testament to the hacker’s solitary lifestyle. Wearing oversized glasses, he leaned in closer to the computer, eager to monitor any progress or potential threats.

Suddenly, his mood shifted dramatically. With a frustrated growl, he threw his munchies aside and leaned even closer to the screen, his eyes scanning the changing data. “Shit! Shit! Shit!!!” he exclaimed, his voice growing louder with each utterance.

The hacker’s screen began to flicker, the image turning hazy before ultimately going blank. Panic surged through him as he realized the severity of the situation. “I’m so done for!” he exclaimed, his voice trembling with fear. The thought of facing the wrath of Knight Cyrus, a formidable figure in their underground world, sent shivers down his spine.

Realizing that time was of the essence, the hacker hurriedly began packing up his belongings. He moved swiftly, cramming his computer and other equipment into a bag, not daring to waste a single second. The fear of the consequences that awaited him if he failed to defend the system weighed heavily on his mind, urging him to act with urgency. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.

Amelia let out a sigh of relief, a sense of accomplishment washing over her as she rose from the chair. “Finally!” she exclaimed, a mix of satisfaction and exhilaration evident in her voice. She walked over to Travis, who gave her a thumbs-up, acknowledging their successful collaboration. The two of them shook hands, sharing a moment of camaraderie.

Travis grinned playfully, breaking the tension in the room. “It was nice working alongside you!” he remarked, his tone lighthearted. Amelia chuckled in response, appreciating the positive energy he brought to the situation.

However, their moment of celebration was abruptly interrupted when Amelia suddenly felt a tickle in her nose, followed by a cough. A wave of realization washed over her as she remembered the dire circumstances they were in.

The fire had spread, and smoke had begun to fill the room.

Both Travis and Amelia swiftly sprang into action, their survival instincts kicking in. They raced towards the door, their hearts pounding in their chests. But as they reached the entrance, their hopes were dashed.

The doorway was engulfed in flames, blocking their path to safety…..
