Alexander remained quiet for a while as he looked at her with undivided attention.

Ash watched Alexander from the side, he’s changed after the ball.

It was just the four of them there, if Alexander could ask her such question in front of Ash, that’s to say, Ash was aware of their marriage condition.

“That’s the rule of the game Alex!” Amelia said, happy that Alexander won’t be able to continue to interrogate her.

George could feel the tension in the air, He was aware of Ash love for Alexander since they were little.

Why ask this question of all time and places?? George almost face palmed his face.

Ash stared at Alexander, she wasn’t this always petty but she had to know, she was confused at his behavior since yesterday, she had to get answers and know if her efforts are worth it.

Amelia looked at the side profile of the man sitting not too far from her.

Ash let a triumph smile emerged on her face as she rest her back on the chair and flashed Amelia a daring and Victorious smile.

Alexander looked at Amelia whose expression didn’t change even after hearing his words.

But then, his eyes fell on her hand under the table, it had turn white due to the clenching of it, her fist was looking so tight.

Alexander’s heart beat slowly, she was affected even so, that means she must have feelings for him right??

Alexander was a bit happy, but a bit sad that he caused Amelia to be so moody.

He couldn’t say it now, what if Amelia doesn’t love him?? What if he had misjudged her and confesses, and then she might become distant from him and things might turn awkward and ugly for them.

Amelia swallowed hard and breathed in and tried so hard to maintain her stoic face.

George cleared his throat “let’s begin please??” Ash nodded at him with a smile.

Amelia immediately frowned more deeply as she turn to her other side, Alexander was sitting at the other side of her and Ash was not too far as well.

Amelia felt the urge to puke.

She turn to look at the man who just spoilt and ruin her mood.

Amelia was so bitter, she was about to reach out for the Vodka when Alexander suddenly grabbed the vodka on the table.

Amelia looked at him, was he going to down a full bottle of vodka for her??

Amelia watched Alexander drop the drink on the ground and he said;

With that, Alexander’s lip captured Amelia’s lower lip in a kiss, he leaned on Amelia more and snaked his arms around her waist.

He kissed her lower lip before kissing the upper one, so slowly as if trying to get all the sweetness. Not wanting to miss any part of her taste.

Amelia’s eyes were just open, she couldn’t reciprocate his kiss as she was too stunned to even react but she felt him work in her lips like he owned it and it was his workshop.

Alexander licked Amelia’s lip slowly while wiping the remaining saliva on her mouth.
