Amelia sluggishly walk her way into the bedroom, seemingly tired, she suddenly remembered that she just came down from a plane few minutes ago, all the way from One continent to another continent.

She was beginning to feel the jet lag.

Alexander was just behind her, a bit dizzy and awake.

He had already told her all that happened with Mrs Gale and her family, not excluding the part where Ash was manhandled by him and also the so called ‘Mahogany’.

Amelia felt tired of all these shits but she knew they had to overcome all these and rest once and for all.

“I suddenly think we should do something!” Amelia said as she made her way to the door of the closet.

Alexander’s eyes darted around the room as he watch her head to the closet.

“What’s that??” Alexander asked as he balanced his back on the headboard, looking at her intently, she was always thinking and scheming.

She was his better half.

Amelia walk into the closet and didn’t come out for a while and Alexander twitched his brows as he waited for her to come out.

After a while, She came out tying a towel and she directly went to the bathroom door and stood close to it.

Alexander’s eyes trailed from her long and slender legs to her hips and her abdomen before his eyes joined together, wondering what was down below.

Amelia flushed feeling his eyes roam around her body, she wanted to go hide her head somewhere.

Alexander return his eyes to her face with a questioning gaze and that was when Amelia found her voice and said:

“I wanted to talk about the so called Knight Cyrus! he’s being too quiet these days, we shouldn’t give him the chance for them to revive and bounce back on their feet… I was thinking, How about we make them come out themselves cause this is getting too much and out of hand, we don’t know what might happen next…” Amelia suggested and Alexander return his gaze to her arm and a frown replaced his face.

She grabbed a chair close to the table and sat herself there.

She was staring back at Alexander to see if he valued what she had suggested and she saw a glint pass his eyes as he frown but rather said;

Alexander nodded “I know what you’re getting at but this is just day one and you haven’t had enough rest, just go and take a shower and let’s sleep, tomorrow we’ll worry about that!”he said it with a considerate voice and Amelia got the message.

Alexander’s upper lip raised up “We have scores to settle so…. go freshen up first!”

Amelia’s ear burn as it turn pink as her cheek felt itchy but not painful nor uncomfortable but rather sweet and ticklish.

The hairs on her arms stood erect as she immediately wanted to go hide her small head.

Amelia nodded and stood up from the chair and headed to the bathroom to take her bath and Alexander called from her back.

“Want me to come with you??” Alexander tried to break the tension he was feeling by teasing her but her face got so red that she immediately dashed into the bathroom and closed the door with a loud thud.

“Get out!!” Amelia small and shy voice that came as a shout came from the bathroom and Alexander suddenly burst out laughing.

“Still need some help??!” He called out again with a wide and sexy smile.

And a loud groan came from behind the bathroom door “To hell with you!”

Alexander smiled calmly, thinking when last he was this blissful.

He made a tight fist and made a resolve that he would protect this woman no matter the situation.

“I’ll protect you Amelia!” With that said he got up from the bed and head out of the room to his study.

Alexander took in all that Amelia had said and he was going to work on that, she gave him a glue and he was gonna perfect it.

Alexander opened the study door and went in, his phone was lying on the table so he grabbed it while sitting on the couch close to his usual table and chair that was near the window.

As he sat there, he first called George who immediately answered the phone.

“Alexander! What’s up men” George’s groggy voice came from the other side. When his wife woke up and turn to face him with a questioning look, he quickly planted a soft kiss on her forehead and got up from the bed.

His wife just rolled her eyes as she watched George leave the bedroom, she didn’t say any more words and slept off.

“I want you to replace all the guards and spies around My vicinity and the men stationed at the main entrance of Eastern land, discard them and bring in the armed men from Catalyst….” Alexander said this in one breath but his voice didn’t deteriorate in terms of Charisma.”And the maids at my house, bring just seven maids from California and the ones here, take them to the training camp and replace my parent’s maids with the most Hardworking and qualified Maids in the camp. I want you to do all this by….” Remembering what George grumbled about few days ago about him still being a married man, Alex’s eyes darted and he replaced his voice with a gentle tone, Meanwhile George was literally frowning as he wanted Alexander to complete his words and add that he should be done with it by tomorrow because Alexander loved that time and day called tomorrow.

“Well you can do it whenever you are chanced but it should be between this week, that’s all….” Alexander thought that if he was to be under someone and the person wakes him up in the middle of the night and gave him a very stressful task to finish by tomorrow which will cost him not to spend time with Amelia, he was definitely going to quit the job. But then again, George didn’t quit…::

Gorge was still stunned from the other end “What’s this Alexander?? You are trying to toy with me right?? You don’t want it done by tomorrow??”

Alexander rolled his eyes “Shut up! You can get it done by tomorrow if you like… Well..”Clearing his throat, Alexander said “Thank you George for the past few days!”

George almost threw his phone in shock.

Alexander imagined all sort of faces George would be making at the moment but he just wanted to say his mind.

“I appreciate it and good news…. Amelia Is finally back!” Alexander said with a profound smile but he didn’t wait for Georg to congratulate him as he readily end the call.
