Sold To The Mafia Lord

“Remember,it’s a secret”

Alexander was in his office when he heard a beep sound and he turned to look at his phone at the table.

He took it and frowned when he saw a message from George.

{Hey brother this is compensation, can I be spared??!! }

Alexander’s lip hooked up in a cold arc as he tapped on the photo and his eyes widened in surprise but he immediately showed a small smile as he gazed at the picture of when he was kissing Amelia on the lips, during the game of true and dare at the dining table.

This was the first time George was doing something reasonable since he knew him.

{Shut up}

Alexander replied, and his mood lifted as he stared at the photo before using it as his Lock Screen Wallpaper.

The back of his head was covering half of Amelia’s face, he was bending his head and kissing her with one hand on the table and the other on the edge of Amelia’s chair.

It was so…

“Pfft never knew I was this hot..” Alexander said with a small frown before zooming the picture more to look at Amelia’s widened eyes, obliviously shocked as she stared at his hair.

Alexander’s lips hooked, he wanted those eyes closed next time.

With that, he dropped his phone on the table and continued with the balance sheet.

He had to quickly get this done and over with.

Amelia barged the table small to get George’s attention From his phone.

“Umm sorry,” George said as he wiped his face and stared at the broad

{Shut up} From Alexander.

Damn this man!

Amelia was displeased at George.

“I came here for our deal..” Amelia said as she gazed at her wristwatch.

Oh!!! George’s face reddened in embarrassment as he thought that he had got her wrong.

She only came for her request from the game they played yesterday.

“Oh okay, What’s your request?” George asked, focusing his attention on Amelia, intrigued by her serious demeanor.

Amelia adjusted her posture, her expression grave as she emphasized the need for secrecy. “This must remain strictly between us. Under no circumstances should you disclose this to anyone else!” she cautioned George, who nodded in understanding, matching her seriousness.

“Go on,” George encouraged Amelia, curious to hear what she had to say. Amelia took a deep breath, clearing her throat before sharing her request.

“I want you to run a test on Ash without her knowledge, okay?” she revealed, her voice tinged with a mix of apprehension and determination.

George’s brows furrowed in confusion as he tried to comprehend Amelia’s request. His mind raced with questions as he gazed at her, his eyes narrowing slightly in an attempt to decipher her intentions.

Amelia noticed George’s puzzled expression and realized she needed to provide more context. Taking a moment to collect her thoughts, she began to explain her motive behind the test.

“You see, George, I’ve noticed some changes in Ash lately,” Amelia began, her voice filled with a fake concern. “She’s been acting differently, and I can’t help but wonder if something is going on with her. However, I don’t want to confront her directly and cause any unnecessary tension or discomfort.”

” Since When did you both become so close??” George wasn’t too convinced as he looked more at Amelia.

Amelia cleared her throat in embarrassment, couldn’t he just shut up already and stop asking her questions??

“Not long ago.. forget about that now, this is important,” Amelia said nevertheless as she waved her hand to clear her embarrassment.

George’s confusion started to fade as he listened intently to Amelia’s explanation. He realized that she must have had Ash’s best interests in mind and was genuinely worried about her well-being. Still, he couldn’t help but feel conflicted about conducting a test without Ash’s knowledge.

“Amelia, I understand your concerns, but running a test on someone without their consent is a delicate matter,” George responded, his tone reflecting his cautious approach.

Amelia almost rolled her eyes “We’re not killing someone or trying to publish her health statement on the TV, c’mon it’s nothing, and besides… we made a bet, you have to fulfill it” Amelia wasn’t buying all that.

As Amelia reiterated the importance of secrecy, George felt a sense of unease. He opened his mouth to speak, but Amelia wasn’t paying attention to his attempts to interject. She emphasized once again, “Remember, it’s a secret,” as she got up from her seat and made her way toward the door.

Watching Amelia walk towards the door, George’s confusion grew. He wasn’t sure what had prompted this request or why it needed to be kept under wraps. A million thoughts raced through his mind as he tried to make sense of the situation.

Amelia paused at the door, her hand resting on the knob, and turned back to look at George. His face was a canvas of bewilderment, his eyes searching for answers. Sensing his confusion, she felt a pang of guilt for not explaining herself more clearly.

“Do we have a deal, George?” Amelia asked, her voice tinged with a mix of urgency and uncertainty. She needed reassurance that he would carry out the task, that he would respect her plea for secrecy.

George’s gaze locked with Amelia’s, and after a brief moment of contemplation, he nodded slowly. Although his confusion lingered, his curiosity piqued by the enigmatic nature of Amelia’s request, he couldn’t ignore that they had made a bet to do whatever she told him, George wanted to help her, even if he didn’t fully understand her intentions.

“Yes, Amelia,” George finally replied, his voice steady. “I will run the test on Ash as you’ve asked, and I will honor our agreement to keep it confidential. But I need you to promise me that you’ll explain everything to me soon. We need to ensure that our actions align with Ash’s best interests and respect her rights.”

Amelia nodded, grateful for George’s willingness to assist her. She understood his need for clarification as he was a friend of Ash Moon.NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

“Thank you, George,” Amelia Melia said sincerely. “I promise to explain everything to you as soon as I can. We must prioritize Ash’s well-being and handle this situation with care.” Amelia lied so smoothly that if she was to say something otherwise, George might refuse to help her since he was friends with Ash Moon.

Amelia showed a Sly smirk after turning to face the door to leave the office.
