Jolie’s eyes were filled with tears as she held onto Alexander’s hand, she was having difficulty in breathing. She couldn’t even utter a complete sentence to beg for her life.

“In your entire life, the day you disrespect my wife, that day marks the end of your life, you don’t have to believe it,” Alexander said those words with venomous eyes before pushing her while releasing his hand on her throat, Jolie hit the ground with her ass and she felt extreme pain there as if she broke a spine. She let out a sharp cry.

Marion immediately rushed towards her daughter and hugged her.

Luke was so frightened, he had never been so humiliated before in the presence of his servants.

The bodyguards, maids, and butler had their heads down in fear, not wanting them to be the next in line.

Alexander immediately walked towards the butler who was shaking from head to toe.

He was so frightened as he gripped hard on his trouser and he lowered his head while biting his lower lips.

“You, take me to the basement,” Alexander said expressionlessly at the butler who immediately nodded and led the way.

Meanwhile, Alexander walked in long strides towards the basement, the butler was running towards the basement with Alex walking behind him in a hurry.

His mind felt hazy as he stared at the condition of the small, abandoned building that now serves as the basement.

He felt a pang in his heart when he saw the condition of the house, soon his gaze froze more when the butler opened the door.

A very cold air blew to his face, his expression was so unsightly when he discovered that the air conditioner was turned on, and it was at its peak.

It was already so chilly outside and now, his wife was kept in a cold place…..

He didn’t think too much as he hurriedly entered the basement and the hairs on his arm stood up due to too much coldness in the basement.

The butler became so paled that he wished the ground should open and swallow him whole.

He immediately went to turn off the air conditioner and stood aside.

Alexander walked into the basement but there was no source of lighting in the room

“Go get a touch!” Alexander thundered and the butler shuddered as he hurriedly brought out his phone with shaky hands and turned on the torch pad in his phone and the room was a bit light up.

Alexander searched everywhere until his gaze fell on a girl that was all curled up like a ball close to a box, she looked disheveled and pale.

Amelia had woken up from the drug earlier but couldn’t find a way out as the room was dark and so cold, she had no choice but to roll towards a box and fold into a ball.

It was cold in there, she had thought that Alexander would come for her but guessed she was wrong.

Alexander frowned immediately as he felt his throat got stuffed with an indescribable feeling, he felt sympathetic towards Amelia as he walked towards her to carry her.

He must pay the Robertson family a visit for this.

Amelia slowly opened her eyes but her gaze was so hazy and blurry that she couldn’t see the face clearly, she thought she was hallucinating.
