Amelia raised a brow at Travis in utter displeasure “can’t I even ask that??!”
Travis rolled his eyes at her “thankfully we saved him that day! He’s the son of the senator! he ran away from home to put some flowers in his mother’s grave without the security men knowing!” Travis stood up from the bed with a disgusted face “kids of nowadays… So spoilt rotten!”
Amelia just stared at him as if she was looking at a fool “That’s nice though so he’s back home! And I’m still here… stuck with a moron!”
“Hey don’t call me a moron! I’m not a moron… come to think of it! You’re being ungrateful!”
Amelia scoffed at him “Thank you for helping us out of the flaming building! So can you take me back home now!?”
“Why’re you so eager to go home??” Travis asked sarcastically as he walked towards a couch and made himself comfortable there.
“You’re a lonely dog so I don’t have any expectations of you understanding anything I’m going to say!” Amelia retorted and Travis’s face flushed red.
“You didn’t have to add that! It wasn’t compulsory you know…” Travis felt hurt by her words as he feigned a tearing face and Amelia felt amused before she sighed calmly. her tone low and serious
“Look Travis….. I’m just saying this because if Alexander ever finds out I’m with you…. trust me, it won’t end well for you! So it’s only best you let me go now…” Amelia said calmly, her heart tightened as she thought of Alexander.
Was he sad now??
Does he even miss her!??
Does he think of her??
Has he forgotten all about her and moved on with Ash moon??
Amelia shrug those thoughts as she wanted to know by herself and for her to do that, she had to get out of here!
Travis sighed deeply “I would have let you go back…. but the fight between the Alphas and Red kings are still on… and I don’t want you to get hurt!” Travis said calmly as he looked at her deeply.
Wondering why he didn’t meet her first before Alexander…..
If he wanted to get married, he wanted a woman like Amelia!
Amelia remained silent for a while before asking slowly “where are we now!??”
Travis didn’t hide it from her as he said “Los angelus, America!”
Amelia widened her eyes as she looked at Travis “so far from my husband!” She didn’t know when she muttered out those words.
If Travis said he didn’t feel hurt when he heard her words, he was the biggest liar on earth.
Even when she woke up, the first person she had asked of was Alexander.
Even in her subconscious mind, It was filled with Alexander…

Alexander was everywhere!
Travis bit his lower lip and said calmly “Do you really want to go back!??” He already guessed her answers but he really wish to hear something else like she wanted to stay even if it was for a little bit.
He respected the fact that she was married but he couldn’t help it.
This heart of his was so stupid!
But he wasn’t going to force himself on her, she has the final say!
“Travis…. I appreciate all you’ve done for me but….. I really do want to go back home! This is not my home, this is not where I belong….” Amelia said “Alexander is my home and I want to go back to him!”
Travis swallowed the lump on his throat as he nodded calmly but his heart was in turmoil.
Well it was all for the better!
He should better go get a life for himself!
“Okay if you say so! I will prepare the latest flight for you by tomorrow because you have to go for treatment at the hospital!” With that said, Travis got up of the couch and pointed at the bowl of cold porridge “I’ll go reheat this for you, And be sure to eat every bit of the porridge to help replenish some energy!” He took the bowl of porridge and walked out
Amelia nodded as she watched Travis walk out, he was close to the door when she slowly called out to him “thank you Travis!”
Travis stood rooted close to the door before turning to face her, he wore a sad smile “You’re always welcomed!”
“And before I forget, I have some documents to hand over to you later….” With that said, Travis exited the room, leaving Amelia confused about which document he was referring to.
Amelia felt both nervous and expectant at the same time!
How was she going to face Alexander now??
She let out a mouthful of air as she slumped on the bed, she looked at herself before groaning and gripped her pillow tightly.

Alexander was sitting on his chair in his study looking fresh as he just came out of his room after taking a shower.
His anger had subsided a little bit after almost killing Ghost in the field.
His eyes were cold as he sat there, he just received a call from the men his father had sent to search and track down Knight Cyrus, and he was spotted close to the Black Sea…..
He had made preparations to invade his territory.
He made a call to Phoenix “Any information from mahogany??”
Phoenix sharp voice came from the other side ” she had wanted to confess today but I wanted to go visit her two days from now…. do you want me to go over now??”
Alexander’s eyes constricted before letting out “Do that and if she doesn’t say anything meaningful… Slit her throat!”
Phoenix immediately complied and ended the call, ready to go to the catalyst web.
After ending the call, Alexander called the doctor, mr Walker about the results from the autopsy test.
“Good day mr Walker, I need you at my house ASAP with the autopsy results…” Alexander immediately went straight to the point, he felt as if he was delaying things, he wanted to get this done and over with.

He didn’t get to complete his statement when the call was hung up by Alexander.
Mr Walker dropped the phone on the table while cursing at Alexander under his breath “That little devil….” His eyes roamed around the table, he was working on a new formula for a disease he discovered and now he was interrupted by that little evil being…
But he knew the results were confidential so he immediately stood up to get the results….
As he searched through the locker his eyes fell on the file facing him inside the locker…..
