Alexander chuckled beside her ear and wrapped her waist and Amelia was so stiff.

Thinking when they had suddenly become this close!

Amelia’s breath hitched as she used her hand to support herself so as not to collapse, she placed the hand on Alexander’s chest when her legs were threatening to give up.

She had become so weak in the knees.

Alexander slowly whispered, “Why are you so stiff Amy??”

Amelia couldn’t utter a word as she wrapped her arms around his arm and used the other to press on his chest.

Her back against the wall and Him pressed against her.

“Amy..” His voice was so hoarse and cool and Amelia felt he was teasing her again but she just couldn’t help it.

She loved to get teased by him.

“Alex that’s enough already..”Though Amelia said that, she wanted more.

Then again, she realized that the elevator would be reaching the office floor soon.

Alexander smirked and let go of her and stood straight and immediately put on a cold face as if he didn’t do anything earlier.

Just then, the elevator made a ding sound and the doors opened and Alexander resumed his duty as he carried the stupefied Amelia again and directly walked to their office.

“What if someone meets us like this?? Quickly put me down” Amelia said as her eyes continued searching around as Alexander walked towards their office.

“No one will, “Alexander said coolly as he continued walking in long strides.

“And how are you so sure about that??”Amelia wrinkled her brows at him and he just adjusted her in his arm.

“You are so light, though you’re a glutton, you still are so bony” Alexander complained and that got Amelia so vexed.

She directly pitched his ear and it turned pink “Don’t call me bony, it’s not my fault that I’m so skinny”

Just as her words fell, a sound echoed in the hallway.

Amelia turned to see where the noise came from and she immediately flushed red.

A director who had come out of his office for something, saw their CEO carrying a lady, due to the shock and disbelief, his notepad fell from his hand.

He remains there with a bland expression on.

Amelia immediately hid her head in Alexander’s chest to cover her chest.

She had not wanted this to link out in the office.

Alexander saw her reaction and a part of him was not happy with her reaction.

Was she not proud of being with him??

Alexander turned to the Director and shot him a very cold and life-piercing gaze that made the director immediately come back to his senses.

He shivered like a duck with no feathers who had been kept in the cold for a thousand years without a blanket.

“Get lost!!” Alexander said calmly but his words contained all manner of threats and killing intent.

The director immediately scurried away with his head bowed down.

Alexander was so angry, he was having a wonderful time with his wife and someone just came out of nowhere to disrupt their moment together.

Amelia immediately jumped down from his arms as they got to the office.

Alexander had a sucking expression on and Amelia sighed as she stood close to the door.

Alexander Walked to his chair and sat with that same expression.

Amelia noticed his expression and was confused at his abrupt change of expression.

“Umm about-“Amelia cleared her throat and continued “about my..”

“Don’t worry, I’ll have my men buy you a new set” Alexander said calmly as he took out his phone to make arrangements.

Amelia nodded a bit and sluggishly walked to her seat to start her work, She first made a cup of Cappuccino for Alexander who muttered a thank you to her and she hummed and returned to her seat.

She started working but she couldn’t help but let her eyes drift to Alexander’s silhouette, he was using his pen to draft something on a book.

She tried to stretch her neck to look but she couldn’t see anything.

Alexander was busy scribbling nonsense in his book, he couldn’t concentrate on anything, he was so self-depressed.

He looked towards Amelia’s direction and saw that she was working.

He quickly looked under his drawer and saw a small mirror that His brother, Maverick had dropped in his office the last time he came.

He sneaked a look at Amelia and when he confirmed that she wasn’t looking in his direction, he quickly looked in the mirror and after a while, he dropped it back on the drawer and began to contemplate.

He was handsome as far as he knew, so why was Amelia still not head over heels for him??

A lot of women beg for his attention even if it’s just for a few seconds but Amelia who had gotten his whole attention wasn’t budging.

This was simply unbelievable!!

Just then the door opened and a man came to deliver a pair of shoes to Amelia.

Alexander watched Amelia’s happy expression when he saw her open the lid of the boxes.

Amelia was so happy when she saw that Alexander had bought her about four heels with different colors and designs.

They were all fancy and each pair weren’t less than two hundred thousand dollars.

Because it had a famous brand logo on, GP was a very famous design company, they only produced the latest and off-market goods.

The red heels among the shoes that Alexander bought for her was from GP and it has only two pieces.

One piece was sold in an auction house and bought by the First Lady of Singapore.

And the second piece just happened to be right in her hands!!!

Amelia forgot everything she was doing, she forgot about some self-restraint as she immediately ran to meet Alexander who was resting his weight on his table.

With folded arms, looking at her.

Alexander was surprised as Amelia ran towards him barefooted as if they were in their home.

Amelia immediately dived Alexander wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed him into a hug.

A smile crept up to his face as he slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and pressed her more into his broad chest.

At least the decision to buy her four heels was a good idea and the troubles he went through to get her GP heels were worth it.

With that thought, Alexander hugged Amelia’s small body even more.
