Sold To The Mafia Lord

Fear!!

Ash was pacing around the room as she held her phone nervously, looking at it from time to time.

Confused at what was going on!

It was supposed to be today, The plan Knight had told her was supposed to happen today.

Knight had promised her after today, things would change for her own good but nothing seems to be working.

Ash’s intuition nagged at her, a sense of unease settling deep within her. The fact that Knight hadn’t reached out to her indicated that something negative had transpired. Her mind raced, exploring various possibilities and scenarios, desperately trying to unravel the mystery that loomed over her.

Fear crept into her thoughts. What if Alexander had discovered their secrets? The idea sent a shiver down her spine. She couldn’t afford to wait any longer, her heart pounding in her chest. With trembling fingers, she reached for her phone and dialed Knight’s number, the anxiety building with each passing second.

The phone rang, each ring amplifying her apprehension. Finally, the call connected, and Knight’s voice, fraught with urgency, echoed through the line. “Get straight to the point!” he demanded.

Ash’s brow furrowed as she gripped the phone tightly, attempting to maintain her composure. “And what’s that supposed to mean? You didn’t call or inform me of what happened!” she snapped, her voice tinged with frustration.

Knight’s anger reverberated through the phone, his words laced with venom. “And who are you to me? Why should I report my every movement to you?” he retorted sharply. “Well… red alerts! Better go far away, or else Alexander will be coming for you soon… You were only a puppet I thought I could use, but it seems you were just a fool!”

The call abruptly ended, leaving Ash stunned and her face drained of color. Knight’s words had struck her like a dagger to the heart. The realization that she had been nothing more than a pawn in his game sent waves of shock and confusion crashing over her.

The mention of Alexander’s impending arrival ignited a maelstrom of emotions within her. Fear gripped her, intertwining with anger, sadness, and profound disappointment. She felt like a trapped animal, cornered and defenseless against the storm that was about to unleash upon her. The thought of Alexander, a man she loved so much with every fiber in her, now coming after her sent a chill down her spine.

Ash’s mind raced, desperately searching for a way out, for a means of escape. She knew she had to act quickly if she wanted to survive the impending storm. Her hands trembled as she reached for her bag, hastily stuffing it with essentials. Panic fueled her movements as she threw a few belongings into the bag, her mind now solely focused on self-preservation.

With her heart pounding in her ears, Ash’s movements were hurried as she began to pack her things.

She ran towards her closet and dragged all her clothes out.

She was aware of Alexander’s screwed ways of killing, She had seen it all back in America.

She was aware of the fact that Alexander doesn’t spare anyone he has the mindset of destroying, her father wouldn’t be able stop him.

She had thought after killing Amelia, everything would be alright.

She had thought Alexander would be sad and broken and then she would be his guardian angel and help him heal in every way possible but it seems she was the one who needs healing now.

She just wish she could teleport herself back to America at this time.

But then, Realization dawned on her that even if she was to run to her father’s house, Alexander would still find her.

With her bag packed and essentials gathered, Ash slipped her feet into fluffy slippers and made her way to the living room. Phone in hand, she navigated to her contact list, intending to call her trusted driver. As she walked, she dragged her bag behind her, its weight making her stoop slightly.

In her haste, Ash’s face hovered close to the ground as she struggled to secure her slippers properly. She tugged at the fabric, ensuring they were snug on her feet. Finally, satisfied, she lifted her gaze and turned her attention to the task of locking the door. With a firm grip on the suitcase, she approached the entrance, determined to secure her home before facing the unknown.

But as Ash took a couple of steps toward the living room, a sudden explosion of fireworks seemed to ignite inside her head. The world around her shook, as if an earthquake had erupted beneath her feet. Her heart raced, and a deep sense of dread engulfed her. It felt as though the very ground beneath her was trembling, and her mind conjured images of volcanic eruptions and cataclysmic disasters.

Fear and shivers ran down her spine, freezing her in place. Her eyes widened in disbelief as they settled on the figure sitting calmly on the couch in her living room. Time seemed to stand still as the reality of the situation sank in.

The suitcase slipped from Ash’s grasp, crashing to the ground with a screeching noise that jolted her senses. But she barely registered the sound. All her attention was focused on the man who had invaded her sanctuary. He sat there, an unwelcome presence in her once safe space.

Her mind raced, desperately trying to make sense of the situation. How had he gotten in? What did he want from her? Fear mingled with anger as she realized that her carefully constructed world was crumbling before her eyes.

Frozen in place, Ash struggled to find her voice. Every part of her being screamed at her to run, to flee from the danger that lurked in her own home. But her legs refused to move, trapping her in a state of paralyzed vulnerability. She stood rooted to the ground, her gaze locked on the intruder, awaiting his next move.Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

The man on the couch remained motionless, a calmness radiating from him that sent chills down her spine. There was something unsettling about his presence, an air of calculated menace that filled the room. Ash’s mind raced with possibilities, her thoughts a whirlwind of fear and confusion.
