Chapter Thirty
"So.. what do we do today family. What activity do we carry out." Mrs Greg said excitedly.
"Perhaps, we should all play volleyball or table tennis." Mr Greg suggested.
"Hmm... So volleyball or table tennis, which of them should we go for?." Mrs Greg asked, her finger
placed on her cheeks.
"Uhm, I will go for volleyball." Mr Greg said.
Aaron looked at Alicia worriedly, he knew in the condition that she is in, it won't be good if she played
volleyball. "Uhm, why don't we do something that requires less jumping around. I prefer table tennis."
"I think volleyball is really good to exercise the body." His father argued. Aaron internally cussed at him.
"Dad I think Aaron is right. We should go for a sport that has less jumping. And so.. I would totally go
for table tennis." Alexia spoke up. She can't really be jumping around with the pains she's feeling. If she
had a chance, she would have gone straight to her room and had a little bit of rest, but her mum just
had to suggest they do something really fun as a family.
"Okay.. help me out here honey. What would you rather play, volley or tennis?." Mr Greg said pouting
his lips.
"Well... If I was to choose, I would go with volley..."
"Yeah, that's nice. So shall we.. all head to the volleyball court." Mr Greg utters excitedly, already
walking away.
"Mum." Alexia exclaims.
"Greg, where are you going. I wasn't even done talking. Ugh, I was going to say. I would have gone
with volley but the kids wants to play tennis, so then.. I would go with tennis instead." Mrs Greg
explained to an already frowning Mr Greg.
"What. How could you support the kids over me, I'm your husband!." He exclaimed, staring at his wife
bewildered.
"I know that, and I also know that they are my kids. And if my kids don't want to be stressed out , I have
to support them." Mrs Greg argued back already walking past her husband.
"Keep up Dad." Aaron yelled mockingly, walking past his father, along with Alexia.
"Okay... No problem, I will agree to this little arrangement, but the next activity we are doing as a family,
I will be the one to choose!." Mr Greg yelled after them, walking behind them, his frown still intact.
They all walked into the table tennis court, Mrs Greg took 4 racket from where the racket were all
arranged, and then hands one racket each to her husband, Aaron and Alexia.
"So.. Alexia and I would be a team, why you and Aaron would also be a team." Mrs Greg said.
"Come on dad. Let's show the ladies how good we are at this." Aaron said grinning.
"Yeah, we don't even have to stress ourselves that much, cause we can play much more better than
the both of them, even with our eyes closed." Mr Greg replied his son, equally grinning.
"Are you sure you don't want me going against them alone?." Aaron asked smirking.
"Ohh really. You really think that you could actually win us. Wow, just because we are women doesn't
mean we are not good at this game. We are going to beat the both of you." Mrs Greg boasted. Alexia
couldn't say a word, cause she felt a lot of pains in her abdomen.
"Alexia back me up here." Mrs Greg said turning to stare at her daughter. She noticed there was
something off about her daughter, and she couldn't just understand what it is.
She knew for a fact that Alexia had been really off, since she returned from touring the hotel with
Aaron.
"Alexia, are you okay?." Mrs Greg asked, placing a hand on Alexia's shoulder.
"Is there something wrong with Alexia?." Mr Greg asked concerned, walking towards his wife and his
daughter.
"I don't know. She's been pretty off today." Mrs Greg answered.
Alexia had to force a smile on her face, she can't afford letting her parents know that she just carried
out an abortion. She exhaled, "I'm fine mum. I'm fine dad."
"Are you sure. Seconds ago, you looked like someone in real pain." Her mum said softly.
"Mum.. if she said she's fine, it means she's really fine." Aaron said, his heart beating. He felt so afraid.
What if his mum decides it would be best to take Alexia to a hospital, and check if indeed anything is
wrong with Alexia. He knows for a fact, that Alexia would be taken to the hotel clinic and also.. the
doctor would surely recognize them.
"Shut up Aaron, and stop being so insensitive." Mrs Greg scold Aaron.
"Mum, he is right. I'm not in any kind of pain. So the both of you should stop being so paranoid over a
little matter, I'm fine okay." Alexia said trying so hard to convince her mum.
"Are you sure?." Mrs Greg asked. She felt so sceptical, she just felt there was something big going on,
but she can't tell what that is.
"Yes I'm sure. Now, Let's play some tennis." Alexia yelled, trying to sound so excited.
"Okay.. if you say so. But if at all, you are in any kind of pain or you feel a little bit sick, make sure to
bring it to my attention okay."
"Okay mum I promise to tell you, even if I feel the smallest sign of headache, now can we just play
some table tennis. I need to show dad and my big head brother, how good I am table tennis." Alexia
said grinning. Mrs Greg heart wasn't still settled, but she decided to let it go.
"Okay... People, let's play some tennis. I will serve." Mrs Greg said, and then the game began. RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
Steve and Aaron won the very first, second, third, fourth and fifth round. Finally at the sixth round,
Alexia and her mum won. The both of them danced happily around Steve and Aaron, singing. After
they were done singing, they refused to play another round. Saying they have won them and that's
enough for.
"Wow, this taste so nice. I have to say, the chef in this hotel is really good at cooking." Mr Greg said
eating a full spoon of salad.
"I can't agree less. This is so amazing. I heard they actually have a very renowned chef. So I guess it's
not surprising that their food taste so good." Mrs Greg said, agreeing to what her husband just said.
"Yeah, this is really good." Aaron equally agreed.
"Uhm, Alexia aren't you eating?." Mrs Greg suddenly asked turning to stare at her daughter.
"No, i think my stomach is already filled up." Alexia answered, her voice barely hearable.
"Oh my goodness, are you okay Alexia. Why does your voice sound this way, and your face look so
dull. Are you sick, no I think you are sick." Mrs Greg uttered at once, her voice sounding so worried.
"Mum. You don't have to worry, everything is fine. Everything is okay. I am fine." Alexia said putting a
stop to all her mum talks.
"No you are not. You are not fine!. Stand up, I'm taking you to the clinic." Mrs Greg said deadpan,
getting up from her chair.
"Mum! I said am fine. All I just need is rest, I guess am tired and that's all." Alexia said breathlessly.
"No! I won't have any of your nonsense, young lady. You are coming with me to the clinic and that's
final." Mrs Greg said glaring at her.
"I think we should let her rest, if that's what she wants. If she still looks the way she looks after getting
that rest, then you can take her to the clinic and get her checked up." Mr Greg voiced out.
Mrs Greg stared at her husband, then back Alexia, her expression tells she's not ready to back down.
"Come on mum, just have your seat and let Alexia have that rest. I am sure she will be fine, once she
rest. You have to stop worrying yourself." Aaron said to his mum, trying so hard not to sound worried
either. But he is worried, he is very much worried about his sister's state of health. Seeing her in pain,
and not being able to do a thing, shatters his heart into pieces.
Mrs Greg exhaled, then sat down. "Fine, you can go to your room and have a good bath, then sleep.
But if you still end up looking like a ghost after your "rest" then I would take you the clinic, and you are
not allowed to argue with me. Is that clear?" Mrs Greg asked Alexia sternly.
"Yes mum." Alexia answered, exhaling. She has never been more relief in her life, and right now she's
so relief.
"Uhm, I will escort her, to her room." Aaron said getting up from his seat.
"Yeah you should do that." Mr Greg agrees.
Alexia also got up, but unluckily for her, she felt a big bang on her head and she had to step back a
little, groaning at the same time.
"Alexia!, Are you okay?." Aaron yelled worriedly, rushing over to her. He was quick to get to her, cause
she fainted and he ended up catching her, before she falls.
At that moment, that very moment... Aaron didn't think, he didn't think about his parents. He didn't think
about his parents finding out about the love between his sister and him. He didn't care about the truth
getting revealed.
At that moment, that very moment... The only thing he thought about, was his sister's been okay.
Without care, he carried her up in his arms and ran all the way to the clinic, his parents right behind
him.

Alexia opened her eyes slowly, to see her brother sleeping on a couch. She looked around the room
she was, and noticed the room is white. She panicked, panicked really bad.
This looks like a hospital room, if am here... Does this means. Oh my God, mum! Dad!. Have they
found out the truth. I'm so doom... She thinks her heart in so much distress.
"Aaron.. Aaron.. Aaron!" She yelled, getting much more impatient, with everytime she calls his name.
Aaron opened his eyes frowning, the frown erase, when he saw Alexia already awake "Alexia." He
called shocked, getting up from the couch and rushing over to the bed.
"What happened?." Alexia asked him, her fingers trembling really bad.
"You fainted, and I had no choice but to rush you to the hospital. My goodness Alexia, you gave me
quite the scare." Aaron uttered, his eyes darkened with emotion.
"I'm sorry for you putting you through that, really sorry. And this isn't what I want to know. I want to
know, if mum and dad now knows the truth. Did they find out, you know... About our relationship?." She
asked, anxiety taking over her senses.
Aaron was about talking, when their parents strolled into the room. "Finally, she's awake." Mrs Greg
state, staring at her daughter with such displeasure.
Alexia looked at her brother, then back at her mum, not knowing exactly what to respond with.
"So.. you didn't want to go to the clinic, cause you were afraid I and your father would find out that you
had an abortion." Mrs Greg said, her voice showing how displease and angry she is at the moment.
"Mum, I'm..."
"Don't! Don't say a single word. I don't want to hear you talk. Gosh, I am so angry at the moment. I am
so angry at you!. I am angry, at both you and your brother." Mrs Greg yelled.
At that moment, Alexia wished she had never woke up from the state of unconsciousness, she wished
she could just vanished from that very room. Her mum knows, and if her mum knows, it means her dad
also now knows the very truth, she's been trying do hard to keep secret.
She stared at her dad who was just sitting on the couch, with his face in his palm. Alexia noticed her
dad hasn't even said a single word, since he walked into the room. He must be very disappointed in
me, he most be very angry.... She thinks sadly.
Fuck! What do I do now, I'm all caught up.
