Chapter 33 : The interrogation

There's a big funeral inside the pack today. Most of SnowMoon warriors who died was sent to their

home to be buried properly base on their tradition. Alpha Elliot traveled with them to lead the ceremony.

I, on the other hand are looking to the families of my warriors whose grief are unmeasurable. One by

one they said their goodbye and pray for the Moon Goddess. I can feel that she's watching her child

and mourning with us.

I looked at the night sky and pray to her to keep my mate strong. I will do everything to get her back

and avenge the families of my dead warriors.

I stand in the middle where the bodies was put above a stage made of woods. We will burn their bodies

and send them back to our creator.

I slowly put the fire and watch how it burn the bodies of my warriors.

'The Goddess will Blessed your soul.' I prayed.

After a few hours, Jaxson mind-link me to go to the dungeon. The vampire I we caught is already

awake.

When I get there, I saw the two vampires we caught, trying to break the chain bidden to them.

"If I scape this chain, I will kill you all." The vampire with the long hair said.

"If you can. Monster." Jaxson said before he hit him in the face.

"You know I can, Dog. This is why we joined Master Lukas. To kill a dog like you." The Vampire said.

"Lukas hmmmm. If I'm not mistaken, I saw you few years back. You tried to kill on of my pack member

but the thing is, you're a rogue back then." I said.

"So, you still remember me after five years."

"From wolf to vampire. What a transition." I said.

"It is better that to be a wanted all over the surrounding pack. I was just trying to hunt when I reached

your border. Your warrior attacked me first that's why I killed him."

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Mario and the guy next to me is my brother Kenneth." He answered

I looked at the vampire next to him. He's still young, maybe nineteen or so. He's a vampire. It might

help him to stay young.

"Mario, I know this is a big misunderstanding. I am tired now for long interrogation. I just want to find

my mate. I promise not to kill you and your brother if you tell me where he's hiding my mate." I said.

I actually feel bad after hearing his side. I'm cruel before, I know. But now, I don't have time to fight for

the information. I need to talk to them first before I decide what to do next.

"You're lying." Mario shouted.

"I'm not. I swear to the Moon Goddess that I will not kill you and let you go after I found my mate."

He looked into his brother and his eyes soften.

"Even you asked us over and over again, we can't tell you that information. We are bonded to our

Master. He can control us. After we are transformed into a vampire, he ordered us a lot of things. One

thing is to keep secret where he lives. We cannot break that rule, if we did, we will die." Mario

explained.

That's new information. They are all bonded.

"What if I killed him, will you die also?" I asked.

"We don't know too. We are already dead now, we don't have souls. Only werewolf genes can be

transformed into vampire. All the vampire you will encounter are once a werewolf." Mario explained.

"Only werewolf? can he do that to my mate?"

"As far as I know, No. He needs the Luna to stay a wolf to reproduce."

It's a relief then.

"If I let you go, can we follow your tracks to locate where is his base?"

He think for a while.

"I think it possible. I can leave tracks for you to follow, but I will not enter the perimeter. He will feel my Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

presence and demand information. If that happens, I can't lie." Mario said.

"Jaxson, take their chain off and give them some blood from the clinic to feed." I said.

All people inside the dungeon look at me like I lost a head. I saw Mario and Kenneth shocked face.

"Alpha, it's a big risk to unchain them. They might kill us and our people."

"I don't think that will happen. These two was just a victim of mistreatment. I blame myself for what I did

before. They need new chance. Just keep an eye on them while I tell this information to Alpha Elliot." I

looked at Mario and Kenneth who's speechless at the moment. "Please don't make things that may

hurt you. I will transfer Kenneth to one of our rooms in the pack house. You can get him back when we

found the base." I said.

"O-okay. Thank you."

"And one more thing, don't go back to him ever again. I hope that his life is not bounded to you all. I

hope you can make a life even you're a vampire now." I said.

"T-Thank you Alpha." Mario said.

Jaxson followed them while looking disappointed at my decision. He will understand it when he find his

own mate someday. It will help our made of steel heart melted and look at the brighter side of a

situation.

I follow them inside the pack and wait till they were set. I called Alpha Elliot to tell him the information I

get from the vampires. He told me that he will be here tomorrow evening and we can go then to find

Adellee. I agree with him even I feel that the old man needs to rest. He's been traveling back and fort

just to save his daughter. I can't let bad things happened to him because Adellee will surely heart

broken if something happened to her Dad.

I walk back into our room. It's already cleaned but her scent was also gone.
