Pulling up out the front of the night club, Thaddeus hops out. Masses of people blocking us from

entering as they queued everywhere trying to get into the club.

Thaddeus tossed people out of the way as he cleared a path to the bouncers who immediately

stepped into his path. It made me wonder what they thought at that moment, they were half his size

and Evie would put up more of a fight.

The short stocky one who I could tell was a werewolf stepped forward gripping his arm, a big

mistake. I knew his life was over the moment he stepped in front of him.

Thaddeus backhands him, sending the idiot flying, his head cracking against the pavement with a

sickening crunch before Thaddeus stepped forward and stepped on his head and crushed it beneath

his foot. The other man seemed to grow half a brain and put up his hands in surrender. His hands

tremble as he pushes his blonde locks off his forehead.

"All yours" he stutters out ducking down and running past him. Everyone out the front scattering

and running for their lives as Thaddeus' anger bubbled, brewing up a storm. Electricity buzzing through

the power lines making the street lights flicker and power to surge all up the street.

"Thaddeus?" I warned him.

"Still in control, but they need to move" he says through gritted teeth as we step into his father's

establishment. Tobias had really let this place go to shit. The air is thick with the scent of bodily fluids

making me want to puke.

Music blaring as it jumped from the power surge, people everywhere as they danced and moved

around completely unaware of the danger they were in.

A woman bumping into him tips her drink on him by accident and I could see his control slipping as

he barely held onto it. I followed him before watching his fists clench, and could smell the air become

electrified.

"Thaddeus?"

"Under control" he says again before he spins around and grabs me, his arms wrapping around

my body as he pulls me against his chest.

"Hold me" he says and I internally groan. Fuck! I grip his shirt when I hear the magic surging, feel it

I watch people go flying, legs and arms going everywhere as the club tables and chairs that are

bolted down go hurtling towards the walls along with everyone around us. They didn't even have time

to react, just moved in a quick wave. The sound was like a freight train before all you could hear was

people and furniture smashing into the walls before everything went deadly quiet.

"Ah hear that, fucking silence" he says patting my back. I let him go watching as people groaned,

getting to their feet in a daze. Turning Thaddeus was strolling through the place like he was taking a

walk at the park. I follow after him when I hear a noise before a blonde head comes rushing toward us.

Her heart thudded in her chest loudly.

Thaddeus grabs her, jerking her towards him. "Where is my mate?" He asks Laura who looks up at

his onyx eyes fearfully.

"I'm not sure, I lost her a while ago in the crowd" she says. Thaddeus wanted to search her mind

but time wasn't on our sides. We needed to find Evie.

"Thaddeus, let her go" I tell him and he glares at her before shoving her away continuing toward

the back of the club. I could feel we were getting closer, feel the pull to her and the stranger she was

with.

We come to the ladies bathroom and stop. Thaddeus looks at it and I nod letting him know that's

where I am being pulled to, too.

He shoves the door open, but what we weren't prepared for, was the bodies laying on the floor.

Their throats ripped out and dazed eyes staring up at us. 4 in total on the floor when we heard a

moaning sound.

I was so focused on Thaddeus magic I managed to numb her out but with her directly in front of

us, it shoved her back to the forefront of my mind. Pain radiating everywhere as this man had his paws

all over her kissing and sucking on her skin before we heard him scream. The scream dies out as she

rips into his neck before discarding him like he was trash. He fell to the floor at her feet where she was

sitting on the basin.

She had no shirt on, just her bra and was drenched in blood, completely drenched like she had

bathed in it. She didn't seem to notice us until Thaddeus stepped in the room and a feral growl escaped

her before she looked at us.

"Thaddeus?" She says and I could feel her confusion.

She seemed really out of it, like she was high and she probably was from feeding this much. Blood

when consumed in high quantities like she has done has the same effect as drinking alcohol. A buzzed

rabid high came from consuming too much and she was past that point as she squinted at us like she

couldn't really see us.

She hops off the basin and Thaddeus steps over one of the bodies before grabbing her arms

steadying her on her feet.

"There's my tingles" she says her eyes so red they were glowing burning brightly as she swayed

on her feet. She grabs his face with both hands and I could smell their scents all over her, smell their

blood all over her.

She seems to notice her hands as she grabs his face and lets him go staring at them. She rubs

them before I see her breathing suddenly increase, didn't she realise she has killed 5 people?

I could feel her emotions all over the place before she looked down in complete horror at what she

had done. She starts frantically rubbing her hands in panic like she could rid herself of their deaths

staining every inch of her.

Thaddeus suddenly grips her face, and I thought with his anger raging like it was he was going to

hurt her, that he couldn't see something was seriously wrong, that she wouldn't have done this. But

instead he forces her to meet his gaze "sleep" he says and I watch her eyes glaze over, before they

flutter. She sways her eyes closing completely as he grabs her before she crumbles to the ground. He

scoops her up before handing her to me. My skin becomes sticky from their blood one her.
