She's out of Your League Now (Millie and Winston)

League 451

League 451

All eyes were on the man who entered after Jake, and Millie was no different.

She put down her wine glass after spotting the familiar face. He was no other than Sean.

Eyes narrowed, she curled her lips into a smile. Sean was surely a busy man to have been attending parties right after he returned home from abroad.

Winston and Joanna turned to

look at the same time, and they saw Jake and Sean entering the venue. The three guys immediately started catching up with each other.

Millie noticed that Joanna was swooning at Sean. She turned her attention back to the three men, who were good-looking in different ways. Winston was a man who could hold his own, and he had a temper. He was attractive in a roguish and unapproachable way.

On the other hand, Jake was friendly and rather flippant, like a high schooler.

In contrast to Jake's boyishness, Sean's demeanor was softer than both men, though he was more manly and hunky than a gentleman.

It was hard for the attractive trio not to attract attention.

When Millie checked them out, she met a pair of

eyes. She narrowed her eyes at Sean, who smiled and gave her a light nod. Surprised that he had quietly greeted her, Millie raised a brow at him. Winston followed Sean's gaze, and his eyes landed on Millie, who was seated in the distance.

Did Sean and Millie know each other? When were they acquainted? He wondered if Sean had been greeting someone else instead of Millie. Millie silently looked away from Sean when she sensed Winston's eyes on her.RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

Suddenly, Jake said, "I'll say hi to your ex-wife."

That earned him a disdainful glare from Winston, but he didn't mind. Smiling, he explained, "I have something serious to ask her."

Sean suddenly chimed in, "I'll go with you."

Jake seemed rather surprised.

Sean's action confirmed Winston's

earlier doubts. He had indeed greeted Millie. If so, that begged the question of the time of their first encounter, as Sean had just touched

down the day before.

Winston watched as the two men headed toward Millie. After that, the three of them started chatting merrily.

Sean, who took his seat beside Millie, picked up a glass of champagne and gently clinked it with Millie's, Winston scrunched his eyes when he saw how nicely. Sean treated Millie. Based on his understanding. Sean despised ingratiating himself with others, and he never showed much interest in women.

Why, then, did Sean act that way around Millie?

At that moment, Joanna tugged at Winston's arm to distract him from Sean and Millie.

Winston hung his head and patted Joanna on the head. "Come on. Let's go upstairs."

Joanna nodded and stole a glance in Millie's direction. She had set up a huge trap for Millie that night, and

she surely hoped Millie Wenjoy

her last day on earth to the fullest.

"Have you guys met before?" Jake asked with a shocked expression.

Sean nodded at him. Millie teased, "Mr. Stringer is a successful and busy man, and I only had the honor to meet him once."

Millie could not help but study Sean at that moment. He was a really attractive man, and she developed an interest

in him after getting tired of the faces of Yerwick's hot guys.

"Ms. Caldwell, you're gonna make me blush if you don't move your eyes away from me," said Sean with a soft chuckle. Millie cleared her throat and looked away from him.

Meanwhile, Jake narrowed his eyes as something clicked in his mind. Was Sean flirting with Millie?

He quickly interrupted their conversation and asked Millie, "Is Ms. Shaw attending the party tonight?"
