She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian)

Chapter 201

Chapter 201

“Sebastian, there’s still six months until the contract expires. Can you hang on a bit longer?”

“Yes”

“Then can you help me take a photo? After we separate, I’ll leave it to you as a souvenir.”

“Okay.”

“Then…”

He raised his slender fingers and placed them on her soft lips.

“Whatever you want me to do. I can do it.”

Her lips curled up at the corners, a quiet and beautiful smile gracing her face as she beamed at him.

“Then in the future… can we never see each other again, even in heaven or hell?”

He felt a tightness in his chest, and the dense pain hit him, causing him to suddenly wake up from his

dream.

“No!”

He opened his eyes and saw the white ceiling. Scarlett’s figure had long disappeared. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

With difficulty, he turned his gaze to his wrist, his expression darkening upon seeing the layers of gauze

wrapped around it.

They still wanted him to stay the same as before, not wanting him to die easily, yet what he didn’t

anticipate was….

He wanted to die to see her, but she told him in his dream that she would never see him again.

She must have been so disappointed in him that she didn’t even want to see him again after death.

The feeling of suffocation and pain was like his skin being peeled off, bit by bit, his heart being torn

away from his body.

The pain was so intense that he struggled to breathe. He tried to push it away, but it was relentless,

coursing through his body

It was only at this moment that he realized that some emotions could not be controlled.

For example, falling in love with a person, losing a person, or never seeing the person he wanted to

see…

He lifted the corners of his lips and smiled bitterly. He gave up resisting his emotions and allowed the

heart rending pain to devour him….

After an unknown period of time, his bloodshot eyes finally showed some reaction.

Lowering his eyes and eyelashes slightly, he tensed up when he saw the clothes on his body had been

changed.

He forced himself to get out of bed and quickly looked around for the suit jacket he was wearing like a

madman….

“Young Master, are you looking for this letter?”

A gentle voice came from outside the door. Richard came in with a letter.

When Sebastian saw that the letter was still intact, his tense face suddenly relaxed.

He carefully took the letter, folded it, and walked towards the safe.

“Young Master, Madam is here. She is waiting for you downstairs…”

Sebastian did not seem to notice his words. He opened the safe and put the letter in it.

There was no money in the safe, only two items, a beige scarf and a photo.

She left the scarf at E Mansion on the day the agreement was terminated.

He asked Leo to call her to come over and get it, but she requested that he throw it

away.

Then she hung up the phone without hesitation and deleted all the contact information related to him.

He knew she was resolute, and that once he declared it was over, she would never return.

She moved on easily, yet he was unwilling to let go and kept her related items.

Sebastian raised his hand and tenderly touched the scarf, as if he could still feel her body heat

lingering on it, causing him to become deeply attached to it.

When his eyes fell upon the photo, the trace of attachment was replaced by a heart-wrenching pain.

Recalling that day, when she awoke and noticed he hadn’t gone, she mustered the courage to take his

phone and timidly inquire,

“Sebastian, you’re heading overseas for a few months. I’m worried that when you return, you might…”

She paused for a moment as if she wanted to tell him something, but she did not say it. She only

revealed shyness and continued to ask him with a smile.

“Can you… help me take a photo? After we separate, I will leave it to you as a souvenir…”

She probably wanted to tell him that she might be dying, fearing this could be their last time together,

and leaving a photo

for him.

However, he did not agree to such a small request. He even coldly replied, “No need.”

Upon hearing these words, her eyes, full of hope, visibly dimmed, yet she quickly concealed the

sadness.

She returned the phone to him, still smiling as she said to him, “It doesn’t matter…”

Sebastian’s emotions crumbled anew as he recalled her fleeting, disappointed expression.

He was unwilling to relinquish his pitiful and absurd self-esteem after hearing her utter Liam’s name.

Although he had surreptitiously snapped a photo of her before departing, she was unaware of his love

for her.

He had inflicted such pain upon her. What justification did he have to kill himself? He should be forced

to endure the agony of her absence for eternity.
