Chapter 420
"Is it gonna hurt?"
Remington lifted his gaze, his eyes slightly squinting, deeply staring at his breathtakingly beautiful wife in the early morning light.
"Mrs. Dashiell, you think so highly of me?"
"What do you mean?" Lizetta was a bit perplexed, her eyes soft and clear.
The man's lips curved slightly, "You think my stamina and intensity could surpass your daily dance workouts?" Lizetta's cheeks flushed, and she playfully punched his shoulder in faux annoyance, "Just be careful, okay?"
"Yeah, you're quite the handful. Honey, if you have so much faith in me, wait until Joy arrives, and I'll prove it to you."
His voice was husky, whispering in Lizetta's ear, his lips hot, trailing down her neck, his kisses growing more fervent.
Lizetta couldn't help but wrap one arm around his neck, her other hand caressing his slightly stiff hair.
She could feel his enthusiasm, his mood having been exceptionally good these past few days. She thought, perhaps he was also looking forward to their wedding.
Her heartbeat raced, and with the most intimate of connections, her love felt scorching hot. In his moment of passion, she inadvertently scratched across his back; moving closer, she whispered in his ear with a voice soft and sultry.
"Honey, let's never be apart."
Remington shivered, holding her tightly, and eagerly nuzzled her ear, his voice rough, "Yeah, forever!"
As Lizetta heard his promise, her body flushed with warmth, feeling both her heart and body filled to the brim.
When they finally got out of bed, they were indeed late. Lizetta rushed through her breakfast, while Remington sat beside her, dabbing her lips with a napkin to clean the milk stains, chuckling softly. "Slow down, we're already late as it is."
Lizetta shot him a playful glare, and Remington, his face bright with a contented smile, clearly in a better mood, added, "I'll drive you myself later; by the way, have we settled on a wedding date?"
The timing of the wedding, Remington had left for Lizetta and Fiona to discuss. He would go along with their plans.
Lizetta put down her cup, nodding, "I don't want a big fuss, just a simple, warm ceremony with close friends and family. I'm thinking in about two weeks."
Carrying their child and attending dance rehearsals, she hardly had time to plan a wedding.
Lizetta didn't want to have the wedding when her belly was too noticeable. In two weeks, the baby would be just over four months along, and she could still fit nicely into a wedding dress, given her belly wasn't too obvious yet.
To Lizetta, a wedding was just a ceremony to declare their marriage. It didn't need to be grand, as long as it included the people they cared about most, it would be perfect.
"Aren't you worried it's too rushed?" She looked at Remington, a bit concerned he might have other thoughts.
Remington pondered for a moment, already having a lead on Stella's last known whereabouts. In two weeks, they should have some answers.
He then stroked Lizetta's hair, leaning in to kiss her forehead, nodding, "Then it's settled, in two weeks. Whatever you want, honey."
His tone was indulgent, Lizetta's cheeks tinting pink, her smile sweet and filled with anticipation as she looked at him.
After breakfast, Remington drove Lizetta to the dance troupe himself.
He asked Lina to stay with Lizetta at the troupe, instructing Lina to take good care of her and to contact him immediately if anything came up, before he left in his Bentley that had been following them. Lizetta, not wanting to hold back the dance troupe's progress, put in extra effort in her rehearsals over the next few days.
At noon, just after rehearsal, Lizetta received a call from the hospital. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
