Roberto was shocked and couldn’t understand what was wrong with both father and son. A doctor rushed inside and with the help of guards, they were both conveyed to the car.

The doctor came out after some minutes, shaking his head. He informed Roberto that they had consumed a hard drug which was affecting them at that time and would wear off after a few hours.

Roberto was furious, he knew Mario didn’t take drugs and his mind drifted to Isabelle. He stared at her angrily and she glared at him.

“Do you know anything about this?” He questioned and she shook her head, a smile curved on her lips.

Isabelle didn’t utter a word as she was led to the car and Alessandro wondered what was going on in her mind.

“I can’t thank you enough, you’ve helped me so much. Thank you” Isabelle broke out, hugging Alessandro immediately as they entered the car.

Alessandro smiled, rubbing her back slightly. “You’ll always be welcome dear” He replied, taking her lips with his.

He tasted her lips, lighting up fire which spread round her body. She moaned and melted to him.

“We could go to your place and have a quickie” She suggested and he kissed her palms.

“No, it’s too dangerous, I don’t want you to get endangered. I’ll see you tomorrow” He replied and started the car. Isabelle felt content with staring at his face.

Her heart was beating very fast and loud, she wondered if he could hear it. “What’s funny?” Alessandro questioned, touching her cheek and she grinned.

“The way we’re close friends is funny, I could remember begging my father to fire you a few days ago” She disclosed and he chuckled.

“And I could remember your sexy legs wrapped around my waist and your amazing moaning filling my house” He replied and she hit him playfully.

He drove inside the house, he restrained himself from giving a good night kiss as she alighted, he drove home, feeling accomplished and satisfied.

Isabelle woke up the next day, grumbling as her maids informed her that she was going to start acting. Her mood brightened when she was informed that Elena and Aurora would be joining her.

She looked forward to acting on the set as she dressed up. She left her room, walked downstairs and passed by her father, ignoring him.

“Young lady!” He drew and she stopped, turning to face him.

“Have you lost your manners? Don’t you know how to greet?”

“Oh! Hey dad” She mocked and turned but he hit his hand on the table furiously, causing her to stop.

“A new date would be discussed for the engagement and you have a few shoots with Andrea, I’ll tell Alessandro to take you to the location at the right time” He informed and walked out, leaving her gaping with shock.

Angrily, she went outside and entered her car, closing the door roughly.

“Good morning angry beauty, who has angered the princess now?” Alessandro teased and she frowned.

“Please don’t, it’s not funny”

“Okay, we’re heading to your first location where you would practice a few scripts and also be spending an hour and 30 minutes, wow! That’s a long time” Alessandro observed, looking at his calendar.

Without uttering another word, he drove to the designated location. Isabelle smiled when she saw Elena and Aurora waiting for her.

“I’ve missed you a lot,” Aurora confessed, hugging her tightly.

“We could have attended the ball yesterday but we were out of town for a few things, did you enjoy the party?” Elena demanded and Isabelle laughed.

“Oh, yes, I did enjoy the party”

“Oh my God! It’s settled, you’re officially engaged to Andrea, lucky you girl” Aurora squealed.

“I’m not lucky, I don’t want to get married to Andrea, I loathe him a lot, let’s talk about meaningful things like the roles I’ll act and yours” Isabelle asserted and the girls began to fill her in on everything.

Lettice walked towards her and Aurora stepped aside, having a disdainful look on her face.

“There you are, you’re late. I’d appreciate it if you keep to time and also start work immediately rather than chitchatting” Lettice adviced and Isabelle rolled her eyes.

“You’re acting as the female lead, I’ll get your script. You don’t have much time and I hope you’re a fast learner because we are behind schedule” Lettice informed and a staff member brought a file.

Lettice brought out a piece of paper and handed it to Isabelle who gaped. “You have just 45 minutes dear” Lettice informed sweetly and walked away.

“I hate her guts” Aurora complained and Elena giggled.

“This is too much! How would I memorize this in just 45 minutes, and damn I have to appear in lots of scenes and change my clothes” Isabelle grumbled and Elena told her to calm down and try to read through the script.

“Yuck! I can’t wear this, it’s too cheap and I might develop a rash. I’ll tell Alessandro to take me home and get some clothes, you should have informed me ahead so I would have brought them” Isabelle said to Lettice who gazed at her with surprise.

“You do know that there are special attires for movies right? Do you think we have the whole day? Get dressed in this cloth and come out now” Lettice ordered, somewhat angry and left the dressing room.

“I’m going to show her that I’m the president’s daughter and can’t be seen wearing rags, what would my fans think when they see me? Damn I can’t” Isabelle muttered and brought out her phone.

“Hey dad, could you send a designer over to the site, I can’t wear the rags that’s available.. but dad, the clothes are cheap and not my thing.. I won’t.. da..” She threw her phone on the table angrily, massaging her temples.

“Isabelle please hurry, it’s time already!” Lettice called, banging on the door. Furiously, she wore the short blue shapeless gown and headed outside.

“Common dear, don’t give me that look, it’s only for a few minutes” Lettice justified and led her to where she was to act.

“Cut! Cut!” The video director said for the fourth time, he looked frustrated, angry and was ready to pounce on anyone who dared disobey.

“You just don’t get it Isabelle, you should have a look of sadness on your face, try not to frown too much and also put in more emotions”

“You stutter sometimes but I’ll have that taken care of” Stanley announced and Isabelle hissed, mumbling some words to herself which got other actors and actresses looking at her with pure hatred.

“Why is she on the set? She’s a terrible actress and doesn’t deserve to get the least role yet you gave her the female lead”

“We can’t work together with her because of her excess complaints about her nails, clothes, skin and status” An actress complained and Isabelle eyed her.

“When opening that trash of yours, open it reasonably or I’ll get guards to help you and could you step back a little I’m covered with your saliva?” Isabelle retorted and the actress puffed angrily.

“Who the hell do you think you are? Do you know how popular I am? Just because you’re the president’s daughter do you think I’m gonna crawl at her feet and worship you…”

“You’re a very big disgrace to your father, running away from the house, talking to ministers rudely and acting obnoxious…”

“I’m still surprised as to why you haven’t been dumped in a psychiatric hospital” Famous actress, Lilian Ray insulted and Isabelle slapped her.

“How dare you!” Lilian retorted, holding her red cheeks.

“You poor little thing, you call yourself an actress yet you got verified a few months ago, you depend on silly old men before you get enough money…”

“You sleep your way around before you get given roles to act, you cheap thing. I can buy you with the snap of my finger” Isabelle retorted angrily and Lilian dragged her hair, making the two girls engage in a battle, struggling to vent their anger on each other.

“What the hell is wrong with both of you?!” The director thundered, both girls looked disheveled and had their faces down.

“Wasn’t my fault, she started it” Isabelle chipped and the director shot her an angry gaze.

“I’m very sorry, I didn’t do anything wrong. All I did was ask her to stop whining and complaining, she got infuriated and started calling me a slut, saying “I’m always on your bed and I get roles by sleeping with directors” Lilian lied calmly, her eyes teary.

“I’m sorry for whatever she had said to Lilian, I’ll make sure she gets punished for that” The director informed and Lilian beamed with a triumphant smile while Isabelle looked at them with disbelief and shock.

Lilian left the director’s office, smiling broadly.

“What was that all about? You’ll get me punished for what exactly? She was the one who actually bullied me” Isabelle complained, looking at the director defiantly.

“I don’t care if she bullied you or not, you’re just a new actress. Do you think you’ll make any progress if you fight with your senior colleagues?”

“You should learn to be humble, you may leave and also the reports I get about you is making me feel like it’s a terrible thing to make you the female lead”

“Try to show us that you’re good at something, that you can act even if it’s not perfectly” The director advised and with a puff, Isabelle left his office.

She didn’t work far before she saw a group of actresses and actors, all clamoring before Lilian.

“It’s a good thing the director is an honest one and isn’t swayed by money or else we’d have more of her type as actresses”

“Senior Lilian should avoid being around her or fighting with her, it might tarnish her image or bring bad luck”

“I’m sure she knows nothing about acting and got this role through her father, the president. I hate it when people use the little power they have excessively”

Several small actresses and actors criticized and hissing, Isabelle walked past them to see Lettice with an angry look.

“Great, it’s your turn to scold me. Hit me with what you’ve got” Isabelle muttered.

“I’m not gonna scold you, all I’ll do is warn you. You should steer clear of scandals and arguments with big actresses, it’ll only tarnish your image and get you more haters” Lettice informed and walked out.
