Chapter 3023
The moment Lothar realized mental attacks didn't work on Nathan anymore, the former changed his fighting style. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.
His body moved swiftly, disappearing like a phantom as he closed in on Nathan. Raising his palm, he struck Nathan with a deceptively gentle attack.
Nathan remained standing at the same spot. It seemed that he intended to receive his opponent's attack straight on without dodging.
Bam!
Lothar's palm hit squarely on Nathan's chest.
Nathan's body trembled.
And in the next second, a giant palm-shaped hole appeared on the wall dozens of meters behind Nathan with a loud rumbling sound. Immediately afterward, Lothar weightlessly leaped backward with a smile creeping up his face. "After this hit, you will die—"
Initially, Lothar wanted to say that Nathan would certainly die after receiving his palm strike.
However, before he could finish, his words came to an abrupt halt.
To his surprise, he found that Nathan was standing perfectly fine with only a little blood on the corner of his mouth.
His breathing was somewhat regular, too.
Although he was hurt, he was far from dying.
This time, even Lothar was astonished.
What a strong will to live!
Is this the iron will and sturdy body honed from the depths of war?
Spit!
Nathan spat a mouthful of blood next to his foot before saying," This is the second strike."
Lothar frowned.
The elites of Heavenly City exchanged glances.
The God of War really lives up to his name. He managed to withstand two of the Allfather's strikes wholly without dodging or falling.
At the side, Colin was so anxious that sweat beaded all over his head. He desperately wished he could take Nathan's place and bear the opponent's blows.
Kerry, on the other hand, tightened her fists, and worry was evident on her face. She was afraid that Nathan would collapse.
Meanwhile, Sevan seemed as if he had recalled something.
He was staring angrily at Lothar with murderous intent and hatred evident in his eyes.
Just then, when Lothar was going to attack Nathan for the third time, Sevan's furious voice rang out loudly. "Lothar! I think of you as my idol, but you thought of me as a test animal? You tricked and lured me to Heavenly City, imprisoned me, and transformed me into a human weapon. You're also the one who made me do your dirty work when I lost my memories. Now that my memories are back, I'll kill you!"
As soon as he finished, Sevan rushed toward Lothar in a crazed manner.
At that, the Heavenly Guardians present were about to step forward and intercept him when Lothar snorted in disdain. "Don't stop him. Let him come and meet his doom."
In a split second, Sevan had arrived in front of Lothar and unleashed a barrage of attacks on the latter.
However, Lothar effortlessly blocked all of Sevan's attacks.
Right after that, the former threw both his palms forward.
With a roar, Sevan, too, threw both his hands forward and fought Lothar head-on.
Bam! Bam!
Simultaneously, two loud sounds thundered in the air.
Lothar revealed his twin gold and silver gloves. The golden side was as hot as fire, while the silver side was as cold as ice.
At the moment of impact, Sevan's
right arm froze, whereas his left arm
was charred black. He flew
backward, screaming in agony, and
crashed to the ground with a heavy thud.
Looking at the dying Sevan, Lothar harrumphed before saying, "Now, you're not even qualified to be my dog. Die."
With that, Lothar raised his palm and attempted to land one last strike on Sevan.
Before he could do that, however, a figure blocked his way.
Nathan appeared in front of Lothar.
"Your opponent is me," he said coldly.
Chancing upon that gap, Colin and Kerry dashed out and carried Sevan away from the scene.
Sevan's right arm was frozen stiff, with many areas bruised with frostbite, while his left arm was scorched black with blood oozing from the cracks. Other than that, he also suffered severe internal injuries.
Colin and Kerry stared at Sevan in horror. Lothar's Gold and Silver Twin Strike was terrifying.
Meanwhile, Lothar wasn't at all bothered by what happened to the insignificant Sevan.
He focused his gaze on Nathan again and said in an amused tone, “Okay. I'll kill you first. I want to see whether you can withstand my three strikes." “Bring it!" Nathan responded in a deep voice.
As Lothar slowly raised his palms, a strong aura emanated from his body, and his clothes fluttered even without the presence of wind.
It was clear to everyone he was charging up for an attack.
“Gold and Silver Twin Strike!" Lothar roared as his hands, with gold and silver gloves on each side, shot out at the same time, heading toward Nathan.
