Salute To The General

Chapter 3021

Master?

Everyone present was stunned when Nathan said that.

No one expected that the Allfather of Heavenly City was also Nathan's master.

Out of everyone around, Kerry wore the most complicated expression.

She stared at Lothar, who was her master's best friend, in disbelief.

When Hermes thought Lothar could be in trouble, the former immediately headed to Ariarica to try and save his friend. In the end, he landed in trouble himself.

Kerry could not believe that the person her master risked his life for was the infamous and mysterious Allfather of Heavenly City.

"Shame on you, Old Mr. Macmaster!" Kerry could not help crying out loud.

"Not only did you betray your country, but you even harmed my master, who regarded you as his best friend and risked his life for you! You are worse than a monster!" she screamed.

Everyone turned to look at Lothar.

Even those from Heavenly City had no clue what was going on.

"Lothar was a highly regarded elite from Eurasia, so why did he turn his back on Eurasia and help set up Heavenly City? Why did he help Ariarica with Project Ragnarok?" Kerry directed those questions to the men from Heavenly City.

Nathan looked at Lothar, too, quietly waiting for his reply.

He had the same questions in his mind, but as he was indebted to Lothar, he could not pointedly ask those questions out loud.

Lothar was unfazed even when he was facing all those accusations and doubts.

"Betray? I'm not a Eurasian, so how does that word apply to me?" he mockingly asked.

Not a Eurasian?

Nathan was taken aback by that declaration. "As far as I know, you were born and bred in Eurasia, and you were even considered a rare gem in the martial arts world of Eurasia. How are you not a Eurasian?" he asked.

"Who said being raised in Eurasia means I'm a Eurasian?" Lothar stood arrogantly with his hands behind his back.

"Since you're all going to be dead

soon anyway, let me tell you a secret. I'm the descendant of a prominent family in Jetroina. My father was the commander of the Jetroinian Navy at that time. Unfortunately, he died during battle and perished in Eurasia. He dated my mother, a Eurasian lady, before his death, and I was their child. As such, I was raised in Eurasia. It was only about a decade ago that the Jetroinians found me and told me the truth about my identity," related Lothar.

Colin, Kerry, and all those present were dumbstruck by that revelation.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

Nathan was devastated too, and his face fell.

"So you reclaimed your identity, pledged loyalty to Jetroina, and were persuaded by them to work with Ariarica? That's why you set up Heavenly City

and helped them with Project Ragnarok?" he asked.

"Isn't that obvious?" Lothar proudly said.

"Although your father was a Jetroinian, your mother was a Eurasian, and you were raised in Eurasia. Even if you were not grateful for the support you received when you were in Eurasia, do you have to be Jetroina's accomplice and turn your back on us to harm our people? Do you have to go so far as to imprison Hermes, who was your best friend, and kill your faithful servant, Kraven?" Nathan

questioned.

“Accomplice? That's a wrong choice of word. We're merely serving different interests," Lothar coldly retorted.

He then added, "I've never asked

Hermes to come to my rescue. He

stupidly got himself involved. It was on account of our friendship that I spared his life and merely

nét

imprisoned him. As for Kravend knew him too well. That's why did not tell him the truth and left him in Eurasia. It was unfortunate that he decided to risk his life to come here. You can't blame me for that!"

The Lothar in front of Nathan was like a stranger to the latter. He couldn't believe the extremely talented master, whom he had always held in high esteem, was such a ruthless traitor who had no qualms about betraying those who loved and supported him.
