Salute To The General

Chapter 2979

Meanwhile, at the naval headquarters in Jetroina, a piece of Eurasian international news was broadcasted on television. "This morning, Eurasian fishermen on Daragon Island—"

Everyone only heard a small part of the news before Hidetake stormed toward the electronic device and smashed it.

Then, Hidetake turned around to sweep his gaze across his subordinates before voicing coldly, "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm unsure how to describe my current mood. 'Furious' seems to be the only word that comes to mind."

The generals at the scene kept their heads down and dared not make a sound, for they could all tell how infuriated Hidetake was.

However, they did not blame the man because Jetroina was dealt a heavy blow when they lost the Four Gods of Warrior and countless soldiers.

It was natural that Hidetake boiled with anger that only dissipated slightly after he destroyed the television.

"Don't keep silent as if you're all mute. Tell me your thoughts and provide me with some suggestions," instructed Hidetake coldly as he stood staring at the others.

“General Hidetake, there aren't many in Eurasia who can kill Kiyoshi and the other Four Gods of Warrior."This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

"From our initial assessment, the person who murdered our Four Gods of Warrior while hiding behind a Leviathan mask could very well be Eurasia's God of War, Nathan Cross."

"We suggest bombing Daragon Island and razing the island to the ground to get rid of Nathan for good."

"That's right. If we destroy Daragon Island, we'll destroy Nathan."

"What a terrible idea!" exclaimed Hidetake, stunning everyone and making them stare blankly at him.

The Jetroinian general then scoffed, "Do you think you're the only ones who've thought of bombing Daragon Island? Do you believe the Eurasians aren't prepared for such an assault and that the South Army, consisting of three hundred thousand men, is a joke? Their submarines and

whatnots will fire missiles to

intercept ours the second we launch our attack."

While everyone else kept silent, Hidetake continued, "Why did we have to disguise ourselves as fishermen on the island? That way we could withdraw ourselves at any time, and none would be the wiser. If we mobilize our military forces and send out the jets and the warships, we'll be risking an all-out war, won't we? What can we do then? It's not as if we have a chance fighting against Eurasia!"

Immediately, the others' faces turned as grim as death.

“General Hidetake, are we going to let this go? We just lost all the Four Gods of Warrior," reminded someone suddenly.

"You're not wrong," responded Hidetake calmly. "That b*stard, Nathan, has backed us into a corner."

The room fell into silence once again

before Hidetake informed, "I've

received a call from Admiral Max, and he told me he'd arranged a group of military experts to assist us. Along with them are a dozen God-of-War-level experts from our alties. This is going to be huge support."

As soon as the generals of the Jetroinian Navy heard that, their faces lit up. We'll have experts from all over the world hunt down Eurasia's God of War, Nathan, on Daragon Island!
