Salute To The General

Chapter 2968

Colin stood proudly as he pinned an icy glare at Akuma. "What kind of self-respecting hero poisons his weapons? You filthy Jetroinan cheats! You're unworthy of being fought against!"C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.

Akuma was initially enraged by the insult, but realization dawned upon him when he recognized who Colin was.

"Aren't you the Commander of Nathan Cross' National Guard? I remember now. You are Colin Dunne, Deputy Commander of the Brimmopolis Capital Garrison."

Akuma then smirked as he continued, "Why didn't you stay in your cozy little capital? Did you come here to die? Well, I may not have the confidence to kill the Eurasian God of War, but I have plenty of confidence in sending you to meet your maker. This is a piece of cake! If you're not convinced, why don't you fight me to the death?"

Coldly, Colin retorted, "Fine. I agree to your silly challenge."

After saying that, he motioned to the ship's captain behind him. "Increase your speed and ram into them."

In an instant, Colin's fishing boat shot out of the line, hurtling toward Akuma's own vessel.

Boom!

Colin's boat collided violently with Akuma's, nearly crushing the latter's boat to pieces.

The Jetroinan troops could not help but let out panicked yells.

Colin's vessel, along with both Akuma's and Pallav's were all tightly squished together.

As if treading on level ground, Colin strode in Akuma's direction. "I heard that you're quite slippery. I'll happily take you on."

With only half a katana left in his hands, Akuma eyed the long saber that Colin was armed with. His eyes darted back and forth before he came up with a plan. "My weapon is broken. I'd suggest settling this without using weapons."

Colin snorted in response. "As you wish. I'll beat the living cr*p out of you with my bare hands."

Akuma was quite angry at Colin's blasé attitude, thinking that his opponent was not taking him seriously at all.

Akuma then grinned and said, "Come, come. I'd love to see who dies first."

Like a black panther, Akuma charged at Colin with a raised fist, intending to punch the latter in the face.

Colin smirked coldly, using a hand to deflect Akuma's incoming blow.

With lightning speed, Akuma unleashed even more blows at a frenzied pace.

Colin seemed to be unfazed by the whole thing, nonchalantly deflecting all the punches. Soon, he spotted an opening in Akuma's defenses. Forming a fist, he punched hard, hitting his opponent squarely in the fist.

Bang!

Both punches collided so violently that it sent chills down the onlookers' spines.

Colin stood calmly in his spot, having not moved an inch.

Akuma's face contorted in pain. He hurriedly backed away by seven or eight paces, unable to stand straight. His right hand was so swollen it barely resembled a fist anymore.

Colin said, "This is an attrition battle of absolute strength, so your dirty tricks are futile. Today, you are going to perish in despair as I crush you. There will be nothing you can do."

Having said that, Colin strode towards Akuma.

A flurry of emotions could be seen on Akuma's face, ranging from fear, to surprise, to rage. Suddenly, he raised his hand.

Whoosh!

More than a dozen concealed weapons flew at Colin in rapid succession.

As one flew past Colin's head, he realized that they were shurikens.

The sight of that enraged Pallav.

The Eurasian troops also felt very angry seeing that.

"You little sh*t First, you used a poison-coated blade in your fight against Major-general Pallav. How shameless must you be to resort to such tactics against General Dunne when you both agreed to not use any weapons at all?"

With a cold snort, Colin used his left hand to simulate a plucking motion. Very quickly, all the shurikens headed his way dropped to the floor like flies. The scene drew more applause from the Eurasian warrior camp.

Pallav couldn't help but sigh in appreciation. "General Dunne truly has the composure of Chief Military Governor."

With a flick of his hands, Colin pushed away the concealed weapons that were headed his way. He quickened his steps and soon stood face-to-face with Akuma.

Akuma recoiled in fear as he began a shoddy attempt at getting out of this impasse. Desperately, Akuma raised a fist and swung it in Colin's direction. Using his left hand, Colin held Akuma by the wrist in a viselike grip. With his right hand free, Colin then slammed a massive punch straight into Akuma's unguarded face.

After a few consecutive punches,

Akuma's nose was broken, his jaw shattered, and his sockets could no longer hold his eyes intact. All that was left of Akuma's face was a dripping mass of blood and flesh.

When Colin let go, the man slumped to the ground with a thump.

Colin raised his right foot and brought it down, hard.

A sickening crunch could then be heard as Colin stepped on Akuma's head, smashing it onto the deck of the boat with a flourish.

As he watched his enemy fall, Colin knew that that spelled the end of Akuma Masaru.
