Chapter 2654
In a villa on Jersus Hill, Seamus and his family were about to head out. He was flanked by his wife, son, and parents.
He told them, "Wait here. I'll drive the car out of the garage."
Without warning, a rumble of the engine pierced the air. A few Jeeps with military plates screeched to a halt in front of the Valeman residence.
Seamus and his family halted in their tracks, utterly surprised.
A middle-aged man clad in his military uniform stepped out of the vehicle.
The man was tall, and his eyes were red. However, his skin was as pale as a corpse. Even his lips were drained of color.
He resembled a walking corpse. It was daytime, but he looked really scary.
This man was none other than Brayion.
Brayion was dressed in a military uniform. Thirty of his men emerged from the rest of the vehicles.
His men were also clad in military
uniforms.
It turned out that Brayion and his subordinates had worn military uniforms and used fake military license plates to conceal their identities. They were masquerading as soldiers.
Without hesitation, Brayion's men surrounded Seamus and his family.
Assuming the "soldiers" had shown up under Nathan's order, Seamus went pale. Flustered, he demanded, "Who are you? What are you doing at my house?"
Brayion flashed a menacing smile. He growled, "I'm here on orders to arrest you. Please get into the car and leave with us."
Hearing that, Seamus jolted in fright. "Who gave you that order? I'm the person in charge of the Royal Medical Department in the White House. Mr. Holmes, a Cab member, is a friend of mine. How dare you arrest me?"
Brayion sneered, "Don't challenge my patience. If you refuse to get into the car, I'll kill you right here. It's the same if I return with your bodies." What?
Seamus and his family were stunned.
Brayion added frostily, "Are you coming or not?"
Seamus still assumed they were acting under Nathan's order. His expression grim, he was about to cave in when another convoy of vehicles arrived. Rumble!
Over ten black SUVS screeched to a halt before them.
Seamus and his family gaped in shock.
Brayion and his men, on the other hand, were frowning. Under Colin's lead, dozens of armed soldiers clad in black uniforms emerged from the vehicles.
Funnily, Brayion and his men were masquerading as soldiers to hide their identities.
Colin and his men, however, didn't wear military uniforms, as they were trying to keep a low profile. They were wearing black helmets and black uniforms.
Both sides froze instantly. They couldn't help but wonder who the other party was.
Seamus thought Brayion was Nathan's man, so he immediately assumed that Colin and his men wearing helmets were sent by Erwin to save him. Deep down, he was elated. Thank goodness Mr. Holmes received news and sent his men to save me. Otherwise, the Chief Military Governor's men would've arrested me.
Seamus ushered his family aside and observed both parties. Can the men in black sent by Mr. Holmes defeat the soldiers?
Behind Brayion, his subordinates grabbed their guns and stared at
Colin's party.
Colin's subordinates also gripped their sub-machine guns and glared at Brayion's party.
Both sides were having a face off.
Colin was observing Brayion, and Brayion was doing the same. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
Brayion announced coolly, "Were in the middle of a mission. Who are you? Please make way, or you shall bear the consequences."
Colin noticed how weird Brayion looked. The latter didn't look like a soldier, so it was obvious he was fake.
The Holmes family had most probably sent him here to take out the Valeman family.
Snorting, Colin asked, "May I know which army you are from?"
"I'm not telling you!" came Brayion's icy answer.
Amused, Colin said, "If I'm not mistaken you're here for Seamus Valeman, right? Sorry, but we're here for him, too. If you allow Seamus and his family to come with us, we'll leave right away."
A malicious look flashed across Brayion's eyes. "Oh, you'll meet your
doom today."

He raised his gun and fired a shot in Colin's direction.
Right when he lifted his gun, Colin moved swiftly and appeared before him in a flash. He was about to pull the trigger when Colin grabbed his wrist and forced him to point the gun upward.
Bang!
Brayion's shot fired into the air.
Brayion had no idea Colin was this swift. Shocked, he no longer looked down on his opponent and unleashed his skills. He raised his knee and delivered a blow to Colin's belly to try to defeat Colin.
Colin used his other hand to block Brayion's knee. They were soon involved in an intense fight.
Both Colin's and Brayion's subordinates didn't stay put.
When Colin and Brayion were busy fighting, they started firing their guns nonstop. The place turned into a battleground.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Terrified, Seamus shielded his family
as they went on their knees. They were trembling in fear.
