Salute To The General

Chapter 2542

The princess nodded her head.

However, instead of heading straight toward Nathan, she instructed a guard to bring her a combat suit before changing into them.

In the fighting arena, a beautiful young lady from Rcmdik appeared in front of Nathan.

The man was stunned for a moment before quickly realizing that the woman was Sofie, Remdik's youngest princess.

With a slight bow, he greeted, "Your

Royal Highness, is there anything I can help you with?"

Intrigued by the man, Sofie fixed her gaze on Nathan and answered smilingly, "Chief Cross, we are extremely impressed by your powerful abilities and admire you from the bottom of our hearts. Even General Remington, our very own God of War, is very interested in you. As such, my father has sent me here to ask if you are willing to have a sparring match with him."

Leopold!

Remdik's God of War!

Relying on his iron fists, the man, who had twenty years of military experience, had grown from just an ordinary soldier to his current status as Remdik's God of War.

In a way, Leopold and Nathan shared similar experiences.

The only difference between the two men was that from an ordinary soldier, it took Leopold twenty years to become Remdik's God of War, whereas, Nathan only required five years to become Eurasia's God of War.

Nathan had heard of Leopold for a long time and did not expect that there would be an opportunity for them to compete against each other.

After just a moment of hesitation, Nathan agreed. "I've heard so much about the legendary General Remington. It's an honor for me to be able to spar with such a legend. I'm more than willing to have a match with the general."

At the same time, Gammon, Leopold, Rogan and the rest were watching the exchange between Nathan and Sofie that was live-streamed on the big

screen.

When they heard that Eurasia's Chief Military Governor had agreed to spar with Leopold, everyone cheered, feeling a rush of excitement. Secretly delighted, Rogan sneaked a glance at Leopold.

Leopold remained calm and composed. He seemed to be full of confidence as if he was certain that he would be able to defeat any strong fighters in the world.

Rogan was stupefied for a moment after noticing Leopold's expression.

In fact, he could not say for sure who the stronger one was between Leopold and Nathan.

If Leopold ended up defeating

Nathan, his ploy to sabotage Leopold would have the opposite effect and end up boosting the general's fame instead.

Just then, Gammon was full of smiles as he said to Leopold, "General Remington, Eurasia's Chief Military Governor has already agreed to spar with you. You should go get ready."

Seeing how things had turned out, Leopold continued to stay calm, knowing that he had no choice but to step up to the task.

Since that was how the situation had progressed, the general decided to just go with the flow and try his best to win.

Leopold raised his hand to give a military salute and replied, "Yes, Your Royal Highness!"

Shortly after, the man entered the fighting arena.

A few soldiers brought over a combat suit and put it on for the general.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

In the fighting arena, Nathan suddenly felt a wave of ripples in the air before a tall figure appeared before him.

That person was none other than Remdik's God of War, Leopold.

"So you're Remdik's God of War?"

“And you're Eurasia's Chief Military Governor?"

While Nathan was sizing Leopold up, Leopold was also doing the same.

Leopold's virtual self looked exactly like how he looked like in real life in terms of physical build and facial features.

On the other hand, Nathan still kept his Leviathan mask on.

The truth was that the combat simulation system was capable of detecting Nathan's face and

exposing However, Gammon had instructed the technical staff not to expose Nathan's looks without his permission. Also, no one was allowed to make use of the system to check out what Nathan actually looked like.

In fact, right from the start, Gammon had told the technical staff not to scan the man's face, but to scan his mask instead.

As a result of the respect Remdik had been showing toward Nathan, no one knew what he looked like. There was also a sense of mystery surrounding Nathan's virtual self as he had not been seen without the Leviathan mask.

At that moment, Leopold stood proudly before Eurasia's Chief

Military Governor. Fixing his gaze on his opponent, the general said calmly, "ve competed against countless strong fighters but haven't had a chance to spar with anyone from Eurasia before. This is the perfect opportunity for me to find out what the skill level of Eurasia's fighters is."

Nathan smiled and said, "I'm also curious to find out how formidable Remdik's strongest fighter is."
