Rush: Part One & Two (The Pitstop Series Book 3)

Rush: Part One & Two: Part 1 – Chapter 38

I shoot up in bed, trying to figure out where I am. My eyes scan the room, and I find the now-familiar bookshelf, the sun shining through the tall windows, and finally, Gabriel, sleeping peacefully next to me. My heart rate slows, and I lie back in bed. He must have carried me up here after I fell asleep on the couch.

Gabriel lets out a painful sigh. He’s still fast asleep, but his eyelids are fluttering, and there is an odd expression on his face. I’m convinced he’s having a nightmare, but I also don’t wake him. Gabriel needs to rest to get rid of the dark circles under his eyes. I can’t stand to see him as exhausted as he was yesterday. Yesterday… The memories come flooding back into my head, and I smile brightly. My mind replays how his lips felt on mine, how his hand felt on my skin. Nothing has ever felt that good.

I try to distract myself by getting out of bed and walking downstairs. When I reach the kitchen, I decide to make breakfast for the sleeping man upstairs and myself.

“Valentina?” I hear someone ask, and I turn to find Jean standing behind me. There is a handsome smile on his lips, and a blush settles on my cheek. Now there’s one person I can’t possibly hide Gabriel’s and my… relationship? from. “Finally. Only took you guys three years,” he blurts out and sits down at the kitchen table.

“Oh no, we’re not…” I don’t even know what to tell Jean. Gabriel and I are just fooling around. That wouldn’t sound appropriate in any way.

“You’re something, which gets you a step closer to becoming everything.” Jean smiles at me, and I shake my head.

“You want breakfast?” He frowns and gets up from his seat.

“Yes, but you’re not making it. You’re the guest, and I will make breakfast for you.” I recall the last time Jean tried to make a meal and flinch. Luckily, I can convince him to make it together. He starts to talk to me about Lia, and I listen closely, even though my mind is preoccupied with Gabriel upstairs.

“Chérie,” a voice says, and I look up to see a half-naked Gabriel. “You weren’t there when I woke up,” he mutters, and I realize he must have woken up and run downstairs when he couldn’t find me. His eyes are still half-closed, and he is rubbing them to wake up. “I thought you left.” Gabriel rubs his left arm, and I close the distance between us. The left side of his face has marks all over it, probably from his pillow. I grin at the sleepy man.

“Nope. Jean and I were just making breakfast,” I assure him, and he takes my face between his hands. There is a concerned expression on his face, and it worries me. “What’s wrong?” Gabriel shakes his head, and his lips find mine before he even answers my question. He’s aggressive, but I enjoy the gentle assault he’s doing to my lips. The affection, his face and body, and his kindness all make me want to stay in his arms.

“I just had a horrible dream,” he explains, and I nod. I knew it!

“Well, I’m here, and breakfast is ready,” I inform him, and he places one more kiss on my lips before we walk over to the table and sit down.

Jean cut some fruits, and I made the pancakes. Both guys assure me they taste ‘incroyable’. After we finish breakfast, Gabriel and Jean clean up the table, not allowing me to move an inch. When they’re done, Gabriel walks over to me and reaches his hand out. I place mine in his, and he pulls me close to his body.

“Take a shower with me,” he whispers, and shivers run down my spine. Gabriel grins at me when I nod slowly.

We walk into his large bathroom, and for the first time, I really look at it. The shower is oversized and has glass doors, and his bathtub is enormous. Everything is white and beige, and I’m too mesmerized by how lovely it is to realize Gabriel got naked, but once I do, I can’t tear my eyes away. It is as if his body is calling out, and I’m the only one who can hear. His back is turned to me, which is why I finally get to see the infamous moon tattoo. It may have been a joke, but it looks… it looks terrific on his trained ass.

I undress before pulling my hair out of its messy bun. My curls fall loosely down my back, and when Gabriel turns around, my eyes drop down his body. He closes the distance between us, and I finally look into his eyes again, which are filled with lust. His hands move to my breasts, and I close my eyes as soon as his fingers find my skin. It’s an automatic reaction, just like the familiar ache which has now returned to my needy body. There are goosebumps all over my body by the time he reaches the waistband of my underwear. Before he pulls them down, he leans down to press a kiss to my lips, my neck, my collarbone, and then my left nipple. He tugs on one of my hard nipples with his mouth, making a moan leave my lips. Gabriel leans down further, placing kisses along my stomach and then my hip bone. His fingers move down, pulling my panties with them. Although I ache for him, he’s not touching me anymore. Opening my eyes, I search for the reason why, but Gabriel is simply standing back, admiring my body. My heart skips a beat when I see his erection, and the distance between us frustrates me. I take a step toward him, and he takes my hand, leading me into the shower.

“Hot or cold?” he asks me, and I lean against the shower wall, staring at his body. The heat between my legs makes me dizzy, but I can’t describe how much I enjoy it.

“Hot,” I reply, and he flashes me a smile, his dimples carved deeply into his cheeks.

“Yes, Milady,” he tells me and turns the water hot. The shower soon fills with steam, and Gabriel turns back around to pin me against the shower wall.

His hands lift to my breasts, and he cups them softly, sending a thrill through my body. I wrap my arms around his neck and bring my lips to his in need of more contact. He makes me so impatient. His length pushes against my thigh, and I smile against his lips. I turn us around to push him against the wall, and my mouth moves to his jawline. His stubble tickles me, but I don’t laugh. I’m too concentrated on what is going to happen next.

“You have to tell me what to do,” I say, and Gabriel’s eyes shoot open. He’s watching me as I go down on my knees, in front of his erection. My hands wrap around him, and I start simply moving my hands back and forth.

“Val,” he moans, and I glance up at him. His eyes find mine, and his legs start to shake long before I bring my lips to the head of his length. Seconds later, he orgasms in my hands.

“That was fast,” I state, and he lets out a short laugh.

“I know, trust me, I know. The way you looked up at me through those thick lashes of yours and the way your naked body looks, I don’t know, it just kind of happened.” He is embarrassed by it, but there is no reason for him to be. He seems to panic a little bit. “Don’t worry, it usually takes much longer, I can last much longer,” he quickly adds, trying to convince me, or himself, I’m not quite sure. I smile at him knowingly.

“I know, handsome. I’m not worried.” He nods, and before anything else can happen, there is a loud banging on the bathroom door, making both of us jump.

“Gabriel, Hector is here, and he is not happy,” Jean screams from the other side of the locked door, and Gabriel’s head hits the tile wall behind him.

“Tell him to wait a moment. I’m busy,” Gabriel replies before dropping his hand to my second heartbeat. I press my lips together to keep from making a sound. “I would never leave you unsatisfied, chérie,” he whispers before his fingers dip into my heat and his thumb caresses my swollen clit. My legs go weak, but Gabriel holds me up effortlessly. His touch has complete control over my body. I bite my bottom lip, but a low moan escapes me anyway. Everything inside of me tenses with every thrust of his fingers. His thumb applies just the right pleasure to make standing without his help impossible.

“Gabriel,” I whine when he goes faster, and his mouth moves to my earlobe.

“Let me feel you cum on my fingers,” he whispers with a raspy voice, and I instantly fall apart. The tension from before leaves my body and is replaced with pure joy and bliss. Gabriel slowly removes his fingers, pulls me close by grabbing my butt, and smashes his lips onto mine. I let out one last moan before he steps away.

“I’m sorry, chérie, I have to go deal with this.” Gabriel opens the shower door and steps out. I want to answer him, but my mind is still in paradise, and all I can do is smile.

When I’m dressed, I roam around Gabriel’s bedroom, and my feet carry me to the bookshelf. My mind still hasn’t registered that Gabriel collects old books with writings in them. I grab Die For Me from the shelf again. The copy is much more worn out than all of the other books on the shelf. There are three different kinds of handwriting on the pages, and I notice one of them is Gabriel’s. I spot words like confusion and desperation on the pages. I have a deep feeling he’s talking more about himself than the book.

I sit down on Gabriel’s bed and continue to read his comments. The struggle within her… fighting against her feelings… the revelation of his true self makes her leave… can she ever really love him if they’re so different?Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

I get so lost in the book I don’t realize an hour has passed. There is no sign of Gabriel anywhere in the house, so I decide to head home. Also, I should probably text James back. He’s been trying to contact me since yesterday morning, and I completely forgot to respond. It takes three rings until he finally picks up.

“‘Ello, babe,” he chimes into the phone, and I smile. His accent is unbelievably thick.

“Hey, I’m sorry I haven’t texted you. Things have been a little crazy,” I say while gathering my things, including Die For Me.

“Don’t worry, luv. I have some time today if you want to catch up,” he offers, and I tell him to meet me at my house in fifteen minutes.
