After repeatedly failing to get rid of James, she could only resort to peacefully negotiating with him.

James sensed Thea's condition and knew she would be in trouble if she did not refine the Spiritual Power soon.

He sat into a lotus position on the ground and began to silently treat his wounds.

Thea seized the opportunity and began to focus on refining the Spiritual Power.

A few moments later, Thea completely refined it, and her strength increased slightly. She restrained her aura, and the evil energy emitting from her body also disappeared.

Thea stood up, walked over to James, and examined him from head to toe.

"Who are you, brat? How are you related to Soren Plamen?" asked Thea.

When they were in Origin City, she witnessed James use the Blithe Omniscience. She could tell he was pretty familiar with the Supernatural Power. In the Greater Realms, the person with the highest attainments in the Blithe Omniscience was Soren. Therefore, she naturally associated James with Soren.

After treating most of his wounds, James stood up and looked at Thea.

The Thea before him did not have the maturity or composure of the Human Race's matron. Instead, she looked youthful and mischievous, very different from the evilness she showed some moments ago.

James cupped his fists and said, "My name is James Caden."

"James Caden? I've never heard of you before. I don't care who you are, just stay away from me. If you continue following me, I won't show you mercy."

After giving a warning, Thea turned around and left.

However, James ignored her threat and continued following her.

Thea halted in her tracks, turned to him, and said helplessly, "What exactly do you want from me?"

James replied, "I want to guide you back on a righteous path. I'll keep following you until you do so."

"Are you not afraid I'll kill you?"

Thea's face darkened, and she summoned her long sword. She charged at James and pressed her sword against his chest.

James calmly looked at the furious Thea and replied, "Although you've reached the peak of the Terra Acme Rank, you've been relying on wicked ways to elevate your rank. Thus,

your strength doesn't match up net

with

your cultivation rank. I've mastered the various Paths of heaven and earth and am at the Omnisciecne Path's Eighth Stage. I'm afraid you don't have what it takes to obliterate me in one blow. You won't ever be able to get rid of me as long as you can't kill me instantly."

She put away her long sword and dissipated her evil aura. Then, she

James responded firmly, "Not possible."

Thea was rendered speechless.

"Fine, do what you want."

She stopped bickering with him and disappeared from the area.

Thea left the desolate area and appeared at a prosperous city.

She wore a black dress, giving her a glamorous and sexy appearance. She no longer emitted any evil aura and had a very cheerful smile.

Thea strolled around the city and checked out various places. It looked like she was a child excited to visit a new place.

James followed behind her.

"Hey." Thea turned around and waved at James.

James quickly walked over to her.

Thea smiled and said innocently, "What do you think of this city?"

James was taken aback by her question. He asked, "What do you mean?"

Thea chuckled and said, "I've already scanned the city, and there aren't any powerhouses around. The strongest is only at the Permanence Acme Rank's Early Stage, but there are many Mascorcosm Ancestral Gods. I've decided this city will be my next target."

Thea smirked and continued, saying, "If I continue devouring so many Spiritual Powers, I'll eventually enter the Caelum Acme Rank."

James strode toward her and said coldly, "Don't you dare. There's no way I will allow you to do such things."
