Chapter 803
Caleb thought it was too coincidental that they were all on the same flight. Equally surprised was Aiken. He hadn’t expected to run into Skylar, Joe, and Caleb on the return trip.
When Joe saw Aiken, his gaze was noticeably cool, and he only nodded briefly as a greeting.
Skylar greeted Aiken with a smile. “Mr. Parkinson.”
Aiken approached and said, “Mr. Martin, Ms. Sullivan, Caleb, what a
coincidence.”
Even though Aiken sensed Joe’s cool demeanor that came with a hint of barely perceptible hostility, he remained calm and composed.
A few of them exchanged a few words.
Mostly, it was Caleb and Aiken talking incessantly. Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
Soon, it was time to board the plane.
On the flight, there was little conversation.
When the plane landed, Aiken and Caleb left first. They assumed Skylar and Joe would head home together. They were unaware that Skylar had already moved out of the Galaxy Villa and that the couple was living separately.
After collecting her luggage, Skylar told Joe, “I’ll take the airport shuttle. It will take me directly to where I’m staying.”
Paul overheard their conversation and couldn’t help but shout internally, “What the hell? They’re still not back together?”
Even though they hadn’t spoken much on the plane, it didn’t seem like there. was any issue between them. So, Paul wondered why they were still living apart.
This was a big problem.
Fate had already given them such a push. Joe had gotten sick, and they had even spent a night in a hotel together. Yet somehow, they still hadn’t managed to reconcile.
Joe’s lips were tightly pressed together. His eyes narrowed with barely contained anger as he looked at Skylar.
He deliberately emphasized each word. “We’re not divorced yet.”
“Getting divorced now or in a few days doesn’t make any difference. Take care of yourself. I’m leaving now.” Skylar pulled her suitcase and started to walk
away.
The longer she stayed, the more she feared overthinking things. Just for a moment, she thought maybe Joe didn’t want to lose her. Perhaps he was trying to salvage their marriage, reminding her she shouldn’t be living outside.
Suddenly, her suitcase was yanked from her hand
Skylar lifted her gaze to look at Joe, who was holding onto her suitcase. “You.
“Come back to Galaxy Villa with me. Grandma is coming over tomorrow. Give your keys to Paul, and he’ll bring back your things.” Joe’s tone was
commanding, leaving Skylar no room to refuse
It seemed he was using Gloria’s visit as an excuse to get her to come back
with him.
As expected, when Skylar heard that Glona was coming to Galaxy Villa the next day, she didn’t argue further. She handed her keys and home address to Paul.
Paul glanced at the key in his hand, his lips twitching slightly.
It was clear Joe had feelings for Skylar and didn’t want to divorce her. Paul couldn’t help but wonder why Joe couldn’t just be a little kinder to her
With an attitude like that, anyone would think Joe was indifferent to her. No
wonder Skylar had moved out.
In the car, Aiken’s phone pinged with a new message.
It was a photo from one of his subordinates, capturing the scene of him and Skylar at the fondue restaurant the previous day.
He couldn’t help but smile.
“Mr. Parkinson, someone took a photo of you with Ms. Sullivan, and they’re

trying to investigate her background. Should I stop them?”
Aiken’s eyes narrowed, his gaze becoming colder.
He immediately dialed a number and instructed, “Stop them from finding anything on Skylar. Handle the person directly. If anyone else tries to target her in secret, report to me immediately.”
“Yes, Mr. Parkinson.”
At Galaxy Villa, Paul was efficient. He arrived just 40 minutes after them.
Almost everything from Skylar’s rented apartment had been sent back.
Skylar’s lips twitched in exasperation as he looked at the pile before her. She glanced at Paul, who was smiling cheerfully.
