Joe added. 

Skylar glanced up at Joe. She felt protected and somewhat moved. “They will only become even more shameless and try to take advantage of you,” she said. 

Joe smiled and replied, “They won’t dare do that to me.” 

The Williams family was despicable, but his methods were even more unsavory compared to theirs. If they wanted to court death, he would oblige them.
