Chapter 1270 Punishment for Running Away from Home
Selena changed into her pajamas and lay in bed, staring at the ceiling but couldn't fall asleep. She
didn't hide her whereabouts, and Osvaldo should be able to find out that she returned to the Turner
family easily, so she shouldn't worry too much.
After a moment, Selena suddenly sat up and walked to the window, locking it from the inside. She
couldn't afford to be soft-hearted and let Osvaldo get caught in the middle.
But then she remembered the weather forecast she had seen earlier. It would rain tonight. What if the
man really came but couldn't get in and got caught in the rain outside? She was rarely in such a
dilemma.
After about a minute, Selena resignedly walked back and unlocked the window again. She then
returned to bed, covered herself with the blanket, and closed her eyes.
...
An hour later, a black sports car parked outside the gate of the Turner family in the hazy rain. The man
in black clothes and black hair got out of the driver's seat.
Patrick, who had received the news, walked out of the gate and cast a cold glance at Osvaldo. "She
asked me today if you would have intervened if you knew about this matter back then..."
Osvaldo's eyes were cold.
"On matters of principle, Selena will never compromise. This time, Constance must die!" Patrick said in
a cold voice.
The Turner family did not want to let Constance get away with framing Selena.
But first, Dante had intervened to protect Constance, and then Osvaldo had also chosen to tolerate
him. If the Turner family pursued this matter, it would only make things difficult for Selena.
Second, Oscar knew that the Turner family owed Diego a favor and didn't want to turn their backs on
him. But after Constance's true identity as a fake heiress and her malicious nature were exposed, she
had lost the right to live.
Last time, Osvaldo's decision to spare Constance because of Dante had already made the Turner
family very dissatisfied. If he still chooses to side with Dante over Selena, then there would be no need
for the engagement banquet to proceed!
Osvaldo seemed to ignore Patrick's words and walked past him towards the Turner family's gate.
...
In the room, Selena was trying to fall asleep, but she suddenly heard a knock on the door.
She thought it was someone from the Turner family and went to open the door. But when she saw the
man standing at the door, she froze.
Before she could react, the man had forcefully pushed his way in and locked the door behind him.
He glanced at the window and when he realized it wasn't locked from the inside, his cold gaze began to
warm up.
But when he looked at Selena, his expression turned dark again.
She had long hair and was wearing fluffy slippers, with a snow-white stuffed bear in her arms.
If it were someone else-
The man's eyes glinted with a cold light and he picked up Selena, sending her back to bed and
covering her with a blanket. He then held her in his arms.
Selena was still dazed and looked at the man's face which was so close to hers.
Osvaldo's slightly cold fingers touched her delicate face, causing her to shiver.
The man stared into her eyes and a hint of darkness overflowed from his gaze. "Why don't you tell me
if you want Constance to die?"
Selena was stunned.
She looked at the man's cold eyes and felt a bit helpless. "No, I just..."
She didn't want to be caught in the middle.
Osvaldo sensed what she wanted to say and his expression became even colder.
He stared at Selena fiercely and the hand that was around her waist tightened unconsciously.
Selena felt as if her bones were being crushed and cried out in pain.
Osvaldo gazed at Selena's tearful eyes, hesitated for a moment, but strangely didn't let go of her.
The next moment, he suddenly turned over and pressed her under him, fiercely biting her red lips with
his blood-red, thin ones.
Selena's eyes widened suddenly.
Osvaldo had kissed her before, but he had always been gentle.
She had never felt such an aggressive and heart-stopping kiss before.
She also never knew that a kiss used to express love could be so intense.
The breath of the two people intertwined at a negative distance, the warmth from their bodies rubbed
against each other, creating an intimate contact that they had never experienced before.
Just as Selena felt like she was about to suffocate, the man finally let go of her.
Osvaldo had both his hands propped up above her, looking down at Selena who was trapped in his
arms.
The young girl's big dark eyes were wide open, her long hair in disarray, and her delicate red lips were
bitten, which only aroused the man's desire even more.
The sight of the blood-red stain on Selena's lips brought Osvaldo back to his senses, which were on
the brink of losing control.
He closed his eyes and suppressed the dark emotions in his heart. Then he lifted Selena up and gently
helped her fix her hair and clothes.
It wasn't until this moment that Selena came back to her senses. A feeling of indescribable grievance
rushed to her heart as she said, "You..."
Osvaldo kissed her forehead and spoke in an incredibly gentle tone, "It's my fault."
Selena lowered her long eyelashes and said softly, "You bit me..."
Osvaldo's pale fingertips gently stroked the spot of blood on her lips, making her even more alluring.
His eyes darkened as he said, comforting her, "This is the punishment for leaving home without saying
a word!"
Selena's curled eyelashes trembled slightly.RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
Suddenly, she remembered that she had promised this man that she would always tell him where she
was going. But that wasn't what she had intended, and she hadn't tried to hide her whereabouts either.
Selena remained silent.
Osvaldo saw that the young girl was really angry and leaned down to rub her forehead, "You little
rascal, you left without saying a word, and I was so scared..."
He had always been extremely afraid that Selena would leave him.
Since he met her, he had always lived in fear that the person in his arms would leave him at any
moment.
When Leia called and told him that Selena had left home alone, Osvaldo was filled with an endless
rage and desire for destruction.
If he hadn't later found out that she had just gone to the Turner family, her punishment would have
been much harsher.
Selena's red lips moved, "I didn't mean to, I just didn't want to make things difficult for you."
Osvaldo looked at the young girl with a hint of resentment in his eyes.
Little did Selena know that her considerate and obedient nature had always been hated by this man.
