A group of people quickly made their way out through the secret passage.

However, each person inside the dark passageway was preoccupied with their heavy thoughts. "We're here."

After about a five-minute walk, which didn't feel spacious and seemed to be a route Wesley used only for his own escape, they emerged from the passage into what appeared to be a desolate stretch of road about 500 meters away from the Tredgold estate. At least, that's what everyone thought until they exited the tunnel and found themselves inside a small house.

This house was a single-story building, covering an area of approximately 2,000 square feet. It looked clean, as if someone regularly maintained it, but it lacked signs of continuous habitation.

Adler didn't feel much until he saw a family photo placed atop a cabinet.

The photo showed a mother and her son.

The woman looked gentle as she held her baby, but notably absent was the role of the husband and father.

Adler fell silent for a moment.

Suddenly, it seemed he understood what this place was.

"This is Rasheta and her son."

Adler managed a bitter smile.

So, just 500 meters from their family home was the secret residence of his father and another woman.

This place felt more like a home than the Tredgold's massive villa.

It seemed his father, his beloved woman, and their child had once shared some happy times here.

"Rasheta?"

Faced with Sophie's confusion, Adler explained, "Reece's mother had a relationship with my father when they were young. They were even engaged, but my father was forced into a business marriage with my mother, relegating Rasheta to the role of the other woman." Reece's mother...

Sophie only knew about Reece's grandmother.

But now that it was clear Reece was associated with The Silent Shadows, it was likely that Reece's

grandmother was just a cover identity.

After Reece's identity was exposed, Sophie had tried to investigate his grandmother, but she had been urgently relocated, leaving no evidence of her true identity.

"There are no signs of Jenna here."

Sophie looked around and said, "Could she have been moved already?"novelbin

"Sir, we've found something."

A bodyguard approached Colby and the others, reporting, "We found footprints over there."

Colby nodded, "Let's check it out."

"Yes."

Sophie quickly noticed the moonlight seeping through the back door, revealing a series of messy footprints.

These footprints seemed to belong to more than just three or four people.

There were at least ten.

The corner of the bedroom had concentrated footprints.

Even inside the wardrobe, there were footprints.

"Sir! There's someone!"

Someone shouted, and everyone immediately ran towards the source of the voice.

Under the cover of night, the backyard looked eerily strange with various disordered footprints and two shivering figures hiding in a corner.

"Marian! Tim!"

Adler rushed over and pulled the two people out. Both were bound and gagged.

As Adler peeled off the tape from their mouths and untied them, they burst into tears upon seeing him.

Tim cried out, "Master! You must hurry and save the lady and Ms. Jenna! They were taken away by a group of men in black!"
