Chapter 1592
She only had two family members in this world, Kiran and her dad.
Growing up, she was without a mother and lacked true friends.
She couldn't bear the thought of her dad getting into trouble, nor could she stand to see her brother become what he is today.
And she definitely didn't want anything bad happening to Sophie and the others.
As Sandy's cries grew louder, Kiran pulled her into his embrace, whispering words of comfort, "Don't worry, Sandy, no one's dying. I won't let anything happen to him." Hearing Kiran's promise, Sandy couldn't hold back her tears any longer, filling the hospital corridor with her sobs.
After calming Sandy down, Kiran had his bodyguard escort her away.
Stepping forward, one of the bodyguards behind Kiran spoke, "Mr. Angelo, our boss is waiting for you just ahead."
"Have you been following me all this way, and plan to keep doing so?"
"I don't like being followed, especially by someone else's men," Kiran said coldly.
The bodyguards remained silent behind him.
They were just following orders.
As long as their boss commanded them to stay by Kiran's side, even if it meant risking their lives, they wouldn't leave him. "You really are your master's loyal dogs."
Kiran had no interest in wasting more words on them.
He headed towards the open door of a hospital room and saw a tall figure in a white shirt standing by the window.
He had wondered who had set up this elaborate scheme, and there he was.
"Reece, you've truly exceeded my expectations."
Kiran had considered everyone but had never thought that Reece, the man by Sophie's side, would be the one.
"Your praise is too kind for me, Mr. Angelo. I'm not worthy of your admiration," Reece said, turning around, his crisp white shirt showing some dried bloodstains.
Noticing Kiran's gaze on his
bloodied shirt, Reece said
nonchalantly, "Just dealt with a few
traitors. Haven't had the chance to
clean up. My apologies for the
unsightly view, Mr. Angelo
"If Sophie knew the person closest to her was the one who betrayed her the most, I'm sure her reaction would be quite interesting."
Kiran had no interest in stirring up their internal conflicts, but he couldn't help making a sarcastic comment before continuing, "Where's the thing I asked for?"
"Mr. Angelo, rest assured, The Silent
Shadows commitment to our partnership remains unchanged. We're friends, and naturally, we'll help each other out in times of need."
"Reece, I've been with The Silent Shadows long enough. You don't need to feed me lines even a dog wouldn't believe."
Kiran scoffed, "Just tell me your conditions."
"A heart compatible with Caelum is already on its way. Rest assured, Mr. Angelo, after decades of ups and downs, a minor illness won't be the end of him."
"I asked for your conditions, not for pointless assurances."
Reece smiled slightly, "The
condition, of course, is for theNôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

backbone of The Silent Shadows. After all, Caelum is getting old, and
there's a lot he can't handle. We'll be relying heavily on Mr. Angelo's support. Many of The Silent
Shadows' affairs will need your
attention."
"To be a puppet for The Silent Shadows? You've thought this through quite thoroughly."
"Mr. Angelo jests. Aren't you also a member of The Silent Shadows?"
