Rejected My Cheating Alpha Novel by C. Jacobs

Chapter 4

The sound of the urn hitting the table startled everyone seated at the table.

They all stared at me with wide eyes, as if I were a monster.

The room fell into a deathly silence for a couple of seconds.

Veronica was the first to react, speaking with disbelief, “Eileen, Alpha Derick asked where Hadley is. Why are you bringing out an urn to curse your owAdded to the libraryzionally trying to provoke and disgust everyone?”Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

Upon hearing this, they all looked at me with disdain.

Everyone moved away from me, as if fearing I would bring them bad luck.

Sandra clutched her chest and took several deep breaths.

Then she pointed at me and shouted angrily, “Eileen, you’ve gone too far! Tell me, where is my precious grandson?”

“Haven’t I told you? He’s right here!”

I raised my voice, almost shouting in emphasis.

“Eileen, are you done?” the library

Alpha Derick glared at me, fuming, “First you lied to me at the vet’s about Hadley’s condition, and now you’re using an urn to scare people. Have I been so indulgent that you’ve grown so bold as to tell such outrageous lies?”

I looked directly at Alpha Derick and replied firmly, “You can investigate if you think I’m lying.”

Alpha Derick furrowed his brow and stared deeply at me.

As if moved by my resolve, he finally pulled out his phone and called his beta.

“Alger, use every possible means to find Hadley.”

After giving the order, he hung up and said sternly, “Eileen, don’t think that by playing these games you’ll make me believe your lies. Once I find Hadley, you’ll pay for your unreasonable behavior, and you’ll never see him again!”

Alpha Derick’s eyes burned with anger, clearly crossing his personal line.

He would rather believe I had gone mad than accept that Hadley was dead.

After a while, Alpha Derick’s phone rang.

Seeing that it was Alger calling, Alpha Derick deliberately put him on the speakerphone so everyone could hear.

Alger’s trembling voice immediately filled the silent room, “Mr. Gildon, I’ve just learned that your son passed away on the day you sent him to the alpha assessment.”
