Rejected Luna Queen

Chapter 13

Nesta’s POV

I followed closely behind the guards, anticipation building within me like a coiled spring ready to unfurl. The happiness within me is making my naked toes curl in anticipation.

The path ahead stretched out before me, winding its way through the heart of the pack’s territory, and with each passing moment, I felt the weight of expectation grow heavier upon my shoulders.

The pack is really beautiful and well kept. This alpha must be an extremely nice one. I can’t wait to meet him. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

As we walked, I couldn’t help but marvel at the sense of camaraderie that permeated the air, the pack members moving about their daily tasks with a sense of purpose and unity that spoke volumes about the strength of their bond.

It was a stark contrast to the isolation I had felt for so long, and found myself longing to become a part of something greater than myself. My first pack was nothing like this.

The Red Moon pack isn’t the worst pack though. I have passed a few that would not show not an ounce of mercy even if I were dying

At last, we reached the heart of the pack’s territory, where their alpha awaited us, a figure of strength and authority bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun.

Heart racing. I approached, a sense of awe washed over me, mingled with a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunity to meet this kind–hearted wolf who had welcomed me into their midst with open arms.

With a respectful nod, I greeted the alpha, my voice steady despite the butterflies fluttering in my stomach. My baby must also be happy.

“Thank you for seeing me,” I said, my words tinged with sincerity. I am grateful for the chance to join your pack and become a part of your family”

The alpha regarded me with a warm smile, his eyes filled with understanding and compassion. It felt like this was where I belonged right from the beginning with just that smile.

“You are welcome here, he said, his voice carrying the weight of authority tempered with kindness. “We are a pack that values loyalty and compassion above all else, and I believe you will find a home among us.”

As his words washed over me, a sense of belonging settled within me like a gentle breeze, chasing away the lingering shadows of doubt and uncertainty. This is it. Where I truly belong.

I was taken to the main pack where I can get my information signed in the alphas office. I had no idea there are formalities to joining a pack but well

The alpha entered the room and another wave of calm seemed to wash over me, momentarily easing the weight of my burdens and filling me with a sense of reassurance.

His warm brown eyes, framed by a mane of tousled blonde hair that gleamed in the soft light of the chamber, held a depth of understanding that spoke to me on a level beyond words.

There was an aura of strength and confidence about him, an innate command that demanded respect and drew others to him like moths to a flame.

As he approached, his presence seemed to envelop me, wrapping me in a comforting embrace that chased away the shadows of doubt and uncertainty.

For a fleeting moment, I found myself lost in his gaze, the worries and anxieties that had plagued me melting away in the warmth of his presence: Everything seems to vanish at this secon

In that moment, everything felt right, as if the niverse had aligned just for me, and I couldn’t help but be drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Why though!

But even as I basked in the soothing glow of his presence, I couldn’t shake the gnawing sense of unease that lingered at the back of my mind.

There were questions that needed answers, mysteries that begged to be unraveled, and I knew that no amount of comfort could erase the truth of the challenges that lay ahead. Especially with the alpha king and his brother on my trail.

The guards respectfully withdrew, leaving me alone with the alpha, a sense of gratitude washed over me, mingled with a hint of nervous anticipation.

The alpha gestured for me to take a seat, his demeanor warm and welcoming as he motioned for a nearby servant to bring refreshments.

Within moments, the air was filled with the tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared food, and my stomach rumbled in anticipation.

The maids swiftly laid out a feast before me, their movements graceful and efficient as they arranged platters of steaming dishes with care. They didn’t once raise their eyes to look at me but they look well fed unlike us in Red Moon Pack.

Hunger gnawed at my insides, a reminder of the long journey I had endured, and I wasted no time in digging in.

The food was a symphony of flavors, each bite a telltale to the culinary skill of the pack’s kitchen staff. I wolfed down everything in mere minutes, savoring every mouthful as if it were a gift from the heavens.

To my surprise, the maids returned with more, their trays laden with an abundance of delicacies fit for a king. One of them was even smiling or was it a beam, at the way I was eating

I could hardly believe my eyes as they set the dishes before me, accompanied by chilled sparkling water that sparkled like liquid diamonds in the soft light of the setting sun.

I dug in once more, the cares of the world melting away with each delectable morsel. It was a meal fit for a king, and yet here I was, a humble traveler welcomed into the fold with open arms and a feast fit for royalty.

As I ate, the alpha watched me with a knowing smile, his eyes twinkling with amusement at my voracious appetite. I just can’t bring myself to care.

And in that moment, surrounded by the warmth of acceptance and the promise of a brighter future, I knew that I had finally found my place among the kind–hearted wolves of this remarkable pack.

The alpha’s gaze softened as he regarded me with a gentle curiosity, a silent invitation to share my story. Okay, I thought they were going to wait before they ask that. It’s early?

“Tell me, dear,” he began, his voice low and soothing. “Where do you hail from? And what has led you to roam these lands as a lone rogue?”

His words hung in the air like a delicate tapestry, weaving together threads of compassion and understanding that tugged at the corners of my heart. For a moment, I hesitated, the weight of my past bearing down upon me like a leaden cloak

But as I opened my mouth to speak, a surge of fear seized me, gripping me in its icy embrace. What if the alpha deemed me unworthy of his pack, unwelcome among his kin? The thought sent a chill down my spine, and I found myself unable to utter a single word.

Suddenly, the delicious aroma of the food before me turned sour in my mouth, the taste of fear staining every bite. My appetite vanished, replaced instead by a gnawing sense of unease that twisted in the pit of my stomach.

Sensing my discomfort, the alpha’s expression softened further his eyes filled with empathy and understanding. Those brown pretty eyes

“It’s alright,” he said softly, his voice a soothing balm to my frayed nerves. “You don’t have to tell me if you’re not ready. But know that you are safe here, among friends.”

His words washed over me like a warm embrace, banishing the shadows of doubt that had clouded my mind.

And though I remained silent, a seed of hope began to take root within me, blossoming into the fragile promise of a new beginning in the embrace of this kind–hearted alpha and his park.

If this is how they are going to treat me here, I am never ever leaving. As long as I am not getting played like the brothers did me.
