Rejected Luna Queen

Chapter 112

Nolan’s POV

As we were about to step out of the room, Maria suddenly dropped to her knees, clutching our mother’s hands.

“Please, Your Grace,” she pleaded, her voice choking with tears. “You have to make sure they find her. They need to save their baby.”

My mother’s eyes widened in confusion. “Their baby?” she echoed, glancing at Rowan and me. “What do you mean, their baby?”

I shook my head, dismissing the thought. Perhaps Maria was referring to the fact that we had accepted Nesta and her unborn child into our lives.

The last I heard, the baby was Luca’s. This made sense to me in a way. But then, Maria continued, her voice trembling.

“Nesta lied to keep her baby safe,” she said. “She was planning to run away, but now that she is in love with His Highness Nolan, she wants to stay. The baby is truly His Highness Nolan’s and His Majesty Rowan’s.”

Uh, what the hell? The room went silent. My mind raced, struggling to process Maria’s words. She couldn’t possibly mean… Could she?

Rowan was the first to break the silence. He stepped forward, his face a mix of shock and anger. “What did you just say?” he demanded, his voice low and tense.

Maria looked up at him, tears streaming down her face. “Nesta confided in me,” she repeated. “She left the palace pregnant with your baby. She didn’t want to tell you, knowing you would never let her go. But she loves you both and wants to stay now.”

The words hit me like a freight train. My emotions were a chaotic whirlwind: betrayal, happiness, heartbreak, and relief all mingling together in a confusing storm.

Nesta had been planning to run away, keeping the truth from us to protect her child? But now, she wanted to stay because she was in love with me.

Rowan’s expression was a mirror of my own turmoil. He looked at me, his eyes searching mine for some kind of understanding.

“Nolan,” he said quietly, the disbelief evident in his voice. “Is this true?”

I swallowed hard, trying to find my voice. “I… I don’t know,” I admitted. “I never knew.”

Maria nodded, her sobs quieting but still present. “It’s true,” she insisted.

“She was afraid of what would happen if you knew. She thought you might keep her here against her will. But now, she wants to stay. She wants to be with you both.”

My mother’s face softened, her eyes filling with a mix of sadness and determination. There are other emotions in her eyes too that I know are reserved only for Nesta. She loves her.

“We will find her,” she said firmly, squeezing Maria’s hands. “We will bring her home and make sure she and the baby are safe.”

Rowan and I exchanged a glance, the gravity of the situation settling over us. Nesta was carrying our child, and she had been taken. The urgency to find her was now even more pressing.

I felt a mix of emotions that I couldn’t fully comprehend. Part of me was relieved that Luca had never touched her, that the baby was ours and not his.

But another part of me was heartbroken that she had felt the need to keep this secret, that she had been so afraid of what we might do.

And then there was the undeniable joy of knowing that she wanted to stay, that she loved me despite everything that had happened.

“Nesta is ours,” Rowan said quietly, his voice filled with resolve. “We’ll find her and bring her back. She belongs with us.”

I nodded, my determination matching his. “Let’s go,” I said, my voice steady. “We have to find her.”

With renewed purpose, we left the room, ready to do whatever it took to bring Nesta and our unborn child back to safety.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

As we moved through the palace, the weight of our newfound knowledge pressed heavily on my mind. We were not just fighting to save Nesta; we were fighting to protect our future, our family.

The realization strengthened my resolve. No matter what it took, we would bring her home.

I marched towards the garage, my mind a whirlwind of emotions, my heart pounding in my For the first time, I wasn’t riding my motorbike for pleasure.

This time, I needed to find peace. I needed to find Nesta. The beast of a machine roared to life beneath me, its power thrumming through my veins, mirroring the storm within me.

I didn’t care that the baby in her womb belonged to both Rowan and me. I didn’t care that it meant sharing her with him. None of that mattered. All I wanted was to bring her back, safe and sound..

We followed the lead with Rowan in his sports car and the guards in SUVs, but I was ahead, zooming everywhere, the wind whipping past me as I pushed the bike to its limits.

The road blurred beneath me, my focus razor–sharp on the path ahead.

As the miles flew by, my mind raced with questions. We were heading to Crescent Moon Pack- Luca’s pack. Fury surged within me, mingled with a gnawing dread.

Was Luca the one who had kidnapped her? Had she wanted to go with him, and they made it look like a kidnapping? But she had said she loved me.

My heart plunged down to my belly, the weight of doubt pressing heavily on my chest. What if it was all a ploy to get me to lower my guard? What if this was their plan all along for her to run away?

But what about our baby? I shut down my thoughts, refusing to let them mess with my heart any further. I couldn’t take it. I had to stay focused. I had to find her.

The roar of the motorbike was a constant, grounding sound, anchoring me to the present as I tore down the path, the trees and scenery blurring into a green and brown haze.

My mind kept replaying the last moments I saw her, the way she smiled, her hand on her baby bump, the way she blushed when I’called her.

It was real, I told myself. It had to be. The love she felt for me, for us, wasn’t a lie. But the doubt gnawed at me, whispering insidious thoughts that I couldn’t fully banish.

The route to Crescent Moon Pack was treacherous, the roads winding and narrow, but I didn’t slow down. I couldn’t.

Every second counted, every moment I wasted was a moment Nesta was in danger. The roar of the bike and the pounding of my heart merged into one frantic beat, urging me onward.

We were getting closer. The signs of the pack’s territory were evident: the thicker woods, the marked boundaries. My anger boiled over at the thought of Luca daring to take Nesta.

How dare he? But then the doubt crept back in. What if she had gone willingly? What if her love for me was just a facade?

I gripped the handlebars tighter, my knuckles white under the pressure. No. I couldn’t afford to think like that. I had to believe in her, in us. I had to trust that what we had was real.

Rowan’s sports car sped alongside the SUV carrying the guards, and I could see his determined expression in my peripheral vision.

He was just as desperate as I was, his face a mask of resolve. Despite our differences, despite the tension between us, in this moment, we were united in our goal.

The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the road as we neared the Crescent Moon Pack’s territory.

My bike roared louder as I accelerated, my desperation fueling my speed. I had to get to her. I had to find her before it was too late.

We reached the pack’s entrance, and the sight that greeted us made my blood run cold.

The guards at the gate looked surprised, clearly not expecting us. I skidded to a stop, my bike’s tires. screeching against the gravel.

Rowan was out of his car in an instant, his eyes blazing with fury. “Where is she?” he demanded, his voice a growl.

The guards exchanged uneasy glances, clearly unsure how to respond. I felt my patience snap.

“Answer him!” I roared, my voice echoing through the woods.

Before they could respond, a figure emerged from the shadows. Luca. His face was a mask of calm, but his eyes held a gleam of something different.

“Well, well,” he said, his voice smooth. “What brings you here?”

“Where is Nesta?” I demanded, my voice shaking with barely restrained fury.

Luca raised an eyebrow, his smile widening. “Why, she’s right here, of course.”

My heart skipped a beat. Right here? What did he mean? Was she safe? Was she-

“Nolan!” A familiar voice cut through the tension, and I turned to see Nesta being led towards us, her face pale but determined.

Relief flooded through me at the sight of her, but it was quickly replaced by anger. I moved towards her, but Luca stepped in front of me, blocking my path.

“Ah, ah, ah,” he said, wagging a finger. “Let’s not get hasty.”

“Get out of my way,” I growled, my patience wearing thin.

Luca smirked, his eyes glinting with amusement. “Not so fast, Nolan. We have some things to discuss.”

Rowan stepped up beside me, his expression as dark as my own. “We’re taking her home,” he said, his voice cold.

Luca chuckled. “Oh, I’m sure you are. But let’s make sure everything is… in order, shall we?”

I clenched my fists, my anger threatening to boil over. But one look at Nesta, and I knew I had to keep my cool. For her. For our baby.

“We’ll discuss whatever you want,” I said through gritted teeth. “But first, let me see her.”

Luca’s smile widened. “Of course, Nolan. Of course!”

As he stepped aside, I rushed forward, my heart pounding in my chest. I wrapped my arms around Nesta, holding her close. She was safe. For now.

But I knew this was far from over. We had a long way to go before we could truly bring her home.

And I was ready to fight every step of the way.
