Chapter 12 

There was a ringing silence in the room. 

Baron stared at Aurora with a bizarre look. A few seconds later, he suddenly burst into loud laughter. 

He laughed so hard that he was literally rocking back and forth in his seat. 

“Y–You? And me? Outside? Are fucking mess with me right now?” 

Baron wiped the tears in his eyes and breathed: 

“You might be able to fool those idiots in Ever Moon Pack, but I know your history, Aurora! How many times have your middle brother Owen punched 

ou to half–death in the training field? Well, let’s just say that even Owen can’t 

last 1 minute against me. Do you still want to try it out?” 

Aurora let out a light chuckle, “Are you afraid?” 

“Afraid my ass!” Baron snapped. “I’m going to smash your skull!” 

“Or I smash yours,” Aurora shrugged. 

Baron jumped out of his seat. 

Yet Damien put a hand on his shoulder to stop him. 

“Alpha Lance,” Damien turned to Lance with a cold look on his face. “Simply excuse Aurora from the room and there will be no need for a fight.” 

Lance got onto his foot idly. 

“In fact, I could use a little entertainment before the official meeting begins,” Lance said with a lazy smile. 

Damien clenched his fists and glared at Lance in rage and disbelief. 

What the fuck was wrong with this man? 

Couldn’t he see that Baron was twice the size of Aurora? 

Siblings or lovers…Lance and Aurora were very close now. Didn’t he have any idea how to protect her? 

…Aurora?” Damien snapped his head towards Aurora and gritted, “Don’t be silly here. You can’t win this fights” Aurora snorted lightly, “Thanks for your pep–talk.” 

Damien and Baron didn’t know about this. 

But her Alpha Bloodline had awakened after she returned to Ever Moon Pack. 

She was incredibly strong right now. 

She was looking for a chance to demonstrate her strength. Baron’s provocation came right on time. 

Aurora walked around the table and headed toward the door. Before exiting, she looked back and winked provokingly at Baron: 

“See you out there.” 

Members from Ever Moon Pack all got up and filed out. 

Weirdly, none of them seemed worried for Aurora. Instead they were all chatting and laughing enthusiastical 

Baron blew an exciting whistle and was ready to rush outside. 

Yet Damien grabbed his shoulder and whispered into his ears: 

“…Don’t be too hard on her.” 

“What?” Baron cried in disbelief. “You heard that woman Alpha! She was all over herself! Let me teach her a and- 

“You will do as I said,” Damien gave him a dark glare.. 

Baron was hot–tempered. But he didn’t dare challenge his Alpha. 

Scratching his head in annoyance, Baron murmured a yes. 

Damien let go of Baron and left the meeting room in long strides. He took a deep breath and tried to push do the irritated feeling in his chest. 

He was 100% sure that Aurora would be beaten to death by Baron if he hadn’t told Baron to cut her a slack. 

This was Ever Moon Pack. 

He couldn’t have Aurora killed by one of his members. 

10 minutes later, everyone was gathered by the wrestling ring in the training field. 

Aurora jumped upstage.

Baron glared at her. 

He was infuriated by Aurora’s gesture. 

Letting out a deafening roar, he suddenly lunged at Auroral 

Astonished gasps came from the crowd as Aurora deftly dodged this powerful charge. 

She fluidly followed with a quick jab to the giant’s midsection. 

It got him! 

Aloud applause broke out from the crowd. 

Everyone from Ever Moon Pack was jumping ups and downs, cheering for Aurora, whereas people from Silver Blade Pack lapsed into a silent shock. 

Damien widened his eyes staring at the petite figure in the wrestling ring. 

He couldn’t believe what he just saw! 

The woman who just jabbed at Baron was Aurora? 

The same Aurora who used to be so weak and delicate and could only beg for people’s mercy in the training field- 

THAT Aurora?! 

Damien felt his heartrate quickened, 

Aurora was radiant with confidence and power in the wrestling ring right now. 

He couldn’t take his eyes off her. 

“AHHH-

Baron bet out a furious roar. 

He was chasing Aurora in rounds, throwing random punches at her. Yet she skillfully dodged all his attacks. 

She handled her opponent with a level of skill and finesse that even the most experienced fighters would envy. 

It pissed Baron to his bones. 

He had forgotten what Damien said about going gentle on Aurora. 

His attacks were becoming very fierce! 

*Stop running around, you rat!” Baron snarled. 

Catching up with Aurora, he raised his large fist and threw a final, desperate punch! 

If it got her, her skull would be crashed into pieces! 

Damien suddenly shot up from his seat. 

His body tensed. 

He was ready to jump up there and save Aurora any seconds! 

He was worried sick. Even himself didn’t realize that. But his gut reaction betrayed him. 

Yet Aurora deftly sidestepped, spinning around and landing a swift and powerful uppercut, straight to Baron massive jaw. 

SMASHI 

An audible gasp went up from the audience as Baron let out a painful cry. 

He held his jaw, his towering body trembling. 

After a few seconds, he fell to the ground, defeated. 

“Wow–BRAVO!!!” 

Everyone rushed to the ring, clapping and cheering. 

Some members from the Ever Moon Pack climbed up into the wrestling ring and picked up Aurora. 

Laughing loudly, they threw her into the air, 

There was a big grin on Aurora’s face as well. She giggled and hugged with everyone who came forward to

congratulate her. 

Damien remained frozen on his spot. 

Gradually and shallowly, he finally let out a breath that he had been holding. 

His heartrate finally came back to normal. 

“Alpha Damien,” a voice suddenly came from his side. 

Damien looked around and found Lance beaming at him. 

Lance didn’t even leave his seat the whole time as though he had already known that Aurora would win. 

“Let me know if your Gamma needs medical assistance,” Lance smiled. “Our pack doctor Steve is the one who tested your mistress the other day. He is very professional. As you have known.”
