In the freezing winter, a warm bed was a luxury. Juliet tossed and turned, trying to find a comfortable position.
Groaning, Juliet finally opened her eyes, clutching her head as a splitting headache hit her. The classic hangover, she thought. If she didn’t desperately need to pee, she would have gladly stayed in bed for ages.
Slowly, she dragged herself out of bed and staggered to the toilet. She almost fell over as she squatted. Unsteady, she made her way to the sink to wash her hands. Then she caught a glimpse
of herself in the mirror and gasped.
“Ah!” She barely recognized the woman staring back at her. Her hair was a tangled mess, and her makeup was smeared all over her face. Dark smudges under her eyes–was it mascara or eyeliner? -and her lipstick was smeared badly. She looked like a real–life version of a horror movie character.
“What happened last night?‘ Juliet tried to recall. She remembered a top male escort and then some wild, suggestive moments flashed through her mind. Frustrated with herself, she yanked at her hair and paced back and forth in the bathroom.

Juliet’s phone died right after sending the message. As she turned to leave the bathroom and get back to bed, she froze. Standing there was a towering man.

She glanced at herself in the mirror, brushed her hair, and flashed a smile. Despite the mess, she still felt she looked good.
Pretending to be calm, Juliet opened the door and walked past Elvis, grabbing her handbag. She pulled out a wad of cash from her royal blue purse without counting it. After closing the purse, she felt she owed him more because of her behavior last night and took out even more money.
