Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 103

She knew her smile was probably ugly, biting on her back teeth and all, and her voice was stiffly gentle, which was quite odd. But Jesse stopped struggling and his face relaxed a bit, though he didn’t say anything.

“I’ll get you some clothes, wait here,” she said and brought the clothes over to him.

“Go ahead, be careful and don’t wash for too long,” she wanted to reach out and touch his head, but she didn’t dare, afraid that he would swing his wheelchair at her.

Jesse glanced at her before taking the clothes and going into the bathroom.

She breathed a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat from her forehead, it was really killing her.

But it was much harder to coax Jesse than a child.

However, she had learned that he was someone who could be coerced, the more you pushed him, the more stubborn he became, and the more he could drive you crazy! This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

There was a knock on the bedroom door, and Vergil pushed the door open. Not seeing Jesse, he was surprised, “Madam, did Master go take a shower?”

“Yes.”

Vergil had no intention of leaving immediately, he stayed in the bedroom and Nydia noticed his gaze was fixed on the top of his head, but she ignored it and began counting sheep in her head.

Anyway, he had to stay here to protect Mr. and not let him get hurt!

Nydia watched the time, worried that Jesse would have trouble inside, but in less than ten minutes, he came out.

Both she and Vergil were slightly surprised.

He actually washed his hair, which made Nydia speechless.

But when she saw his wet hair hanging messily on his forehead, softening his sharp features, he looked very attractive.

She took the towel and continued to dry his hair, “Vergil, bring the hairdryer.”

Vergil brought the hairdryer and suddenly realized that he was being too obedient. Oops!

Jesse’s hair was neither long nor short, and it was dry after a short while.

“Go to bed,” she said as she looked into his eyes.

Vergil helped Jesse onto the bed, where Jesse lay down and covered himself with a blanket. Nydia tucked him in and placed a glass of water on the bedside table before announcing that she was going to take a shower and would come back to keep him company later. Vergil was puzzled by this sudden obedience from Jesse.

“Sir, do you have any other orders?” asked Vergil.

“You can go off duty,” replied Jesse.

“Okay, sir. Rest well,” said Vergil as he left.

Jesse’s throat was hurting badly, making it difficult for him to speak. He lay on his side with his eyes closed, but couldn’t fall asleep. Nydia’s soft voice kept echoing in his head, especially the phrase “Is that okay?” which made him powerless. Every time she asked him that, he wanted to respond with a “yes”.

Suddenly, Jesse got up from the bed and struggled to walk to the door. He locked it and then returned to bed. Nydia came back with a blanket and tried to open the door, but it was locked. She knocked and called out to Jesse, but he didn’t respond.

Nydia was furious and threatened to wake up Molly and Tavish and make Jesse write an apology letter if he didn’t open the door.

The sound of teeth grinding could be heard in the darkness.
